Agreed, I own LOMAC and just to get off the ground is a check list and to get either type of Maverick to lock on to and fire is wayyy too much button sequencing and knowing aspect angles and other crap. Way too much practice involved! Now I did save all my wooden dimes to get a system that is very good and is up-gradeable, so playing any sim is not a problem, I just enjoy being able to mud move without having to go to actual flight school.

This might help, turn your radar off air to ground so it wont have to track all those ground objects, you can still find targets of importance by cycleling thru back or forward with the "E" button or however you have set to cycle forward and back.

I do NOT find that amusing We do NOT have to 'ask' higher ups to eliminate any enemy threats the brave souls that gave their lives in the MOG do not find that amusing, I had two life long friends who joined the corps when i joined the army in '80 they died in '83 in beruit while i was in grenada. When I ETS'ed in '94 due to injuries that is when i found out that my friends in the corps and my brother who was in the USAF were dead add that to the young Rangers I lost in the MOG does not make for a kind or happy man. Since you have NEVER served or shed blood, the above mentioned 'tactics' are NEVER amusing. Happy B-day to all my Corps snipers and Force Recon friends!

And with that will put all the low end users out of the enjoyment, while i have no problems with your argument because i would enjoy all the better 'stuff', I hope that with any of the better 'stuff' won't mean that people will have to upgrade there rigs, a lot of us cant really afford to buy better vid cards or add more ram.

And again this is where the modders and builders come in I got new terrain from a third party source for WoE and WoV, I saw some re-paints here as well, I just hope that all of us will continue to do what we all do best and that is to support each other and offer help to all and above all to continue to make the titles we play the best anywhere!

It looks like a problem due to your hardware, can you go to 1meg of ram? can you go to 256meg vid card? because the settings are low you won't see the sam's smoke plume or trail and when there are a lot of 'objects' on the screen, your vid card slows down as well as the game hence the choppy look, if you were able to upgrade your vid card and ram things would really get better.

I will surely support TK and Thirdwire and buy the new release because I know that I can't mod or build a mission or anything like that but I can offer my monetary support and look forward to all the great mods and ac's that will SURELY be a part of this new release! TK, Thirdwire, Til the wheels fall off!!

I think that TK is counting on the GREAT modders in this fine community to add to his latest project(whenever it is realesed) as well as the mission builders and AC makers! It is a WELL known FACT that these guys ROCK!

We will belive it when we see it lol! I would not count on that release date, but we can keep hope alive!

Anyone wanting to play multiplayer I'm on hamachi Room:(viper6) password (chris) fridays thru sunday night. I have WoE, WoV, and SFgold.

Do you have the weapons pack? it is in the weaps mod section. I had the same problems with the ac's that I downloaded only to find that I needed the weapons pack installed FIRST. So while editing some of the weapons ini files, I reinstalled the weapons pack to WoE, WoV, and SFgold and POW! ALL the weapons were there, AMRAAMs, PHOENIX, BULLPUPS, LGBs, jammers, LANTRIN pods you name it they are there! even NUKES!

Rgr that, It does get slightly easier with some practice and the same target, but it is still a tough go when the whole world is throwing sams and aaa at my ac! lol

Rgr that! Leave it up to the guys in charge to NOT have the foresight to have units like yours in place BEFORE hand! On a lighter note, I use the F-4 with the pave spike and paveway load out when available but it would be nice to put a couple of 2000 pounders on target without needing a masters in physics and geometry.

This is just a something that made me go hmmm...My thought was if the Phantom II EVER got a CCIP, She would really be a awesome AC, not that she isn't now but, just that little modifcation to her avionics would put her into mudmover hall of fame! again just a thought from a guy that LOVES loading her up to the gills and just ruining some poor sap's day!

Or you could have a flight of B-52's carpet bomb the ENTIRE base(s) at night while everone was sleep thus removing them before they ever turned on the engines! P.S. It was just a thought. lol

Hey, The A-7 to me is a great ac! I use her a lot of the time I wish there was a campaing featuring her! I do a lot of single strike missions with the 'Super' variant. I wish she could carry a little more weight. But I really enjoy putting her thru her paces!

Sounds ok, but there is nothing like flying into hanoi in a A-4 with well over 50 AAA and SAM sites, with more effective flak so thick it seems like a overcast day in addition to SAMs comming from EVERY direction, Woowee! pucker factor 1000! Oh, did I mention NOT having ANY counter measures? Just have my cot ready in the 'hanoi hilton'!

Ok here is a huge challenge, get WoV and fly strike, sam suppression and CAS there will be so many targets that your game will slow down! even better yet, take her down on the deck and try to hit as many targets as you can before those 37mm and 20mm quad zsu's turn your ac into dust! happy hunting!

As long as the weap got to the target AND blew it to kingdom come, I'd be happy!

Being a ex-combat vet myself and comming from a military family where my brother a ex-airman took his life, I thank you for seeing that situation to the conclusion, it ALWAYS pains me to know that our wonderful men and women are struggling to deal with the horrors of conflict in ways that the average civilian could NEVER fathom. I really pray that the woman you helped can get all the care she needs to make it thru any given day because some days are a real struggle to get thru.
