  1. RIP Stormin Norman

The bear who copyrighted the idea of ownage back in 1991 Godspeed, sir.
  2. One of the factors is how long do they wait to shoot, rookies wont get as close as aces, neither will they notice you as easily and some other issues
  3. We could, but it would be a better use of time to back up Justin Biebers discography...allright, maybe i went too far this time
  4. As a side note, it would be cool to pay some attention to the RDAF, like an All-green skin for the F-100D and campaign entries, i had none for those or the hunter F.51.
  5. ScreenShots Sueltos

  7. I would speculate (not sure enough to bet) all US Starfighters, Canadians and Gs flyable, F-104S as a DLC (Southern front as DLCs, like A-7H) However, Mirage IIIE is a "must be there"
  8. I think there was something about the terrain, but i´m not sure. However, it fits with your issue
  9. So 21 Dec 2012 Arrived and......

And i´m broke again...i feel like Steve Buscemi in Armaggedon
  10. feliz navidad

    FELIZ NAVIDAD COMPAÑEROS!!!!!!!!!
  11. Same with SF2NA. In fact, i was waiting for all the show we can make before a release. If we just had some WIP screenies... No new features, just the Mirage F1C , the reskinned F-16, flyable F-104 and MirageIIIE, together with campaign integration and such. Maybe even Mirage5F. And some red air to fill in later years, maybe Su-17s and MiG-25s. I don´t think we are getting all the other aircraft forecasted by ini like Bucc, Jag, Swift, Mosquito, Venom (would be half the postwar RAF) Ouragan nor anyother flyables, but hell, you gotta love the whole thing.
  12. Apparently, it was ruled out. Lockheed (whose legal personnel should have more important things to do) wanted to exercise copyrights for the plane, but it was ruled out since any work for the US government is owned by the government, and as such, its image is of the public domain (not its engineering)
  13. Another thing i have been expecting with EXP3 is the return of the Starfighter. I know it is daydreaming, but to some extent, there are data entries for them, and in SFA there are several variants proposed, research such as the project Grindstone...i don´t know how much would it take to get the cockpits, or if the FM needs much revamping, but since it´s been missed dearly since the jump to the second generation, it would be a hit.
  14. Gaza... otra vez?

  17. Battle of the Bulge this day in history

The people who say the Yanks were air support dependent sissies wich could only win by throwing a massive amount of firepower, all they should get as an answer is "Nuts".
  18. I´ve seen them use AG rockets in Armed recon, CAS, SEAD, antishipping and even doing flak supression when on any strike mission, against ground and seaborne targets
  19. unless reinstall and patching to older levels...i find quite unchallenging the lack of SAMs in any scenarios in single missions, you can fly all the way into east berlin without being painted. On the other hand, SA-6s in North Vietnam in 1975 take a heavy toll in F-4Ns. Wish they had at least some SA-8s in Iceland near the airfields
  20. I´ve been reading lately, on how some USN and USMC squadrons, flying F-4J in Vietnam, transitioned to F-4Ns after the war, in example, VF-84 and VF-41, before getting the Tomcats. Theorically, it is a downgrade, at least when you compare the weapons systems, over the wich, i would take the J before the N anyday. Is it related to flight hours, the Ns being just rebuilt, or something? There would be other squadrons upgrading from B/Ns to Js later in the 70s before getting Tomcats, so i don´t know much about the sense this all makes
  21. Naval Phantoms Question...

Indeed, the Midway class and the wartime stress were the only things that made sense to me. It remains interesting, if not surprising, that CVWs, like CVW-14 aborad Coral Sea during Eagle Claw, had Marine F-4Ns wich would come up against an enemy flying Tomcats or Phantoms wich were at least as good as your own. Personally, in SF2 games, i´ve been enjoying flying the "underdog" Phantoms in the late 70s, and an Iceland campaign flying VMFA-323 F-4Ns from Keflavik is is quite fun.
  22. Not making the whole engine, apparently they got some parts, made some others, then assembled or supplied what they had for the Iranians. They didn´t just manufacture, the also dealed with retired Israeli (irony) Bell 212 and other stuff, had a hangar full of them
  23. The fact is, they have to make a living. If Android is profitable, excellent, but that won´t mean anything about SF2. If the PC game is in deficit, it won´t get any further development, maybe just give it a try, but TW will not waste the money from SFA in a product wich is making them loose money. We may get EXP3, some DLCs and so, but after some time, probably just some special offers.
  24. Glad you are back, people was concerned about your health and even your life lol
