  5. I think that weapons were included in some wep pack but I can check it. Last time I tried it I corrected some meshes because of shadow problem (airbrakes I think) So I can upgrade it into SF2 standard and RE-release it again MontyCZ
  6. Does anybody know how to set that radiator/flap thing on the wing? I dont thing it was connected with flap actualy. I was thinking about about some sort of animation connected with throttle but I have no luck with my inis. MontyCZ
  7. Great It needs some minor changes of damagetextures and weathering but I was hoping for some feedback on flight modeling :-) Is here anybody who has got the first beta? Pls let me know about your feelings :-) Thanx MontyCZ
  8. Paulopanz, yes there will be 2 different Avias S-199. The one already released for 1st series and mine for 2nd series and hard FM settings :-) everyone can choose what they preffer :-) MontyCZ

Some progress: Humber MkIII can be released imediately as it is: Jeep Willys is working in game but I have strange problem - no texture is visible and I tried everything (new material, new texturesets, renaming etc) Still no go. Avia has got some new weapons: MER "pylon" with 4x70kg bombs tuned fueltank etc. MontyCZ
  10. hehe that was good one - avia made from styrofoam :-) Yes I am going to reduce the effect. I did it so strong because I couldnt see it on my comp and then I realized that my comp cannot show it. :-) Monty CZ

  13. Thanx I thought, that I can se it only on simple plane and it looks good enough. I will test it. I tried to export original P-51s bumpmap textures to compare them but that compress tool for new cats is not user friendly enough :-) MontyCZ
  14. I found some info about ground units here: Arab order of battle Since Geo did a lot of models I suppose we can have permission to use them. My plans for the ground units are: Humber Mk IV Armed Jeep (israel) maybe R-35/39 Tank some mortars or Artillery for indirect fire Do we need anz strategic objects? buildings, radio towers, ships etc?   15. Thanks allenjb42. Next theme Bump maps: I have slow comp and Win XP so I cannot check game i full details and I dont see any result of bump mapping on planes. I have this is it the correct format for bump maps? do I need higher contrast to be set? thanx for the answers MontyCZ

  17. Thanks for all the pictures does anybody know something else about the plane on guyran 1st. picture? There is no fuselage number, strange unit marking ...looks like later painting similar to spitfires camo. I used this page as a refference For the last 2 days is my work stagnating - with 1st expansion pack I preffer to fly than to write some inis :-) MontyCZ

Dsawan, this is Avia S-199 not the Messerschmitt Bf 109, so historicaly correct users are Czechoslovakia and Israel and I planned to do both plane sets (actualy 2 different planes because Czechoslovak planes have different cockpit cover and oil cooler intake). Flight model will represent Avia which was as good as Messerschmitts from 1939 but with worse groung handling. So dont blame me if you put WWII germany insignias on it and cant win any battle against Spits Mk.V etc :-) (c´mon we have some quality standards of published mods here :-) ) MontyCZ
  21. Sure all marking I will make by decals (thanx to Wrench) so this is the basic skin: with bumpmaps (all 1024x1024). is it the current standard? MontyCZ
  22. Ok it seems I have time to do something (3D,2D graphic, or some basic ini work) then count me in. So if somebody have list of "to do", you can send it to me. ...and JediMaster don´t call Avia S-199 a Bf-109 please :-) MontyCZ
  23. So when I saw those beautiful screens fron new expansion pack, I couldnt resist and started something new: Avia S-199 Mezek (Shakin) I hope I can let it fly soon (2 weeks :-) ) Monty CZ
  24. I cant see problem with prop plane FM, game engine can hande it. If you tried my B-534 there is even "aircraft going to the left" effect on take off due prop torgue. Non scripted flat spins, damage due overstress - I am happy with all those possibilities which engine have. More I am missing belly landing possibility (oh old F-22ADF by DID or Warbirds...) and oil and coolant loosing due to damage with all effects it should have... and yes pilots bailings out (because I am that sort of pilot "which plane do you fly the most? Parachute!" :-) ) MontyCZ
