It should have been long ago. Trouble with terrorist groups is when they can´t live other way after so long (it happens with FARC in Colombia, ETA in Spain and France, islamist groups wich using mercenaries like Al-Sadr madhi´s army and others) What drives me mad is how can people doubt they´re the bad guys. FARC or Hamas, in example, are said to be Freedom Fighters, and its just because its the cool, fashioned ideology. Someones able to kidnap for years, or to use retarded kids as guided bombs, should fell the guilt and reject of the public opinion all over the world. This could have ended long ago

A Russian Mig-29 shot down a georgian UAV, over georgian territory disputed by russians, a few weeks ago http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=dNpABtIKERg&...ature=rec-fresh I thought that it could be some hoax, but look when mig crosses its archer´s smoke trail. probably the best footage of a mig killing something(better than the predator vs Iraqui Mig-25)

In Spain, a newspaper said that with the money spent on the EF2000 would have served to build 1500 standard schools, but we have enough schools, and i never saw any school shooting down Bandits. The trouble is that western citizens live in a world of fashion, wellbeing, and can´t believe that world is cruel, unfair, and not designed for confort. ppl should not only enjoy its prosperity, but deserve it, and if the whole west is not minding their armed forces,if they dont care their troops, they won´t have either their freedom and rights ensured-nor deserved.

These kind of mistakes are too dangerous and not taken seriously. A friend of mine, serving in shore patrol, was bitched this way when basic. I guess that it happens with all marine corps over the world, but he only noticed that he fired a live round when his g-36 grenade launcher hit- and blowed a f***ing wall til kingdom come (these were supposed to be rubber ammo for drilling) At least, the urban range got a realistic hit Btw, what happened with robocop? clint eastwood? didn´t you see his gay-shooting at "Kelly´s heroes"?

S*, i should have known there was already a topic of this, next time i´ll bring the raid on Pearl Harbor as breaking news

The french armed forces face lots of challenges for their size, wich means loosing time and money in deployments that don´t let train properly. French pilots get 75 flight hours before qualifying for fighter pilot, while neighbour pilots, as far as i´ve known, spent some more (Spanish pilots make 160 for airforce or 300 if they are navy) The status of french air defence is also troubled by this lack of money for training, scramble times are around 10min between the order arrives and aircraft fly- something in wich french were outstanding The fault is not of military, but due to the politicians trying to get a cheap armed forces- french are brave and motivated, but lack of the proper respect by people, making politicians not to dare giving them a nick due to the public opinion response

I'm officially the worst sim combat pilot ever!
macelena replied to serverandenforcer's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I would like to say "shame on you! ahaha" but but when flying an F-14 sweep, i downed mig-25, 23 & 21, in BVR, dogfight and even a "combat manouver kill" (a mig-23 tried to dive at me- 30ft AGL!) and then, a s**t-17 killed me above their runway (i was bragging em, low speed and altitude) -
I would say Italy. Italy plays hard, are able to supress spaniards, (wich play nice, but get nailed easily) if the referees are easy with them-they´re usually easy with Italy

That´s usual remember that these mirages ate tomcats in Iran-Iraq war In middle 80s, f-15s from Zaragoza AFB were beaten often by spanish and french mirage F1 in dissimilar comabt training -

WoI Aircraft in sfp1
macelena posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I´ve got sfp1, and i would like a lot to be able to fly some aircraft made for WoI (as many sfp1 users, i guess) with EF2000 it was enough with some ini changes, so: How to fly RF-4E (Mirage Factory) without the feeling that it´s a power point? I mean, its very slow, perhaps something about the graphic card, how could i solve it? -

WoI Aircraft in sfp1
macelena replied to macelena's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Thanks everybody if FPS means Frames Per Second, yes, thats what i mean its just like playing chess by mail I thought that resizing the bit maps, as Amokfloo said, could be useful, but, would it affect decals? i already used some from an f-4c, (don´task me how it worked, but some did) About the EF2000, what worked was just changing the cockpit (so heavy) for that of the f-23, and quiting some animations (the canopy opened mid-air, the fueling probe, etc) apart of what craigbrierly said, and went perfect Thanx again everyone -
If i was shot by these motherers i would napalm-fry them so they could remain an unknown tribe

Last time i heard two weeks from Mr. Brierly, it was really about that long Anyway, the one i saw a topic about was the two-seater, if you rather the single seat version, it will take some more time By the way, what have i done to get promoted from "new" to "junior" member? Post replies? -

EF-2000 Progress
macelena replied to Bongodriver's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
I´ve just solved some problems with my plane, hope this is useful to someone in trouble the probe and canopy deployed automatically mid-air, so i just erased these animations fron data.ini the game was rather slow with typhy, and i learnt that it was because something about the cockpit. I changed it and use the one of the f-15 msip. If you don´t mind the realism of the cockpit, remember to change not only the cockpit folder, but also avionics.ini, cockpit.ini and the entry[DetectorSystem] in data.ini, but this won´t include air-to-ground radars However this aircraft is truly impressive, i think( thanks, mr.craig ), so don´t bother troubleshooting and download it before it gets payware! -
Goodnight Phoenix?
macelena replied to Piecemeal's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Those aircraft shouldn´t make any trouble to the phoenix. Perhaps and advanced version of the flogger like yours could use chaff and all this s**t, but your phoenix should down the foxbat under any circunstances you fire the missile  ( im not meaning that if you loose a missile in middle of an empty desert, a Foxbat would appear for "intercepting" it) -
