I did this piece of commissioned art in exchange for a couple of hours stick time in an RV-8. It was totally worth it!

Meaning, a higher rank or supervisor being romantically or sexually involved with a lower rank within their command. This is a very touchy subject, but folks in the military generally can tell when this kind of thing is acceptable, and when it's not. For instance, an Airman can date a Sergeant, but not within the same command structure. The chances a relationship can be used to curry favor on performance reviews is just too great. Alternatively, I know a Major married to an LT, which is fine, as long as it's a legal marriage and the Air Force knows about it, and it wasn't inappropriate to start with. (They were at different bases during their courtship.)

Yep, carrier version. I actually got to see/touch some F-35/F-22 wing skins this weekend, CSTOL wings and a couple of CV wings. There's an awesome level of technology behind this aircraft. -

You guys are in for a treat. Thanks to Fast Cargo's awesomeness, you'll no longer have to toggle your weapon bays! -
Nothing that can't be treated with Permethrin 1% cream rinse and pyrethrins.

Yeah, but not Merlin powered, and NOT over Berlin. Which was my point. RAF Mustangs debuted in combat in 1942.

Does anybody else seem to catch a lot of wrong info on history channel/military channel shows? Not usually on the part of the narrator, but when they show the interviews with the "experts"? I just caught a British historian say that Goering looked up in the air and saw Mustangs flying over Berlin in 1943! The first USAAF raid was on March 4th, 1944 It's just when I catch stuff like that, I wonder how many other things I'm taking at face value? Anyhoo, maybe I'm rivet counting, but it bugs me that these guys are supposed to be the professionals.

I just flew a quick mission in IL2 flying 3 Spit Is against a gaggle of HE-111s with a bunch of Ron Goodwin music in the background. I'm feeling very English lately, for some reason. -

If anybody can tell me the origin of the "Lee Mallory" reference and what it pertains to, you've got a beta slot. EDIT: Or, I should say, an Alpha slot. -

Seems like the C model should have an extra pair of hardpoints to go with that GI-normous wing, but all the literature says no. We will get an extra hardpoint for the gunpod though. And of course the FRICKIN LA-SER BEAM. PEW PEW! (I need sleep) -

I've come up with a new measurement of Thirdwire Mod Time: The F-35B (VSTOL) Will be done "in the fullness of time" Meaning, whenever I damn well get to it if you're supremely lucky! -

Partially, some of the geometry has changed, but other parts remain the same. I try to keep the UV maps as similar as possible to facilitate change-over and to make the transition easier, but certain things won't work between A, B and C texture maps. -

Yeah, That's one of the reasons I just released the Beta version. Cockpits are frustrating!
