  1. View File [Fictional] Martin B-57B Dhimari 'Canberra' Martin B-57B (Dhimar) for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire B-57B to give a flyable B-57B (Dhimar) in service with the Dhimari Air Force with markings for; No.7 Squadron - 'The Rattlesnakes' No.8 Squadron - 'The Scorpions' Please note that this updated package now requires you to have SF2 Expansion Pack 2 as the stock B-57B was revised (much nicer - check it out). INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the B-57B_Dh folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the B-57B_Dh folder into your Decals folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. 2. Unfortunately, they are not available for download. Both have been seen 'under test' but have not been released.
  3. Martin B-57B - Dhimari Air Force, 1963
  4. BTW TK has incorporated the wing tip-tanks into the LOD so that drop-tank skins can go into the main skin folder. See, it's not all bad news! Edit: Definitely a new LOD, apart from the drop-tanks you can see a real difference on the intakes - much more smooth and rounded than the old dodecahedron* version. Essentially, it uses the same skin though (except the pylons are the wrong colour). * I've been waiting to use that word in polite conversation since 1977!
  5. Looking into this a bit further I can see that the decal.ini's are screwed as well. I'll revise this one for EP2 as it's one of my favourites!
  6. Bravo Sundowner. BTW the nose intake warning decal just gives it a bit of a Sukhoi Su-7 look.
  7. Great advice man! Just took a Lightning to 20,000m and it looks awesome!
  8. Hawker Hunter FR.13 - No.2 Squadron, RAF, 1971 Over Baltika's superb Iceland terrain
  9. You've downloaded a mod that used the 'old' B-57 Lod. It looks like the Exp2 uses a new B-57 Lod. You'll need the matching new data.ini and then edit it to suite the Dhimar version.
  10. Craig's TSR.2 - you'd have to be British to really understand why...
  11. Aren't we putting the cart before the horse here? From TK's point of view his obligation is give his customers a nice 'lite' game/sim that just happens to be modular by design and, in it's SF2 guise, encourages us to build up to a quad-merged install with the Expansion Packs. Sweet! So shouldn't we be making/adapting mods to suit the above rather than expect TK to adapt or reverse-engineer his releases for our mods? Only the other day a few peeps here were getting rather rabid about someone living in the past with SF1 and explaining that the game is evolving and that it was a good thing to move forward with it! What's the difference?
  12. Playing

Nice one James, I really like that Lightning. Please make sure that dear old Dhimar gets it too!
  13. BAC/Fairchild F-112B Lightning - 57th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, Keflavik, Iceland, 1966
  14. Sorry MontyCZ, I meant to post a few days ago, these are brilliant and a superb compliment to your stunning L-39. Thank You!
  15. Happy Birthday Bongodriver!

Happy Birthday Craig and keep up the good work.
  16. Fantastic Cobra's RAFG Lightnings Ant Big Sky Country!
  17. Everytime I see XM172 I think of the Airfix kit!
  18. I like the stock A-4 and F-104 engine sounds and also the VK-1 add-on engine sound. At one time, all of my 'red' aircraft had the VK-1 engine sound and it's really cool to hear the contrasting engine note when they are close, unlike the stock engine sounds.
  19. It's a great aircraft but way too pedestrian when compared to what the P.1154 would have been like.
  20. Aero/BAC Cadet T.3A - No.17 (Reserve) Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1998 Congratulations to Monty for the superb L-39 - outstanding!
  21. Nice one Ed. BTW it goes nice in SF2 too with no prop issues.
