Mmmm must say Pat Wilson did make a fine job making in creating the campaign mode for RoF. But about the last thing you are right Woff is very immerse. Think as a WW1 combatflysim you should have them both, going for only the eye-candy better get Clod or BoS. Do not know about DCS, WoW nor TW because I do not own these.

Believe me WoFF V2 is a great game and indeed the $75,- is absolutely worth it, but a warning for WoFF potential buyers: Be aware that the Microsoft Force Feedback joystick is not supported by WoFF game.

But before maybe he should also upgrade his rig. I still can remember running OFF3 wayback in 2009 on a AMD 6400+ dualcore/4Gb RAM/nVidia7300LE-0.5Gb think WoFF needs lots more now-a-days. .

Why did OBD guys move over to Simhq, a website that is prone to slow downs and "no connection message" problems.

I did try this software on my sons system and I know that this 2007 software, is doing strange things when running more then 4 cores. But suppose you run a 4core system and have selected the 4core checkbox [in options]. You have to set all to manual mode, and make a profile. Now run Woff start a mission [CFS3.exe is starting], go to pause and alt/tab Rest to explain is in the picture, think it is the CFS3.exe that is causing max load not Woff btw.

Like what happen in Simhq, think for most readers it is a handy to separate the forum in OFF3 and WoFF subforums.

OK, no problem it is your party. Was only my advice after being a long time away from this forum and notice how unpractical all this is.

You should check the WoFF section at Simhq. Most people do not play OFF3 nor OFF2 etc. so why still combining OFF3/WoFF if the majority is only interested in WoFF??? I know this is not going to bring in, more posters/readers, this is only a handy because most do not have interest in OFF3 anymore and now getting confused. Why do you think the devs did split OFF3 and WoFF at Simhq???? ADVICE: and if going for a WoFF section do use only one and not like for OFF3/WoFF lots of subsections. So I would go for main Over Flanders field like actual, that do have only 3 subsections, containing one WoFF, one OFF3 and one OFF1&2 subsection. Thats means you have to combine every OFF3/WoFF subsection to one and rename it to OFF3.

Wanting to go for WOFF so my OVER FLANDERS FIELDS #3 DVD is for sale, let me now by pm if interested. DVD is only used for a fresh installation on my Harddisk, think it is used two times. OFF3 game was normally starting by a non-CD hack .

Wow first posting done be me, as a WW1 combat flysim it is a honour.

Lets make one thing clear here, do not use any judgement on people who never never played the particular game but still have a opinion on that game. So here I can not do any judgement on FE2 or Combataces, because I never played it , I'm not a fan of FE1 but maybe FE2 could be great. But right now it seems that its going between "OFF3 for CFS3" and RoF-ICE in the poll and I think indeed these are the games to go for. Now how to select between those two games and you only want to spent on one, [as a WW1 sim fan I would get them both]? Lot of opinions on forums like Simhq, RoF and here, going on, so do a search and try to find what you need/like in a game. Do not skip RoF if you want a campaign mode because Pat Wilson [THE RB3d Pat] is still busy in making a RB3d based campaign mode. Personally I'm not a fan of running the game at the minimum PCspec's and RoF needs a big PC to run on a decent level. I'm thinking about something like a Q6700 and a 1Gb Vcard starting from a ATI4850/Nvidia9800GTX+ without this do not even think about RoF. note: why not give the Free ArgonsV WW1-FS a try?

If your have a dualcore setup like I have, you will notice that every update is causing more and more CPU-load. This game is due the last update now only playable for quadcore users, dualcore users can now only play limited and at low settings, so there is no argument to leave your old game and get RoF at the store, because of the low graphic settings this RoF game looks like your old WW1 combatsim, that your playing now. So dualcore users, why leaving your good old, bugfree and stable WW1 fly sim? Did some communication to Neoqb, asking why not using check-boxes to disable some CPU load processes like fluid dynamics or complex FM/DM, but no interest to this point. Wait until Olegs BoB will be published, then they will be forced to act here. But if you are a WW1 flysimmer, have a big quadcore like the i7-920, a decent Vcard then get this game.

I somebody is facing problems regarding creative drivers, then get the alternatives from KXproject, PAX or Daniel_K. First remove the old drivers, use driver remover from 3dguru and then install the alternative ones. PAX and Danial_K are based on creative drivers, KX is difficult but not based on any creative driver source.

Ok its going to that point!!!!! First of all I'm more a less a collector of WW1 flysims, I'm a WW1 flysim fan. I got FE direct after its release date and it is the same as with the WoW flysim, I did not like this type of game then, maybe things are changed now. That why I have asked is the FE campaign mode improved. Because I am more a campaign mode gamer, not on-line anymore btw, one thing that I like about this great OFF3 game is this splendid campaign mode . For this FE was at the start not that much good mods available, so like WoW [=the flysim] I did the installation, played a couple of times and noticed that this games were not my cup of tea, I did had the feeling these games was more a arcade design. After the FE mods went on to be better, I was already to the OFF scene, ok I did a try after I find out about the mods, but for me sorry FE it was OFF as the main game :yes: . BTW I'm capable in swapping files, sorry but I'm not a idiot
