The french are definitly uninvited by ISIS. Therefore, Russia, and most western powers share a common interest in flying iver Syria (either intransit to Iraq or to bomb ISIS positons in Syria) As such, deconfliction protocoles were setup to avoid incident and such situations are common. And this provides crews lot of opportunities to take pictures such as this. -

An Iraqi Su20 attacking an Iraninan base in 1980. Despite the number of smokes, only light damages were done to the installation. The Sukhoi will be later shot down by a F4E on CAP -

Thank you I had a nice fight against Mig23MS (see screenshot section) I used 1980 IRIIAF planes I shot down one Mig with a Phoenix and another with guns.
