Samurai's Shipyard

Agree. In fact, those may have been better than Austin LPDs for SF2NA. Anyway, it was about time to get the JMSDF. It was my fav part of a Jane´s 1989 my father keeps with all those ecclectic ships. I wonder how to make them appear in single missions, with Japan having no carriers. A mission with F-4EJs covering a surface group from Chinese attack would be epic -
Im´m not much into FPS, and i feel kind of repulsed by any magical stuff, but i kinda like it

DLC F-4N changes to E-2C
macelena replied to slick cowboy's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
So you select the DLC F-4N for an armed recon mission...and spawn in an E-2C? Now that´s weird -

A rather weird thing about the TMF Cat AWG-9...
macelena replied to thodouras95's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The ingame performance of the AIM-54 is far from constant. With stock only stuff, I remember getting a 4 flight of F-15s down with a ripple launch, not a single miss, but in the next mission, couldn´t hit on any of 4 Tu-16As (no ecm, no chaff) targeted. -
Hmm, bastante baratos, no?

New DLC: Iranian F-14A

My ordy must be a dumbass then -
SPOILERS AHEAD...unless you are old enough to remember It was all about an inmense cloud of unkwon nature headed to Earth, wich ends up being a Voyager probe wich became self aware, collected space trash and was looking for its creator, then there was this guy looking for revenge after being stranded by Kirk, wich captures a Fed ship and some tech to terraform planets wich is kinda explosive, alas Ender´s MD Device. After a lot of combat, and Kirk finding out his son, the bad guy makes his ship explode, and to avoid the explosion, Spock gets into the core reactor to fix the engine, sacrificing himself in the process, he is then torpedoed to a terraforming planet, but then they find out that he wasn´t dead, so they steal the spaceship to rescue him, but in the process, Kirks newfound son is killed by the Klingons interested in the terraforming thing. With Spock back to life, they capture a Klingon bird of prey. Then they get back to earth, because a big ass probe is looking for whales and destroying everything untl they find some, but as they are extinct, they have to travel back to the 20th century to find a couple of them. Then a renegade half-brother of Spock brainwashes the crew to go looking for God in a planet, only to find it is an impostor creature, being saved in the last minute by a Klingon Bird of Prey. The Fed and the Klingon are then to set a truce, but there is a conspiracy by the wich the K ambassador is killed, and poor Kirk is blamed because he hated Klingons after they killed his son, but soon the conspirators are exposed and everything ends up OK. Then there was this bald guy, will post later about him.

New DLC: Iranian F-14A

I never had a love affair with the tomcat, so i might not be the best to talk about it, but i would suggest to go flaps for landing when taking off a runway. Otherwise, specially when loaded with Phoenixes, it might be a little hard to get up before some runways...run away. Surprisingly, i find them harder to maneuver than the Navy Phantoms i´m used to, even the early Bs. Gotta try to learn. -
It is said that the crash was caused by a failure in the controls wich caused the aircraft to dive while flying too close to the ground. It hit the police detail, leaving 6 officers wounded, wich however, managed to get the pilot out of the aircraft alive. It was just reported that he died of burns two hours after the crash. RIP http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=if0jhEA2z8k

This one. Pilot is survived by wife and 18 month old daughter. Was a 34 year old active duty Air Force Major, an aide to the Defense Minister and a veteran Hornet pilot having served in Lybia and Afghanistan. He was filling in for the usual pilot. Apparently, an engine flameout caused the weird maneuver, instead of a pilot error or control surface lock as i had thought.

Tanker crash near Manas AB

It has been a bad week for the USAF...RIP -
Why not? what could go wrong? Allright, you can´t expect too much character depth, realism and academic artwork, but if you don´t ask this to porn film, why ask it to an action film?

Chaotic scene in Boston area after explosions, gunfire, fatal shooting of MIT officer

Chaotic scene in Boston area after explosions, gunfire, fatal shooting of MIT officer

I was allway surprised about the whole debate of caliber differences and their practical effects. For all i know, a hole is a hole, and it is just better not to get shot at. I understand the difference if it has to get thru a bulletproof vest or a wall, but never really understood how an slightly bigger bullet is gonna make such a big difference medically. In the article i read, related to the capture-dead of the first suspect, the cop said that since the bad guy may just keep up before he passes out, he doesn´t carry 45 ammo, using instead 9mm to keep shooting. My personal preference at the issue is that i´m not going to be much happier if i´m shot with a 9mm than a 45, or an M16 than an AK-47, i just don´t fancy the idea of lead in my body.
