  5. Ok, here's what I'm going to do: I will release an add on pack that will include the following new aircraft: KC-130F (VMGR-152 skin and decals) KC-130R (VMGR-252 skin and decals) - I've chosen the KC-130R because it's basically a C-130H2 converted to a tanker which can then be used as a KC-130H for the export customers. Plus, it will mean I don't have to make a whole new skin so I can get it done quicker. and the pack will also include replacement .LODs and _DATA.ini files for the following to include JATO: C-130E C-130E (SKE) C-130H2 JATO will be selectable from the loadout screen like the current KC-130T. Dels
  6. Copied all. Just to confirm, you would like: New models: KC-130F KC-130H JATO added to the following current models: C-130E C-130E (SKE) C-130H2 Is this right? Dels
  7. The JATO bottle is part of the LOD and I think it works better that way. I can make some alternative LODs that have the JATO bottles included. Let me know which models you want them on. I can do a KC-130 without the ASE if you like, did you mean a H model variant or J model? Dels
  8. I'm not sure who made the C-130H and C-130H_94 you're referring to but I think the equivalent from this package would be the C-130H2 and C-130H2_ASE or C-130H3. Regards Dels

  12. Sorry for the delay in my reply as I have been flat out with work/family. I had to use the method I described above with the F-2A Viper Zero. I used the F-16's cockpit but added the forward canopy frame via an external model mesh. WEhile my mesh was part of the F-2A external model, this would also work with a fake pilot mesh. As I mentioned, the main issue is the clipping distances. Regards Dels
  13. Hi Steve, If you mean adding a mesh to the cockpit model then, no. You can't use the fake pilot method. However, you can add a mesh to the external model using the fake pilot method which can be visible from inside the cockpit but depending on how close it is to the pilot's POV it may be clipped. Regards Dels
  14. Yes, this is a problem that will soon be rectified with my Herc upgrade. Dels

  19. The map mesh would have to have a helper mesh that is set up as a compass. So this mesh would rotate like the compass on a HSI but you can't see it. The map mesh would be attached to this helper mesh so it would rotate with it. To disable it, you would just need to have a look through the _cockpit.ini and find something that would be a compass and delete those entries. You could use the LOD viewer to find the name of the mesh or you could use trial and error. Dels P.S. All this aside, pilots use heading or track up,north up is for navigators...which one are you?
  20. For a rotating gun, it needs to be pointed forward in the 3d model. This seems weird, but it's set up the same way as tanks and ships. You will need to figure out which mesh has the correct pivot and use that in the _data.ini. This will usually be the main part of the gun which is pointing forward when you look at it in the LOD viewer. Once you've figured this out then you set up the yaw limits for the rear arc of the aircraft. I haven't got my SF2 computer with me at the moment to check, but if you have a look at the B-52s I made it might steer you in the right direction. Dels
  21. Overall, the X-Wing model looks pretty good. It could use more details and smoothing in some places, and less detail in others. However, like whiteknight and Wrench said, it's only the beginning. There's no mapping, no skin, no animation and no .inis so you're looking at a lot of work to bring it into the game. Plus, there's the absolute joy of working with someone else's model. Dels
