WOE 2009 (Operation Bear Hunt)
macelena replied to EricJ's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
Are you editing he EF2000 FM? I´m doing so for "War on the Strait", but perhaps latest versions of the game support better the original FM. -
The speech on the article Silverbolt got is not exactly brilliant, and might get to confusion for non-native spanish speakers: It says that pilot ejected unharmed

While the PC in wich i have the simulators is screwed up again, i´m back to classics. Now i´m playing mainly Delta Force Land Warrior and Delta Force Task Force Dagger. As far as they are meant to run on the same engine, is it possible to take weapons from one to another?
-
No is the answer to... wich question? C5, our eye who sees all, illuminate us. WTF is 16???

If we talk about the hardest, most exciting, and yet funny and playable FPS for PC, i have to say something i will never accept being discussed at (discuss, of course, but i´m sure) that the best is the original Ghost Recon, with it´s expansion packs. It´s probably, along with Call of Duty MP, the only game wich made my heart bounce. About the war in Georgia, It even hit the year 2008! Missed about Castro, but the good old beard... Btw: any way to mod the Deltas i mentioned?

F-35 Gun Problem
macelena replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Perhaps you uploaded a older file wich you had saved before you made the last modifications to the package. If so, you should check for more things to fix, but if there is nobody reporting bugs, it shall not be as bad -

Just to bump it. Our SAR squadron in the Canary Islands departed southwards, plus a CN-235 MPA from the Civil Guard wich was stationed in Dakar, asked by France. So far nothing found, but it´s a matter of time that they find some kind of debris given the amount of aircraft operating in the area
-
In the islands we have deployed a lot of SAR aircraft due to illegal inmigration, if they are there, they will be found.

No espera.

Fighters vs. Bombers
macelena replied to JRA's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Fly up and down, climb, strafe, dive, strafe, climb... It would be useful if you see the frequency with wich they shoot, and avoid them before they fire. Their tracers are gift to avoid their fire, actually -
Your Nemesis...
macelena replied to Lt. James Cater's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
About the wildcat tactics, i don´t know how do yo people engage the enemies, perhaps you prefer duels 1x1, but once in a mess, i try to shoot down whatever i see. If i see a good chance on one chasing a fellow, i´ll get behind them while evading, i use the surprise, or any chance i may get, i would say that this way there is no aerial nemesis. As far as the aircraft i use the most in the 60s is the F-104G, you don´t use to rely on your maneuvering against any enemy, but have some advantages: Performance (Hehe) and M61A1. With this you can literaly erase them while merging, like jousting. This way, you can fill with lead any enemy, no matter how well does it turn. Get far as you fly fast while they were slow, trying classic maneuvering, so they can´t follow you. You make the tempos of the engagement This is why i like the Starfighter. In real life it may had been a pain in the neck, and is frustrating in the game until you get familiar with him, but it is my favourite fighter is this era. My real nemesis are AAA and SAMs. They got me mad at them. That´s why, when i´m not flying fighters i enjoy so much SEAD -
Pense lo mismo, pero no quise decirlo
