Tha chinese can´t copy what? Chinese : "Challenge Accepted. This is gonna be Legen...wait for it...Dary" Seriously, it is not the same when many others already have done it. It will take many years, but not as many as the US took to learn all they know about carriers. WTH, if the US got a worse leadership in the near future, i can even see them giving them a carrier to compensate the debts with the chinese and training them for "improving relationships among two close partners"

The way the norwegians act towards the bears is kind of weird, specially considering their way of acting towards whales. Once, our navy´s oceanographic polar ship, wich usually deploys 6 months a year in the Antartic, made a different cruise and sailed towards the North Pole. The Norwegians commanded them to break when making contact on any bear, and report on their location, status, including any sings of stress. They would appear in lunch time, jump into the sea, and crawl towards the ship, smelling the food being prepared. The Norwegians even protested, as the scientist parties where escorted by sailors armed with CETME C rifles (a heavy, old style assault rifle) for their protection.

All i can think about is talking to the people in Yahoo by other means, however, as this is unlikely to work out, they might not have that kind of service properly in order, so you better try to rebuild from what you have, and warn your contacts ASAP that you old account has been hacked.

Recently, i took myself some time on holydays with the purpose of watching several films wich i had not, but wich by i had heard, i should have. I really liked two of them, wich i recommend: "The Lives of Others", a 2006 German film about a RDA Stasi agent and a couple of artist he is commanded to spy. I can´t really describe it, but is a must see. "Heat". a 1995 US film, directed by Michael Mann, starring Al Pacino as an LAPD detective chasing Robert DeNiro, an armed robber. While i don´t really like too much the films in wich there is some sympathy for the bad guys, this one is not exactly one of those, as one could think. I liked the story, and i think the acting was pretty good, while there was a couple of details wich i felt weird. The action sequences are stunning. Indeed, if you have seen Michael Mann´s "Collateral" and "Public Enemies", the action sequences and the portrayal of the characters, both criminals and good guys, is quite similar. I liked them all for that matter. So well, is there anything to add on that topic?

A Warning......

What if you compensate the US debt with the copyright infringments in China, making the chinese responsible for not enforcing...well, it is worthless, but hey, just messing around -
Just got this from a friend +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FROM: NATO HQ Brussels TO: All Spanish Staff SUBJECT: Improper Language Usage It's been brought to our attention by several officers visiting our headquarters that the Spanish staff commonly uses offensive language. Such behaviour, in addition to violating our group's policy, is highly unprofessional and offensive to both visitors and the staff itself. Therefore it is requested to our Spanish staff to adhere immediately to the following rules: 1. Foreign colleagues or visitors should not be referred to as "that crappy fa***t". 2. Words like "f**k", "s**t", and other such expressions will not be used for emphasis, no matter how heated the discussion is. 3. You will not say "he screwed up" when someone makes a mistake, or "he is being screwed" if you see somebody being reprimanded, or "screw up!!" when major mistake has been made. All direct or derived forms of the verb "screw" are inappropriate in our environment. 4. No Commander in Chief, Section Supervisor or Head of Administration Chief, will be referred to, under any circumstances, as "son of the great b***h", or "the motherf****r" or even "the crapper". 5. Lack of determination will not be referred as to "lack of balls" or "fagotterism" nor will persons with a lack of initiative be ever referred to as "pussy" or "sissy". 6. Unusual and/or creative ideas shall not be referred to as "mindf**k" in particular when they stem from your commander. 7. You will not say "he is playing with my balls" if a person is persistent, or "gonna get his balls cut off" if a colleague is going through a difficult situation. 8. When asking someone to leave you alone, you must not say "suck my d**k", nor should you ever substitute the most educated "may I help you?" with "what the f**k do you want now?" 9. If things get tough, an acceptable expression such as we are going through a difficult time should be used rather than "this is f***ing " or "We´re all gonna get f***ed". Additionally, if you make a mistake, just say so and do not say "I f***d up" or any expressions composed with the root "f**k". Furthermore, when matters become complicated the words "clusterf**k" should not be used. 10. No salary increase shall ever be referred to as "crappy raise". 11. Last, but not least, after reading this note please do not say "i´m gona wipe my ass with this". Just keep it clean and odorless and dispose of it properly. B. regards Rear-admiral J.W. Preview DLCNo. 7
macelena replied to Gepard's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I got all the 2nd Gen, that´s why i mean that a DLC with the Nesher and the MirageIIICJ could be easily modded into Daggers and Post-Falkland MirageIIICJs. I know TK said that his work in DLCs wouldn´t include aircraft being just reskinned, but that´s the feeling i got when seeing some of the models, while i can´t speak out loud about it since i didn´t purchase any DLCs, since all those i´ve seen are derivated from stock aircraft. About the 104, i know all these models are in, too, however, having got a cockpit for the 1st Gen, and given how popular the bird is, i didn´t understand why didn´t TW include it, if the cockpit needs any reworking, i bet it would be worth it. So when i heard about the supposed copyright issue with LM, i bought it, as i saw no other reason. I agree with you on the Mirage IIIE, the only thing about it is... wich version exactly? All of them would be uber, but if that is limited, wich one? Avionics undernose package or not, HF antenna...i don´t know how hard or easy could it be, but there is allways some trouble. -
Preview DLCNo. 7
macelena replied to Gepard's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Both would take 3D reworking for the most interesting variants, those used during the Falklands War. The Skyhaws were A-4Bs and Cs with a rudimentary ECM suite, and the MirageIIIEA was a MirageIIIE with the HF antenna, it would mean work almost from scratch. The "Dagger" (Israeli Neshers) could be done. Out of that period, Mirage3CJ, A-4Ms and early scooters could be done, but i´m not sure on how much would it be fancy, not even to Argentine users, compared to those i previously mentioned. I wish the issue with Lockheed was solved and the F-104 made it back. Wtf, LM should focus on the Raptor and the Lightning and stop being an ass with a fighter 60 years old being used in a videogame. I don´t know much about the trouble, nor who is really suing about that, but this is dumb from my point of view. -
I think it was Bader, and most of what you say is true. However, i doubt they would have let him fly a 109, since even impaired, he did all he could to escape, being sent to Colditz, the Nazi Alcatraz. Should he have got his hands on a 109, it would have been very bad for the Germans

I don´t stab with a paperclip...i kill, disembowel with a paperclip. And no, i said you get no sex scene. Think of your girl. I already thought of such kind of scene. Pearl harbor style, in the parachute yard. Then some poor pilot gets his parachute sticky because of human remains left on his silk and falls to his doom. Stary´s parachute, maybe. Rated R means the boys need their parents to take them the theater, wich means more tickets. We gotta pay for part 2, Korean War. It´s been too long since any Korean War film.

PLEASE DON´T TAKE ANYTHING OF THE FOLLOWING SERIOUSLY Ok, i agree with the idea of a community flick. I will play the role of Mace Windu (i know that Samuel L Jackson is black, but see Tropic Thunder) flying P-51s (I´m done with those MFing Nazis in this MFing ETO!) by the name of Bad MFer. As a Pin Up icon for the plane, i think we could use Katy Perry as my interracial lover. She already featured in a video about a WW2 veteran getting his wife to cheat on him before being KIA. We could just ask her, like a Marine did with Mila Kunis for the USMC ball. For the purpose of engaging the audience, i think we should include sex scenes of both of us, and for the shake of realism, do it porn style (again, my character) Stary can play a member of the polish army in Cassino. I don´t remember seeing Pin Ups on Spitfires, so no need to another female actress. However, you can get Wojtek in a Free Willy style side story Lexx, you are to be Elliot Ness, getting bankers on jail for using the war on their own benefit. Should be easy, pack them all up. You can choose the girl, i recommend Rihanna to keep it interracial. Vic, you can be an exiled Korean commanding the Bombers. The same way as in Pearl Harbor, you get to do anything in the war, from bombing Ploesti to dropping the nukes in the end. Dave, you are Le May. Period. JM, you are Von Braun, i kill you with the propeller. Sorry GrVyper, you are a Hero of the CCCP, you get Milla Jovovich, your poor Ukranian girlfriend caught in the middle of the fight. Slarti, you are a SOE spy on Austria Anyone else coming?

F-100 Combat Film Merged With SF2V
macelena replied to BobWard's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
It´s a miracle you and your companions made it through so much lead flying, Hats off. -
Well, they aren´t releasing the film until 2012, i hope they improve CGI a bit in post-production. That being said, if it´s not over. I mean, those aerial shots looked worse than Pearl Harbor, The Aviator or Flyboys, and let us remember that these were made between 10 and 5 years ago. I would rather real aircraft being used, of course, but, as they need CGI, i just would like it to be more, let´s say, gritty, weathered, with some visual effects to wash out the CGI a bit. Or using computers to mix real images into work, like cutting and pasting a real aircraft to represent several, made intelligently, for example. Get footage of a real mustang making the maneuvering and Using 3D models all the way is wrong, and while it could be cheaper (maybe not as much as one would think) the results of using a bit more of real imagery would look great.

F-100 Combat Film Merged With SF2V
macelena replied to BobWard's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Great footage, great story. Bad luck with Napalm tanks? It seems, one wich ignited midair and the one wich fell into the channel. It would be worse being on the recieving end, however. -

It´s all quiet on this front, however, wait till August and you will hear the guns.

I just learnt that dead toll rises to 87, i´m not sure how many on each attack. Despite we´ve seen almost anything lately, it is still shocking. Many nations have had a day of terror, some got many. Norway got his yesterday, sadly.
-
Nope, if there was a country in the coalition wich would chickens**t to terrorists, that´s us. Thanks God our cops are good on antiterrorism.

Anyway, the F-35 could take some weapons off bays, i don´t know, however, how harmful for their stealth would be carrying a couple of AIM-9Xs

It seems that this case needed to be more worked out. Newspapers are not much accurate when dealing trials. I would bet she did it, but the State failed to prove it beyond the reasonable doubt. The defendant manipulating the jury is one of the reasons why some cases should be judged by a professional jury, that is, a number of judges, instead of people wich, while most capable, are not that literate in law and "lawfare"
