Why? despite it´s false, it sounds a good idea to discuss here

I was going to make an scenario for the f-106 in Nam, hunting bedcheck "charlies", and was about to make some skin like that. However, i started by the threat to deal -

I know that his dead is a tragedy, as any other, and that his influence is historic for music, but i can´t stand the hysteria for his dead, while people wouldn´t care so much about the 4300 US troop killed in Iraq. I know that world is unfair, but this morning i just learn that a friend of mine died tonight, 5 days after he crashed his car, leaving him unable from neck downwards. He was 20 years old, he played all song from Bruce Springsteen better than the original, and he didn´t even appear on the university web. So i won´t care so more about Michael Jackson than any other, no matter the popularity he achieved.

Yes, that´s some issue with F-22s for TW sims, i use to deactivate doors at all -
I heard LAPD is going to open an investigation as there was "evidence of crime" I can´t say that MJ dead was unexpectable, given his known health issues, but i would bet there is no crime

Allright. Your technical advise on special effects and artistic issues made me take the decision. Mainly concerned on special effects and artistic issues

I tried once to make once my own Su-30 MKA using the Su-33 Mod and adding the canards to the FM (Thirdwire). It was awesome, but once i flew against it. Two of them intercepted me while on Mirage F-1 recon. First i thought i was doomed, however, i got into the tail of the one chasing mywingman, and a lucky winder shot gave it away. Then i managed to get the second one in another sandwich, when he made something like the cobra. It´s something that Su-27 and even P-38 already did. Do you know the handicap of filling a big, slow moving target showing its biggest aspect (upwards) like this with 30mm fire? None

It was the worst match i´ve seen by our team for long, they seemed asleep. However, the US team made an splendid job, the guy who scored the first here is a replacement in a humble team here, and he blew s**t up. The goalkeeper was awesome. If i disliked someone was Dempsey, who was playing more theater than football, or your football instead of soccer. It may seem amazing, but i think that the US deserved the victory, they played as we did when we were the best

F-22 Pulled From Paris Airshow
macelena replied to NeverEnough's topic in Military and General Aviation
Wasn't the Raptor simulatedly hit by an AMRAAM shot by a Growler? Perhaps the F-22 was bays open this time, but seems possible that fighters with modern and powerful and advanced radars such as SuperHornet, the 4.5 gen european fighters and Su-30s to be able to engage a Raptor using effectively its radar. But the advantage is that the Raptor would see them first. Even if Stealth is compromised, the USAF doctrine in overwhelming the enemy in all the areas of air combat will make the enemy blind. That´s the way that aircraft such as Eagle had achieved results wich hadn´t been expected. As allways, the one who sees first kills first, and despite the possibility of killing a Raptor, he will be allways in advantage. -

I learned, from an article about the AV-8S Harrier, of a comms/navigation/attack feature wich was implemented in "Matador" aircraft for the Spanish Navy, known as "correcaminos" (roadrunner). It would have been developed using SAGE and DIANE technology (not sure about the last) wich could have employed the extra antenna those Harriers had, and used to vectorize aircraft into targets while in radio silence, having been employeded succesfuly in exercises with foreign battle groups. Admiral defined the sistem as a "predecessor of Datalink". I couldn´t find anything else on it Does any of you know anything about this? Could this feature have been present on AV-8C, wich, IIRC, had also the extra antenna? Or any other aircraft using it?

Can you tell something about who employed it? How was it executed or something like that?
