Hmm tak se tak nějak stalo, že jsem měl i ten týždeň volna (trávím ho v nemocnici s blbým připojením :-( ) Takže mohu říct že z hlediska vzhledu je hotovo: obtisky udělané, teď ještě poladím FM což bude těžký - přeci jen tu nemám joystick to už bych vypadal jako závislák :-) Mějte se Monty

Vono to na začátku vypadá že to je hned hotový ale pak se člověk zahrabe na měsíc v detailech :-) Už jsem zprovoznil pozorovatele :-) to co je v pozadí je testovací umístění jednoho modelu... :-)

Hi all, it seems that Im always trying something specific and nearly impossible to make :-( so if there is somebody with experience with tail gunner modelling I would ask for help. I did this (3D model and textures are 95% complete and I started INI work) for some specific reason I modeled tailgun mounting as it is on this scheme: And my gunner dont shoot and it seems that it didnt aim at planes as well. Basicaly Yaw node (green here) has pivot point no 1 (red lines) which is rotated 15 deg from horizontal position (blue line is that rounded platform) and gun has pivot point no 2 (which is not rotated) This way allows gunner to aim over the borts without collisions of gun and fuselage (I am speaking about visual effect of this configuration). But what this represent for the game physics? Do I need to model it in 3D studio with pivot corresponding with basic XYZ axes? If I remember from B-29 or Ca-3 I had to rotate it to aim forward and then rotate it in game via ini (default 180) Or only gun pivot (no 2) has to be oriented that way? What will hapen when Yaw would be 90 degree (aiming to the side). Can game calculate this combination of axis rotation? Is my way possible? Thanx for any suggestions. Monty

Takže malý update: doufám, že chlapi z avhistory nebo ty co chtěl dělat polskou kampaň brzo udělají nějaký dobrý FM pro Bf-109C,D. :-) Monty

Èau Honzo, s úpravou umístìní pilota asi není problém (když bude zapakovanej u letadla, tak mùžou bejt data upravený spec pro nìho) Obrázky vypadaj fakt hezky. Rozsah mapy bych takhle nechal, vejde se ti tam Leipzig a Drážïany a ty jsou velký dost :-) Za polsko na severovýchod nevím proè lítat...záleží jak by se mìla šanci vyvíjet kampaò V polemikách co by bylo kdyby..., nejsem moc dobrej, ale obecnì se pøedpokládalo že se zaène nìco dít na hranicích mezi nìmeckem a francií ne? No nechám to na tobì, jen bych se pøimlouval aby byla mapa tak hezky vlnitá, jako si dìlal upgrade stock mapy Evropy. Už se tìším jak budu pøepadávat konvoje v kaòonech severoèeských hor :-) Monty

jo ten je dobrej, asi bych si brejle taky nenasazoval :-) ...už se nìjak pohnul Sudetenland? Nìkdo tu vytváøí editor na umísování objektù do mapy, tak jsem mu poslal do knihovny vlaky co jsem pár let dozadu dìlal a ještì bych mohl dotáhnout to opevnìní, co jsem ti posílal ale tam jsem se ještì nepustil do ini editace (vyzbrojení tvrzí, odolnost atd) Monty

I let guys from YAP to work with my max file so I dont know what they changed. If you are interested I can send the file to you. I already sent it to 2-3 people from the comunity, but never checked if they released anything :-( This 3D model is realy OLD and with Razbams and TW versions I dont know if there would be enough interest in it. I have the old cockpit file too - there is a chance to finish it! Monty -

Current LODs have different textures for each side of the fuselage, wing and stabilizer Mapping of the central part of the wing allows cammo pattern too. Unfortunately canopy animation is in the slot no 7 (same as flap animation) so I need to put it into different slot (do you know that there is one animation slot for the propeler? - the wery first release for Wallmart version used jet engine because we didnt understand all data ini parameters) Kevin do you think it would be possible to rerelease A-1H based on your AD-4? (I dont fly Korea) Monty -

So much enthusiasm, I didnt expected that :-) Kevin use this mesh names RightOuterWing01, LeftOuterWing01 I already made separated pylons And for the canopy opening - it is something in ini (it is speed operated) so try to increase some parameters. Monty -
Hello, maybe you might wait for a little moment and I can reexport that old LOD file It has one margin limitation - both sides of the plane were mapped with same texture (mirrored) and same with wings (dont laugh, it was common in 2001 when it was modeled) so when I thought about it I can separate both sides of the fuselage and then I can attach different texture (same mapping different name) and same for the wings. Bonus - more decals on the fuselage and no need to retexture it :-) LOOONG life to the Skyraider !!!! :-) Monty
