  1. I'm not sure what the problem is with the radar in the F-4_Kurnass_73 but I replaced it with the F-4_Kurnass_73 from my SF2I install and the radar works. The problem I have with this replacement is I'm not sure if there were modifications made to the Israel XP F-4_Kurnass-73 radar.
  2. RustyKurnass, I had the same problem with the skin not showing up. The VautourIIA.INI file is set to read-only in properties. It is also missing the [TextureSet001] entry. You must uncheck the read-only check box in properties. Save the file. Then run the game. The texture should show up and add the [TextureSet001] entry to the VautourIIA.INI file. Then you can check the read-only box in properties again. This worked for me. Hope it works for you. Geary
  3. Thanks, I think I'll go with brown/blue 2-tone from 56/57 to 68 and 3-tone from 68 forward. My problem was flying natural metal P-51D's in the '48 War of Independence and having 2-tone Mustangs also flying. Didn't seem right. Then in 56 having 2-tone and 3-tone planes flying around.
  4. Yeah, that what I thought. I'm trying to setup my '48 - '56 Israel install. I keep getting Israeli camo popping up on planes when I don't think it was used. But without definitive information I'm at a standstill.
  5. Can someone please tell me the approximate year start and end dates the Israeli Air Force began and ended using the 2-tone and 3-tone camoflage patterns? For instance: 2-tone brown and blue: Start Date Year= ? End Date Year= ? 3-tone brown, sand and green: Start Date Year= ? End Date Year= ? Thanks for any help. Geary
  6. Coupi, Thank you for the compliment. P-51C Mustang. 335th FS. (Wolf257's P-51C Mustang; Wrench's 335th FS skin and decals. New lines, rivets, paint, etc.)
  7. P-40B Warhawk. 47th PS, 15th PG, 1944. (Wolf257's Tomahawk; Wrench's 47thPS skin and decals. New lines, rivets, paint, etc.)
  8. Egyptian Tomahawk 1948 (Wolf257's Tomahawk. I think it's one of Wrench's skin mods but don't know for sure. New lines and paint, etc.)
  9. I'm working on a Photoshop Template for Pasko's old MD-450 Ouragan. It's a rebuild of Wrench's original template. Anyone who wants to 'Beta Test' and/or help please feel free to PM me. I don't have a lot of reference material on this sweet little bird to work from. It is an old SF1 model and has some lod issues such as the bottom right aileron doesn't seem to be mapped correctly, but still a plane that needs some TLC. Any input is appreciated. Geary
  10. EMCON360, This sounds interesting but I can't find a copy of Enbseries HDR MOD on the web. I find plenty of references to it but no where to download it that looks trustworthy. Where can it be obtained?
  11. Nice find. Also, much cheaper than the new versions sold on Amazon for $75 to &100 US. I still have my original boxed version I bought in 2004.
  12. I got SF1 games to work in Windows 10 when I migrated from Windows 7 but they usually crashed to desktop when coming out of a mission. To give it a try you need to first install DX9. Then try starting the games in a Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. You may need to experiment with these modes to see which if any work best for you. The consensus seems to be SF1 games don't work in Windows 10 for most people but I think there may be a few exceptions. I finally just built a Windows 7 computer and my SF1 games run fine on it. Good luck.
  13. kurdistan1, Thanks for the reply but I think I fixed it. I added the color coded water map to the VietnamSEA folder and the 'WaterMap=VietnamSEA_Water.bmp' line to the VietnamSEA.ini file. Fingers crossed it doesn't screw up the great campaigns in this install.
  14. I'm running SF2 Vietnam Air and Ground Expansion Pack in a 5+2 merged install patched at Jul 2013. I'm using the SF2V .exe to start the game. The carriers are in the water at Yankee and Dixie Stations in Campaign mode but on land in Single mission mode. Anyone know what causes this and how to correct it? TIA, Geary
  15. Don't quote me on this because I'm not sure I remember who or how but iirc someone got the RS Corsair to show up in SF2 by removing either gauges or parts from the cockpit. Try a different cockpit.
  16. There are 8 skin folders with 7 skins each. Most are repetitive but span from the mid 60's to the late 70's and from the D to the E model. So, 52 skins in the DLC pack.
  17. Sorry, I can't help with SF1 frame rates in Windows 10 as I didn't track them, but I do remember SF1 would lock up for a few seconds occasionally, then resume. The major problem I had that caused me to build a Windows 7 computer for SF1 was that about 90% of the time the game would CTD when exiting a mission. All seems to work fine with Windows 7.
  18. I'm very interested, but unfortunately also very busy for at least a few more weeks if not a couple of months. I wouldn't have the time to devote to this until things get settled here and slow down.

    Sad news for me.

If there's anything I can do for you, ask.
  20. I had recently retrograded a computer from Windows 7 to XP-64bit as a test computer for SF1. But as I didn't find any real advantage over Windows 7, I reloaded it to Windows 7. This has me interested. I may build a Windows XP computer if I can find all the old parts I want. Something new (old?) to experiment with. Where can I find 'Gerwin's back modded IcelandNA'? I can't seem to find it in the download sections as it is named.
  21. I'm still using Nvidia driver set 353.82 on my Windows 10 SF2 computer. Anyone using newer drivers with NO problems running SF2? I'm using an EVGA GTX 660 graphics card. TIA,
  22. Raven, Just my personal curiosity, but why Windows XP? Geary
  23. I don't have Falcon BMS but I do have a CH Products Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals. I get some of my profiles from the CH Hangar? http://www.ch-hangar.com/
  24. You had me excited there for a bit. I thought I'd missed a YAP (Vietnam) set.
