  1. That looks like my ex-wife!! (If it's not her, I'm positive Krampus visited her at least once a month and stayed for about a week.)
  2. Santa gave it to me as a Christmas present. (I think he mistook me for someone with a similar sounding name.) Now I'm wreaking havoc in the neighborhood. He got it from Yankee Air Pirate. YAP recently released some Helipaks. The CH-54 is in Helipak 4. http://www.yankeeairpirate.net/ModelSelectPage.html

  6. stuntman, I don't have the CH-54, yet, but I suggest looking through as many weapons packs as possible to see if you can find the BLU-82. It may be in one of your weapons folders in one or more of your installs. What tanks does it call for? Stratos, Some of the helos need a bit of adjusting, mostly mine need weapons adjusting. But most of mine seem to fly well in SF2. In fact, the AH-1F flies better in SF2 than in SF1.
  7. 'A Pack of Hunting Cobras' (Thanks to ianh755 and Florian the TOW missiles are placed correctly and working in the AH-1F Cobra.)
  8. Florian, Thank you. I now have the TOW missiles placed correctly for this helo. It wouldn't have been possible but for you and ianh755.
  9. So ... Now I'm dealing with Attachment Angles for the first time. There are three sets of numbers: 0.000000,0.000000,0.000000. Anyone know what the numbers do/change for Attachment Angles? I'm trying to get the back end of the missile lower / front end higher. TIA,
  10. ianh755, Thank you. That was so simple I'm surprised I didn't think of it as I am by nature a very simple thinker. Now for the mundane part; adjusting missile positions in the launcher tubes.
  11. I've been playing with some of the recently released YAP Helipaks. They are released as is ... no weapons, etc. Some come with weapons/launchers built into/onto the lod. Some of the choppers come with weapons that are common/standard to what's available here at CA in one or more of the numerous weapons packs, but a few helicopters are proving to be a challenge to get weapons to work. For instance, the AH-1F Cobra. It comes with modified M65 TOW launch tube system built into the aircraft lod. The callout in the loadout.ini is for a 'RackType=M65_A1.' I can't find this in any weapons packs, so I guess YAP made their own. It also calls for a BGM71 TOW to be used in the rack. The rack is for four TOW missiles. The BGM71 TOW is available but is ONE TOW missile There is an M65 TOW launch rack available with FOUR TOW missiles but it doesn't quite fit into the built-in M65_A1, so I can't place it inside the M65_A1 without parts of the M65 system showing through the M65-A1. CONFUSED? My challenge is to get FOUR BGM71 TOW missiles into the built-in M65_A1 TOW launch tubes on each side of the AH-1F. I haven't been able to wrap my head around this one. There's probably a simple way to do this, but I can't seem to figure it out, so ... any ideas? BTW if anyone got the OH-6A Cayuse and haven't figured out how to get the M-158_M229a system working, I got that one fixed. I modified the M-158_229. Shoot me a PM and I'll explain it if needed. Thanks, Geary

  14. russouk2004, Can't seem to find canopy.tga file with this skin set. I don't also seem to have any templates for the F-4. Guess I missed something somewhere. If you can export it I'd be grateful. This thing should look wicked with the back window painted. Thanks for anything you can do. Geary

  18. RGR, Gepard. I'll be on the look out for these. Thanks, again.
  19. I have the Dogfight series, too and as much as I love watching them, I have noticed their narration and video don't always coincide and sometimes make no sense at all. Guess for the time being I'll leave the A2A off the MiG-17s. Besides I have them on in my What-If Vietnam 1957 and Korea 1957 installs. Thanks for the help on the MiG-17s.
  20. Cocas, Are you sure you have enough bombs? I can still see some skin from beneath.
  21. I have a couple of questions regarding A2A missiles in Vietnam I'm hoping those of you with more knowledge can help me answer. My limited research hasn't turned up much and much of what I found was contradictory or didn't come close to answering these questions. 1. I've seen a few references to MiG-17s carrying A2A missiles in Vietnam, but by default this game doesn't allow for those in SF2V. I surmise the North Vietnamese Air Force didn't have the resources in missile quantity that the US/Allied forces had. And the problem with adding missiles to the MiG-17 is that they are almost always there. Don't know how realistic that is. And if they did carry them, which MiG-17 models carried them? 2. While flying a couple of missions in other planes, I've come across A-4s carrying just A2A missiles. I didn't check the mission parameters in the mission editor so I lost the opportunity to check what their missions were. The game allows them CAP as secondary missions in their data.ini files. Did A-4s carry A2A in Vietnam? And if so, about how often? TIA, Geary
