Ho scaricato entrambi i pack. Veramente belli!

And as misteriously as this problem appeared, it has now disappeared But I think I understood what happened: This morning I installed Silent Hunter II (I wanted to challenge a friend who has Destroyer Command ), which apparently is not compatible with my current hardware (I replaced the video card some days ago): after 5 minutes, the game crashed for a video card problem. After that (and after having uninstalled SH2), SFG and SH3 stopped working, until my computer freezed and I had to reboot... From the reboot, I had no more problems. Sorry for this disturbance...

This morining I installed Ajunadir's InAF Canberra B(I) 58. I modified the data and loadout inis following the knowledge base's instructions and then I tried it ingame. From the hangar screen, I started the mission, but the game crashed (without showing me any error windows, unlike other times). I modified the data.ini to takeoff from small runways, but still CTD. I tried various theatres, missions etc. but still CTD. Then I tried to remove the Canberra (the last plane I downloaded before the Canberra was Fracture's TA-4J, and I could play without any problem) and guess what... still CTD! Now, no matter which plane, theatre, mission etc. I choose, I always get a CTD after the hangar screen, before the loading screen appears. I didn't add any weapon while installing the Canberra, so I didn't mess up the weapondata.ini. Finally, I can tell you that I already have Ajunadir's Canberra B1, B2, B-57C, B-57G and RB-57E, and they worked without any problem until now. Is there a way to get everything back working without having to reinstall everything? EDIT: I forgot to say: I have Strike Fighters Gold patched up to the last version. I have the Italian version, but I renamed the translation files in Flight and Menu folders to revert to English texts (the Italian translation is quite un-understandable...), but so far it worked without any problem.

I remember a mission in which I fought against MiG-29s with the Tomcat. I saw an explosion of a missile that hit me, but there was no apparent damage, I could even shoot down other 2 Fulcrums and return to base. Then, when I extracted the landing gear, the right gear was missing... (landed without any problem though).

I film in questione sono "The final countdown" e "Flight of the Intruder". Potete aiutarmi? Grazie mille!

Actually, that's what almost happened for me... I noticed that running near the black walls increased my time from 4 to 15 seconds... Don't worry, I already have Firefox I was using IE7 because I have problems seeing my uni's website with Firefox.

I remember seeing some years ago, at a modelling display, a model of a Tarawa-class (I think) landing ship with transparent part where you could see the hangar deck with Harrier and Cobra models, the area where LAV-25 are stored, the LCAC bay (all filled with models) etc....

I'm also having that problem, but I just resolved it switching the display mode to "Standard" in the option drop down menu in the top right corner of the 1st post.

Mirror mirror on the wall whos the ugliest of them all

Fortunatamente, ho trovato Strike Fighters in vendita in edicola e ovviamente l'ho preso subito.

Oh... a Sea Harrier for sale! Useful to get to work avoiding traffic jams!

MiG-9 FARGO
Dysko replied to Timmy's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
I remember having read that part of the readme, but my problem is that I don't know what to copy-and-paste in the weapondata.ini in order to actually import the fuel tanks in the game. -

Very good plane But I have a small problem: what should I add to weapondata.ini to make the fuel tanks available? I can't find in the readme what lines to add... -

Sorry for the double post, but the WCS team released a Wing Commander 4 demo. Look here

I have the normal X-52, and I have to say it's a pretty good stick. Unlike all the other sticks I had, I've been using it for 5 months and it's still working (the average life of all my other sticks has been of 6 months ). But like Gr.Viper said, you'll need a lot of time to configure it for each game (yes, even the standard version). For some unexplicable motives, sometimes mouse refuses to work, but I don't use it very often. And the MFD... well, I find it quit useless (maybe because I haven't still found any plug-in for it...). Of all the sticks I've used, I think the X-52 is the best I've had so far. So I think it's a good choice for you

Ah... FreeSpace 2 and its campaigns and total conversions... I was making a campaign named "Steadfast" for that beautiful game, but unfortunately since I started uni I stopped working on it (but there are other 2 persons that will finish that campaign). Speaking of WC Saga, the 2 released demos are very beautiful (even if I'm not a WC fan), and there is a modeller who is releasing additional models for it. You can find them here.

I haven't seen the 1960 TV series, but in 2005 Gerard Pirès (I think) released "Skyfighters", a movie based on the 1960 TV series (infact the movie's original name is "Les chevaliers du ciel", exactly like the TV series and the comic on which it was based) with some slight differences (the pilot names and Mirage 2000s instead of Mirage 3s). The movie has pretty good flight scenes (all made with real planes), but the story is a bit... strange (especially a part that reminded me too much "Iron Eagle" ).
