Patch 8.9 is out on Euro Server. They really gave us the T7 light tank. Its an american light vehicle with 12,7mm machinegun. The reloadtime is terrible high. Starts by 30secondsifyou have a 50% crew. I set in a 90% crew from an other tank and the reload time went down to 25 seconds. Its damn long time. But you has aprox 150 rounds per salvo, so you can harm a lot of enemy vehicles very badly. Problem is, that the penetration power is weak. The turret rotation speed is slow too. 24° per second. I'm not impressed, but my son loves this little Amibeast.

Seit Patch 8.8 macht es wieder Spaß mit Maschinenkanonen zu spielen. Man muß jetzt nur noch den Feuerknopf drücken und dann rattert die MK das ganze Magazin leer. War ja vorher anders, da mußte man für jede Salve einzeln drücken. Das habe ich per Zufall gestern mitbekommen und gleich mal meine leichten Tanks ausgepackt. Der T2Light macht nun viel Freude. Der ist schnell und die 20mm Knappe macht ordentlich Schaden. Mit dem PzIIG habe ich einige wüste Gefechte durchgestanden. Das letzte war auf Provinz. Ich stelle mich immer gern auf die linke Seite, dort wo die Häuserreihe ist. Da ich immer Tarnnetz und Scherenfernrohr dabei habe ist dort die perfekte Aufklärerposition. Man muß sich nur ab und zu mal hinter den großen Felsen verstecken wenn man beschossen wird. Nach einer Weile wieder auftauchen, warten bis nach 3 Sekunden das Scherenfernrohr aktiv wird und dann sieht man sehr oft den Gegner auf dem Feld. Schell eine Salve hineingepumpt und zum nachladen wieder in Deckung. Und das ganze zig mal hintereinander. Lief auch ganz gut. Ich hatte 1 Abschuss und der LTP der mit mir auf der Flanke herumstand machte 2 Kills. Nur unsere Deppen auf der rechten Flanke versauten die Sache fast. Sie ließen sich einer nach dem anderen abknallen. Als es dann 4 : 7 gegen uns stand verließ ich meine Position und fuhr nach Osten. Dabei entdeckte ich, daß der Gegner zum Sturmangriff ansetzte und uns mit 5 Fahrzeugen attackierte. Ich zerstörte einen Cruiser III, während meine verbliebenen Kumpels einen PzIC und eine Su-26 zerstörten. Ein M3 Stuart attackierte unsere Anhöhe und knackte einen unserer Verteidiger, während sich der feindliche LTP in unsere Basis setzte. Das sah jetzt ganz böse für uns aus. wir hatten einen LTP, einen T2 Light und einen Panzerjäger I. Die hatten einen Stuart, LTP und eine SU-76. Unser Glück war, daß sich die SU-76 auf der anderen Flanke herumtrieb und der LTP unsere Basis eroberte, also den Stuart auch nicht unterstützen konnte. Ich umging den Stuart und beschoß ihn mit zwei Salven. Dann zog ich mich zurück. Während er sich auf mich konzentrierte griffen der LTP und der PJI von der anderen Seite an. Dann bin ich wieder aufgetaucht ballere eine dritte Salve, bekomme aber auch einige Treffer Gegenfeuer ab. Dann trifft der Panzerjäger und der Stuart platzt. Nun wird die Zeit knapp. Unsere Basis ist bereits zu 70% erobert. Also gebe ich Gas und jage mit vollem Speed den Hang hinab um den LTP zu finden. Ich entdecke ihn, gebe ihm eine volle Salve und da das nicht reichtum ihn abzufackeln, weil viele Geschosse einfach nur abprallen, ramme ich ihn noch. Als Ergebnis steht er in Flammen, ich habe nur noch 50% Lebenspunkte und die Ketten sind ab. Und die Su-76 taucht am Horizont auf. Also Werkzeugkiste aktiviert, Ketten draufgeschmissen und ab gehts. Einen Augenblick später knallts an der Stelle wo ich gerade noch stand. Ich jage voran, versuche in den toten Winkel der Su-76 zu gelangen. Zum Glück sind der LTP und der PJ heran und nehmen die Su unter Feuer. Die zieht sich hinter die Häuser in der Mitte des Tals zurück. Ich umgehe die Häuser und stoßé von hinten auf die Su-76, die sich bereit macht den frontal attackierenden LTP zu empfangen. Nach einer langen Salve ist sie nur noch Schrott. Ich liebe meinen PzIIG!!!!! Man ist zwar fast immer eines der schwächsten Fahrzeuge, aber trotzdem fahre ich ihn recht erfolgreich. 106 Gefechte und 103 Abschüsse. Für einen leichten Tier 3 Panzer ist das nicht übel. Patch 8.9 soll morgen auf dem EURO Server aufgespielt werden. Es gibt eine neue Reihe deutscher Panzerjäger und ein paar neue Premiumpanzer. At american server the update 8.9 will come on 31.October. For a time of 5 hours the server will shut down. New features are a new line of german TDs, some new premium tanks from China and Japan and a new Map.

The hats are so ridiculous. Only the polish hats are a better joke.

Die Mars 2 Behälter wurde von den Polen gebaut. Die verwenden sie heute noch. Auf der letzten ILA gab es eine polnische Heli Drohne, der sie zwei Mars 2 drangehängt hatten.

Problem: Mein Sohn wollte unbedingt Silent Hunter 3 auf seinem Lap Top installiert haben. Betriebssystem Vista. Die Installation lief mit einigen Problemen, doch das Spiel startete nicht, weil der Kopierschutz Starfire die Original CD nicht als solche erkannte. Nach zig efolglosen Versuchen habe ich das Spiel wieder von der Festplatte gelöscht. Nur der blöde Kopierschutz ist immer noch drauf. Jedesmal wenn der Rechner startet meldet sich Starfire mit einer Fehlermeldung. Wie werde ich diesen Mist wieder los? Edit: Sorry, habe mich vertippt, das blöde Teil heißt Starforce und nicht Starfire. Sorry.

For patch 8.9 a new free tank is announced. We will get the Tier 2 light american tank T7. No idea, what this is. But if it is scrap, then we have a new free slot.

I was a while offline. Thatswhy my opinion about the development lines comes now. Personally i like the german and the soviet med lines. For the germans i liked the czech vehicles, the P35t and P38t. Both are great fun beasts. I like the P3/4 and then the VK3001D, which is my favorite. For the soviets i like the T-34 and T-34/85. Nice vehicles. And in my eyes the soviet T-28 is a real fun tank. You need the long 57mm gun, a camo net and the bino optics. Then play it like a tank destroyer. One of the most underestimated tanks. Tier 2 and 3 are still fun. Tier 4 becomes painfull. Tier 5 is the best for farming credits. You must decide which tanks you want to play in the higher tiers. And this line you must develope.

Okay, i found the article. It was in FLIEGERREVUE 3/91 page 84 and 85. The plane was handed over to the soviet air force on 16. october 1970. It was designated as samoljot tipa 22 (aircraft type 22) production number was 220001013. What meant, that it was the 13th aircraft of the first seria of type 22. The plane was flown for a short periode by the soviet forces in Germany, 16th Air Army. Then it was used for testing the plane emergency landing device (MiG-Catcher). For the tests, it was said, the plane was armed to the maximum load and was sent with full AB power into the net. Obviously so the soviets wanted to see wheter the net can stop a full loaded MiG, while a start break. The result was, that the radar nose was destroyed, the swing wing mechanism was heaviely damaged, the tailplane was set out of order. In this condition the plane was sold as scrap to the GDR in mid 70th. The GDR sent the plane to the Flugzeugwerft Dresden for overhaul. After a first repair the plane was sent to Kamenz, where the LSK operated a school for officers and pilots. 1980, the plane was transfered to MTS Bad Düben. There the plane was completly overhauled by the local technicians and teachers to make it operable for ground crew training. For this reason it was used till 1990. The tactical number was 08. It was the original soviet number, which was not changed during LSK time.

One correction. The battle lasted only 3 days. It was fought on Friday, Saturday and Monday. On Sunday the weapons were not fired.

The pictures shows really a MiG-23S in LSK colors. Its the only one MiG-23S the LSK had had. But it was never in flightworthy conditions and thatswhy never flown in LSK service. It was bought from soviets for trainings reasons end of the 70th, early 80th. Then it was placed at the MTS "Harry Kuhn" Bad Düben (military technical school of the Air Force/ Air Defence) for basic training of technicians and ground crews. Some on my old school mates had had their training on this plane. They told me, that the soviets used this plane to test the emergency (net) landing system for airfields. In german language we called this system MiG-Fänger (MiG-catcher i hope this is the correct english term). And i also heared, that the plane was not repaired after the testing and so showed some damages (scars) from the net. In an old flight magazin the plane was descriped, shortly after the political change in 1989/90. I will try to find this article, but it will need some time to find it.

There is one with penetration indicator. The + becomes green if your gun has a chance to penetrate the enemy armour. Its really helpfull. You cant change experience into gold. But you can change experience to "free experience" for gold. In my eyes this is waste of money.

Heute habe ich die 23000 EXp zusammenbekommen um das neue Fahrwerk zu erforschen. Seitdem läuft es besser mit dem Leo PT A. Ich habe jetzt das Tarnnetz drauf, Scherenfernrohr und den verbesserten Richtantrieb. Endlich kann ich den Leo wieder wie einen Jagdpanzer spielen. Großr Sprünge sind aber immer noch nicht drin. Ich habe nur den 630 PS Motor. Um den 830 PS Motor zu bekommen brauche ich jetzt schlappe 33.000 Exp. Das wird eine Weile dauern bis ich die zusammen habe. Aber dann schätze ich mal wird der Leo richtig Spaß machen. Bisher war er eher nur frustig zu spielen, aber bereits mit den neuen Ketten macht er schon ein wenig Freude.

Die MiG-17F der NVA hatte keine UB-16. Das waren Mars 2 Behälter, "made in poland". Die erkennt man an der flacheren Nase. Falls die Geschichte mit der 15 Schuß Ladung für den UB16 wahr ist, dann kann sie auch temporärer Natur gewesen sein. Es gab immer mal Aussetzer und Pannen, die zu technischen Anweisungen dies und jenes zu tun geführt haben. Das Problem, welches auch immer, wurde aber in der Regel gelöst und die volle Nutzbarkeit wiederhergestellt. Falls nicht, dann kam das ganz große Donnerwetter. Deshalb glaube ich, daß Waffens die UB-16 Behälter irgendwann wieder in den Griff bekommen haben. Hier mal zum Vergleich: Mars-2 an Mi-2 UB-16 an MiG-23BN

Ich habe jetzt den Leo PT A. Als Stock Panzer ist er Murx. Aber ich brauche ja "nur" noch 23.000 Exp für die neuen Ketten und dann noch mal dasselbe für nen neuen Motor. Ich glaube ich krieg die Krise! Okay, the only positive now is, that i got 7 days premium time. And the results are much better with premium than with normal. For the last 30.000 Exp in the Indien Panzer i needed two days. I got more credits and i had had the feeling, that i was not anymore in dumb teams. Perhaps the MM prefers premium players. The BDR i have sold. I hated this beast, but the last 3 games changed it a little bit. i got 15 kills in 3 games. and this was the top game: 10 kills. That was cool. Now i love it to ride the T71. I use it seldom as scout, more as a TD. And after a while, if a lot of enemy tanks are burning already, i try to start to kill the heavies. This battle was one of the cases where my tactic runs fine. A lot of folks underestimate the T71. Its a very fast killer beast.

Store the credits and gold. You need it later. First play the tutorial. In the past you were credited for finishing the tutorial with 300 gold. I dont know, wheter it is still today. But if you get gold, then dont waste it. The best start is to play at least 20 missions with each tier 1 tank. So you learn the game mechanics at the best way. An if possible dont sell the Leichtraktor. This tank with stock gun is the best little cashcow you can get. 5000 credits per game is not seldom. And you has no costs.

There is no offline mode in WoT. But there is a trainings mission in which you can get the basics of game handling. And if you start, then you start with level 1, tier 1 called. And there you will face only panzers of tier 1 and tier 2. So no fear, that you must face a PVI Tiger with a T1 Cunningham.

Ich habe die Millionencredits Marke in einem Spiel geknackt. Es gab auf dem Amiserver eine Mission, die ich zunächst gar nicht beachtet hatte. Man mußte je 20 Abschüsse mit dem BDR, dem T-49 und dem M4 erreichen. Dazu noch ein Exktragefecht durchstehen und fertig. Nun den BDR hatte ich mir vor längerer Zeit mal zugelegt und finde ihn zum K...tzen. Ich will ihn aber voll entwickeln um die Chance zu haben den nächsten schweren Panzer irgendwann zu holen. Deshalb habe ich ihn gestern bis zum Abwinken gespielt und plözlich kam die Meldung, daß ich den ertsne Teil der Mission erledigt hatte. Ich war vollkommen überrascht. Dann habe ich nachgesehen, was es mit der Mission auf sich hatte. Den Sherman hatte ich sowieso. 100er Besatzung, 20 Abschüsse bis Montag waren also kein Problem. Ein größeres Problem war der T49. Den hatte ich auf dem Amiserver noch nicht. Ich hatte gar keine Ami TDs. Also mußte ich diese Linie erst erforschen. Zuerst den T18, den T82 habe ich übersprungen dank freier Erfahrungspunkte, dann den M8 bis ich genug Erfahrung zusammen hatte um mit den restlichen freien Exp den T49 zu bekommen. Tja und irgendwann war es soweit. Auch mit dem T49 und dem Sherman jeweils 20 kills. Und eine Mio floß aufs Konto. Dazu gab es 7 Tage Premiumzeit und noch ein paar kleine Leckelies wie Feuerlöscher und so.
