  1. Ambitious, but rubbish

  2. My Grand Am has a dent in a really awkward spot on the hood. It's been there since I got it in January. No, I didn't do it. Whatever the case, it's annoying and I want to get rid of the dent without spending money. Any of you gear/petrol heads have a way for removing dents? Also, do they sell champagne beige paint anywhere? I need to do a little touch up in some places. Here's a picture of it. The dent is on the edge of the hood just above the Pontiac emblem. Edit: this topic posted twice. Can a mod delete one?

    Top Gun 2

Whoa...who is she? I think I'm in love. Anyway, TOP GUN 2: On July 11, 1996 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost arts of integrated strike warfare and aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men and women who graduated were the best strike fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center. The flyers call it: NSAWC
  4. The DS Terrain will definitely have to be stripped of a lot of targets. I don't think that targets can exist for only months at a time, so SAMs will be coming from certain areas for longer than they should. I've got what I need on the Iraqi Air Force so I can check something of my big list. Swordsman, I'll gladly accept your assistance in this project. Canadair, think you could create new Iraqi transport routes?
  5. Ok nice to see a little interest. I'll get cracking on this ASAP.
  6. I've been playing with the idea of making an Operation Southern Watch campaign. We have just about all that would be needed maybe minus a few skins. Before I start any more research, I just want to know a couple things. 1. Would people be interested in the campaign? Heavy combat would probably limited. 2. Should it be one large campaign or several smaller ones coinciding with deployments and cruises? Or should it be limited to Desert Fox and the Shock and Awe campaigns?
  7. He is as clumsy as he is stupid. General, prepare your troops for a surface attack.

  8. Browsing Wikipedia when I came across this. The Convair Kingfish. I'd never heard of it before. Looks real ahead of its time. Looks a lot more like a bomber than a recon aircraft. Pity it never left the drawing board http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convair_Kingfish
  9. I feel like I haven't been on CombatAce in ages! How much have I missed? That's the last time I don't sim for five weeks.
  10. He'll remain in the hearts and minds of the Third Wire community forever. Rest In Peace
  11. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. If memory serves, the IAF wanted the Viggen, but weren't able to get it becuase of the engine being of US origin. (albeit being a Volvo built, afterburning version) That's why they got the Jaguar.
  12. And CA isn't my life anymore either. I found those title description things funny.
  13. Wrench, you saw the Raiden. The last remaining one.

  16. There's on that French site for Third Wire
  17. The most destructive conflict in human history. As Nesher said, Never Again. S!
  18. Happy Birthday!
  19. I didn't see the USAF roundels before, nevermind! Like I said before, that skin is too cool!
  20. That's great Baltika! These are exactly what I needed! Thanks! I actually had an idea to do a SWOTL version of these campaigns after I finished the historical* versions. If you want to use my historical* Luftwaffe campaigns as a base go right ahead, I like the idea and would love to help. Maybe add in Secret Allied aircraft and B-29s too! I remember a few years ago, the History Channel had a documentary on the real SWOTL and Luftwaffe Kamikaze weapons. Have had in interest in SWOTL ever since. *As accurate as possible, that is.
