  1. They are slightly whiffy . I'm just about to release a fictional Vampire F.8 with markings for No.3, No.4. No.98 and No.263 squadrons. Here's the loading screen...
  2. Vampire FGA.7 of No.6 squadron (The Flying Can-Openers), RAF Middle East Command.
  3. Vampire F.8 of No.4 squadron.
  4. Vampire F.8 of No.263 squadron, RAF Fighter Command.
  5. They'll be eagerly awaited! Let me know if you need any help with decals (inc. serial numbers).
  6. Boys. I've checked out your mug-shots and I'm reminded of the saying, "If you look like your passport photograph you are too ill to travel".
  7. In my triple merged install (SF2/SF2V/SF2E) I used it remove the rocket pylons from Pasko's super little Vampire. It should work but try making the 'destroyed node name' the same as the 'model node name' and see if that helps.
  8. And another little building block goes into my knowledge bank too!
  9. I'm on my laptop and not my Strike Fighters desktop (there's nothing else on that -LOL) but I've just downloaded by Super Sabre FGA.1 to remind myself. Basically you add the bit you are trying to lose as a component. In the following example it's the wing mounted refuelling probe; Component[001]=Fuselage Component[002]=Nose Component[003]=LeftWing Component[004]=RightWing Component[005]=LeftStab Component[006]=RightStab Component[007]=VertTail Component[008]=LeftOuterWing Component[009]=RightOuterWing Component[010]=Probe ----------- add this line Component[011]=Crosse Then add the following; [Probe] ParentComponentName=wing_right_inner ModelNodeName=probe_ok DestroyedNodeName=refuel_base DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE You can call the component anything you like, e.g. Bernard - it's the ModelNodeName that needs to match the name of the mesh that you are trying to remove. You can also remove parts by making them a weapon station but the above is, by far, the best method. Dave's F-100A Taiwan upload is worth a look if you'd like to see more uses of this method.
  10. No rush, I think it's going to have to be a next weekend project.
  11. Anti-Flash White with 'Dambusters' markings???
  12. Well, it would have been rude not to...
  13. Vampire F.8 of No.98 squadron, RAF Germany soars over the Fassburg countryside.
  14. I can make parts go away but haven't mastered the fake pilot (or alternative) for adding parts. A tutorial on both would be good!

RAF B-1B 'Bone' Skin Pack This is a simple mod of the existing original release B-1B skins to give three 'what if' RAF skins. All I've done is add a bit of overspray to the tail fin, change the canopy glass to a cool blue tint and add some decals. This very minor update just places the decals in a 'D' folder in each skin to suit the SF1 format. INSTRUCTIONS Just drop the 3 skin folders into your B-1B folder. CREDITS BIG THANKS to 'The Bone Team' and, in particular, to the creators of the two original skins; "Skins by ST0RM, Syrinx Jat81500 and my boy Jimmy B!!!!" Regards Spinners Version 2 - October 22nd, 2023

  17. Rockwell Baltimore B.1 of No.12 ('Shiney Twelve') squadron, RAF Strike Command.
  18. If the data.ini is set to LIBYA we can presume that your Su-22 has been made 'nation specific' by you or the original creator. So, are the 'wrong' nations that you are seeing listed in other skins folders? Can they be deleted? If your Su-22 has more than one skin folder is LIBYA set as TextureSet001? Usually, the texture.ini's (in the skin folders) update the config.ini - check this.
  19. It's the superb skin that comes with the B-1B (early) download. I've just added some No.9 Sqd decals (you can get them in my RAF Decal Pack).
  20. Baltimore B.1's of No.9 squadron, RAF Strike Command.
  21. Using the Su-22 as an example... What nation does it say at the top of the DATA.ini? What nation does it say in the skin texture.ini? On the decals.ini what number is associated with insignia (1,2 or 3)?
  22. Supermarine Skylark F.1 of No.63 squadron, RAF Fighter Command.

Supermarine Skylark F.1 for SF1 Wings Over Israel This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Dassault Super Mystère B2 to give a 'what if' Supermarine Skylark F.1 with markings for No.5, No.11, No.23 and No.29 squadrons of the Royal Air Force's Fighter Command during the late 1950's and early 1960's era. It is essential that you have Wings Over Israel as this is the only 'Series One' game to have the Mystère IV LOD's. BACKSTORY The adoption of the earlier Dassault Mystère IV (licence-built by Supermarine Aviation as the Siskin F.1) encouraged Dassault to offer the forthcoming Super Mystère to the UK Government to meet the RAF's requirement for a Venom replacement for overseas use. However, by mid-1955 the requirement had changed to that for a supersonic interceptor-fighter for RAF Fighter Command to supplement the Hunter F.6 and provide a lead-in to the Mach 2 English Electric Lightning. By this time the Super Mystère prototype had flown (initially powered by a Rolls Royce Avon RA.7R) and the successful early flight-testing gave the RAF the confidence to quickly draft an official Operational Requirement based around a Super Mystère powered by the proposed Avon RA.21R and armed with 2 x 30mm ADEN cannon. Supermarine were selected to licence-build the Super Mystère at South Marston as the Supermarine Skylark F.1 for RAF Fighter Command and with an initial order for 120 aircraft and soon supplemented with an order for 45 Skylark FR.2's for RAF Germany (carrying centreline Vinten camera pods). Whilst Dassault quickly moved on to the Mirage family of delta-winged fighters the Skylark was further developed by Supermarine as the FGA.3 fighter-bomber for the RAF and also exported to Finland, India and Saudi Arabia. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the SkylarkF1 folder into your Aircraft folder. That's it! CREDITS Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim. And special thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
