  1. Tomb: No, there isn't a "4th file" or "allowed weapons list" for single missions. If you're having problems getting weapons to show up in single missions, then there is a problem with one of the following: 1) The loadout.ini for the aircraft 2) the weapon station configuration in the aircraft's DATA.INI 3) The weapons themselves that you're trying to load. Best to check the changes you made. For example, I noticed on the Sea Hawk FGA.6 that you uploaded that your Loadout.ini specifies 500lb bombs on stations 1 & 2, which you defined in the DATA.INI as FT-only. Eric Howes
  2. Tomb: I just checked the carrier stations -- they are on the proper side (i.e., the friendly side) of the front line. Eric Howes
  3. Tomb: You asked: Simply remove the following line from the bottom of the Suez_DATA.INI: Neutral008=13 Eric Howes
  4. stingray77: There were no changes to the F-8s in the recent update -- none. Moreover, I don't get any of those problems with VF-111 or VMF-235. You could try reverting to the stock DECALS.INI on those skins (USNGrey4, USMCGrey3) -- rename the DECALS.INI to DECALS.OLD. If that doesn't solve the problem, then the cause of it lies elsewhere -- perhaps with your viedo card settings. Eric Howes
  5. Guys: I've got an update prepared. Anyone else have a chance to test that new campaign DATA.INI? Eric Howes
  6. Guys: After spending a few hours with the Suez_DATA.INI and testing, I think I've got the fix for all the problems reported here. First, TK added some new lines to the bottom of the FrontLine section defining neutral locations. So, I added added Cyprus as a defined neutral location. That stopped Red AAA taking pot shots at you while taking off from Cypriot air bases. But that didn't solve the problem of RAF and French AdA units being re-based off Cyprus after but one campaign mission. Second, the front line statement was screwed up, effectively putting Cyprus behind enemy lines. Once I adjusted the last few front line nodal points, moving the front line well east of Cyprus -- close to the Lebanese coast, in fact -- the problem of RAF and AdA units being re-based after one campaign mission was resolved. I've attached a revised Suez_DATA.INI with the new FrontLine section. Note that this file is for the primary Suez campaign, not the Arab Suez campaign or the "alternate" Hunter F.5 campaign version. If you want to test those other campaigns, simply copy the new FrontLine section at the bottom of the file (with the new NeutralLocation section) to the other campaign DATA.INIs. I'm afraid that's all I have time for tonight. Please test this new campaign file and report back with your own results. Eric Howes
  7. Dave: I'll put together a set of updates this evening. It will include the previous updates/fixes that haven't been incorporated into the mod package yet. Best, Eric Howes
  8. Dave: There are four Cyprus target areas defined in the TARGETS.INI -- two are marked NEUTRAL, while the other two (the air bases) are defined FRIENDLY. This arrangement did work before. The only reason I can think that it isn't now would be changes made by TK in the Jun2010 update -- from the ReadMe: * Campaign front line handles neutral boundary better. Not sure why Wrench left two of the Cyprus target areas NEUTRAL. Probably best to ask him to take a look at this problem -- he's the guru on terrains. Eric Howes
  9. Tomb: Thanks for the update. Very interested to try out your new flight model. Eric Howes
  10. bigstone: After you install SF2E run it once and check the patch level listed in the bottom right corner of the main screen. TK may have already updated the downloadable installers to the latest patch level (June 2010). If it's not at June 2010, then download the June 2010 patch for SF2 and install it. At that point you're ready to install NATO Fighters 4+ and the Update package. ODS is a separate mod package that has not been updated for SF2E. Eric Howes
  11. Folks: Forgot to mention one thing in the ReadMe concerning the "dumb" LGBsthat were added. These were added for AI use. AI aircraft in flightsother than the player's have problem using LGBs for some reason. So, bydefault, the F-4D_69 and the B-57G now carry "dumb" GBUs that are infact just regular unguided bombs (which still use the same GBU modelsas the "smart" versions). In the Loadout screen you can change your ownloadout to carry the "smart" LGB versions. Yes, it's a bit of hassle, but better than watching AI aircraft flying around clueless and helpless. Apologies for the omission. Eric Howes

  16. bigstone: No, this mod is for SF2E only. For WOE you can use the original NATO Fighters series of mods available at Column5' site: http://column5.us/campaigns.shtml Eric Howes
  17. jeanba: The AS-30 is corrected. Didn't know of a problem with the Phimat -- will get that in an update at some point. Folks, if you have comments or spot other issues, please post in the main discussion thread for this mod: http://combatace.com/topic/57081-nato-fighters-4-patch-post-dec-2009-patch-level/ Eric Howes
  18. Dave: We probably will eventually. Let's let this ride for another few days -- maybe a week -- and then collect everything that gets reported. The new fixes are available here for those who want/need them. Eric Howes
  19. Tomb: Attached is a small collection of updates to the campaigns that do the following: 1) Add tanks to the available weapons for the Canberra B.2 and MiG-15bis. 2) Add the MK10_1000_LD to the available weapons for the Canberra B.2. As for the MiG-15 slipper tanks not jettisoning, you can change that functionality yourself by changing the following statement on each of the tank stations in the aircraft's DATA.INI from TRUE to FALSE: NoJettisionTank=TRUE Eric Howes
  20. Tomb: Attached are two files: 1) Hunter5_Fixes.zip Contains fixes for both versions of the Hunter F.5 -- the main one (for use by folks with merged installs including SF2I & SF2E) and the "Alternative" Hunter F5 (for use by folks whose SF2I installs are NOT merged with SF2E). 2) MiG-15_Slippers.zip Contains new files to add the 300 gallon slipper tanks to the MiG-15bis. The slippers are set to load only in the AirtoAir loadout (used for Intercept & CAP missions), not the AirtoAirLongRange (used for Escort & Fighter Sweep). If you want them loaded for all air-to-air missions, edit the Loadout.ini accordingly. Also, I restored the 37mm to a "primary gun." Eric Howes
  21. Tomb: I just double-checked the Canberra tanks -- they're showing up fine on my installation. Are you sure that all the files in the ZIP I uploaded were put in their proper place? As for the MiG-15 37mm gun -- that's marked as a secondary gun, not a primary gun. I do not have a fully merged install that includes SF2I and the other SF2 titles, so I'll have to check into the Hunter tanks later. Eric Howes
  22. Tomb: Try the attached fix pack, which is designed to replace several files in your SF2I Mod Folder. Eric Howes
  23. Metatron: Try the attached DATA.INI (backup your original first). This version makes the control surfaces less snappy. Eric Howes
  24. Folks: Attached is a small collection of fixes for three aircraft: 1) Au-1: elevators now working properly; Column5's updated flight model used; bomb attachment points moved back (bombs were hanging off the front edge of the wing) 2) F4U-7: bomb attachment points moved back (bombs were hanging off the front edge of the wing) 3) Spitfire9c_IDF: cockpit.ini now properly named (so you can fly the aircraft) To install, simply unpack the attached .ZIP files and drop all three folders into the \Objects\Aircraft directory of your SF2I Mod Folder. Eric Howes
  25. DoctorQuest: Thanks for the report. If anyone else spots issues with this mod, please report them in the main discussion thread here: http://combatace.com/topic/56548-1948-war-for-independence1956-suez-crisis/ Eric Howes
