  4. Glad it's sorted. When you get a key setup that you like, save it somewhere safe. Then when your keys go south on you again, delete the default.ini file again and replace it with your saved file.
  5. I assume the plane and weapons are stock, they are available and loaded and show up on the plane when the mission starts? If, so... have you changed the fire/release keys in the options menu? If you haven't changed any keys then you can try deleting the default.ini file from your Controls folder. It will be recreated to the default settings when you start the game again.
  6. Which plane are you flying? And which weapons are you trying to fire? Are the weapons available and selected in the loadout screen?
  7. Not sure which version of the F-86 I'm using in SF1, but doesn't seem to cause me problems in that game. It could be because I might not have switched F-86's from SF1 to SF2 and vice versa. Can't remember it's been so long ago and played with way too many F-86's. If anyone has that problem they can contact me and I'll see if I can find them an FM that works.
  8. View File RF-86A Korean War Project Ashtray Korean War RF-86A for SF2 and SF1 RF-86A Sabre of the Korean War Poject Ashtray. There is one zipped file for SF2 and one for SF1 in this download package. Information on this project is and it's predecessor, Project Honeybucket, is schetchy. As gun removal seems to have been personal choice and changed throughout these projects I chose to leave the top four guns inplace as described at one of the few sites with information. Remove any or all guns as you desire. Credit and Thanks to: Zur - for the F-86 model and drop tanks. yakarov79 - for the fake pilot 3D cameras, photos and project info. Diego - for Korean War era pilot. Wrench - for the decals, original skin I adapted/repainted and cockpit mod for the F-86A. ravenclaw007 - for his F-86 template I borrowed text and other details from. regula50 - for the correct plane numbers and project info. FastCargo - for the Fake Pilot. Geary - for new panel lines, rivets, paint, ini modifications, etc... The cameras on the SF2 model are 3D .lods using .jpg format texture. As the .lod's and .jpg's aren't recognized by SF1, those cameras are painted on. If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's work or property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error. INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the folders into their corresponding folders in your Korean War install. If you don't already have the weapon information in your weapondata.ini file, add it. Run the SF1 Weapons Editor. Fly. I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use but please give credit to those due it. If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy. (Those round black circular things on the left mid/tail section of the plane are supposed to be there. They are the cameras and they are placed in the generally correct areas.) 13. I think they are in regula50's post higher up this post. Thanks. The parable of teaching a man to fish is known to me. But I believe they left out the part about feeding him while he's learning. Otherwise he starves and wastes everyone's time. There's also another parable that lazy people quote. "All things come to those who wait." BUT, I honestly would like to learn. Everyone is supporting me to learn. So ... where do I do that?
  14. Check these beauties out. These cameras created by yakarov79 for this project. Thanks, Jarek. MUCH more authentic than my 2D junk. (I think I can see my reflection in those lenses.) So... if someone will know teach me to create decal .tga's for Project Ashtray RF-86A's we can photo recon Korea 1952-1953.
  15. Smile for the cameras. RF-86A reconning, Korea @ 1952. (These are painted on cameras from a 3D model by yakarov79 created for SF2. Thank you, Jarek.)
  16. Kevin, The problem I have with .tga decals is making them. I've tried an old tutorial from here but they just didn't come out right. As far as creating the camera blisters goes ... I didn't have to mess with alpha channels to make them. Guess I should get serious about learning to make decals, huh?
  17. I've painted on a couple of camera blisters. Not near authentic but will do for me for now. Uninstalled the two lower guns but kept the radar ranging gun site. Guns and radar ranging gun sites seemed to be personal choices or at least changed through Project Honeybucket and Project Ashtray and then again through Project Haymaker. Now I need the correct decal numbers built and fixed.
  18. regula50, Good info. Thanks. If I learn to make decals I will use this. I managed to stumble across this item which shows a drawing of the RF-86A camera shape and placement. Apparently they are blister cameras; possibly the K-14's? As I don't 'mod', only paint a bit, I'll paint these on.
  19. Thanks. I've seen these sites. There's some good info but not much detail on photos such as where the cameras are and what is their shape. I was just thinking of painting on the cameras and modifying the lod a bit like hiding unneeded pylons and guns, etc. I'm not sure of unit numbers or decals. I still haven't gotten the hang of making .tga decals. But that's on my bucket list of things to do. These planes are more for AI than flying missions in Korea but occasionally I fly an unarmed photo recon just to see if I can make it back alive.
  20. Does anyone have any good photos of the RF-86A Project Ashtray Sabres? I would like to see the shape and location of the cameras. Also pictures and info of the 15th TRS RF-86A's if possible. I have found a bit of info on Project Ashtray Sabres but few photos and they don't show camera positions. Thanks for any help provided. Geary
  21. RF-80 - 15th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron out for a few pictures, Korea @ 1951. RF-51D - 45th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron picture day, Korea @ 1951..
  22. US Army L-17 Navion, Korea @ 1951.
  23. Wolf257's SBD (with a little skin work). Before the skin work.
  24. I don't have any trouble running SF1 in Windows 7. But first I had to install DX9 in Windows 7, Then run the game's exe file in XP SP3 compatibility mode. No problems after that.
