I did notice other ac's in the air and inbound towards the same target that I was on my to obliterate( I prefer to fly strike missions "Fighters pilots make movies, Bomber pilots make history") I also noticed (much to my shagrin) that the SEAD pukes did not "supress" as many SAM sites as I was hoping for (lol) All in all a good time was had by all! It is a list of important targets used in Vietnam "the A list" very high value and HEAVILY defended areas and targets it took a big package of aircrafts; Fighters, STRIKE aircraft, Electronic or SAM suppersion planes and tankers made up a good package. Of course the defenders would have NUMEROUS AAA(of ALL types) SAMs, RADAR sites and interceptors and fighters. Not for the weak of heart!!

Has any one of you great designers or modders put together a Alpha strike mission for WoV or WoE? Is such a thing even possible? Any and all feedback is appreciated. Viper6 out!

Ok These are just a few things I have noticed after flying a few missions in WoV; First you MUST have Balls 'O steel! I mean just lookin at the ground radar screen as you approach the target area is amazing! Second; after surviving the first mission or two you realize that it is just a matter of time before a SAM with your name on it finds you! I am truly amazed at the courage the real pilots showed flying these missions! I just finished flying the A-4 in the Haiphong harbor mission in '67 and OMFG! ther were SAM's EVERY where, and if you got too low the AAA is staggering! I'm also one that has made more than one pass on a target in WoE, but that crap does'nt work too well in WoV! One pass, haul ass baby! When you really think about the real guys who have flown these missions; A4 and thud drivers especially, One has to wonder could I have done that? Viper6 out!

How does one link these fine titles to each other?

Hey I'm back and thanks for all the help, I just re installed the game and there was no need to apply any patches, it is working great i got the weaps pack and some missions for WoV and It is working just fine! (I love it when a plan comes together!)

Ok i downloaded WoV and applied the current version patch as well as the latest service patch. my WoE still works fine but WoV is telling me that it has a problem and needs to close, i looked at the error and it says directdraw.dll what does this mean? am i missing this file? if so can anyone guide me to fix this? any and all help will be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm getting this error but mine says directdraw dll I have WOE and have no problems, i just downloaded WoV and applied the latest patch and version but it doesnt load i'm using xp sp2 can someone please help? I have to go to work now but will be online at 1am pst.

Yeah that high squeek Beep!Beep!Beep! in WoE lets me know that it is time to bend my ac in to a pretzel while diving into the weeds and the jaws of numerous ZSU's Out of the frying pan into the fire!

Wow! I've been down to 500ft and BELOW letting loose. No wonder half my squadron is kia and pow's. those zsu's are no joke! I'll practice some in the single missions before continuing the '68 campain. Thanks for the insight from all you mud movers! Viper6 out!

how do i get this and the two f4's to work in WOE? i read the redme files on all three and followed the directions but did not see them in the single mission choice screen i do see the folders in the object/aircraft tree.

negative, i tried selecting different years but nothing.
