  1. Aerodrom Guyancourt, a smaller airfield with two parallel runways. Civil used.
  2. Flugzeugwerke Dresden, FWD KF-79 Bussard Reengineered F-5E clone, with single east german engine Pirna024.
  3. With a range of 1.000 km and 1.900 km with droptanks, the MiG-17 would have had the legs to fight over South England.
  4. Mirage 2000C over Paris Orly Airport (WIP)
  5. Yes, Airbus is outside the timeframe. I make the terrain for the 1960th. After the experiences of 6-days-War in 1967 nearly all european nations added hardened shelters to their airfields in the 1970th. For the timeframe of 1970th and 80th an other rebuilt of the terrain would be neccessary.
  6. US Secretary of State Blinken promised to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Vietnam in mid-2024.
  7. Boeing 707, 727 and Caravelle would be welcome. A 747 i already have, but it does not fit in the timeframe of the terrain.
  8. The last screenshots of my updated Kuril Islands terrain, before i had blown up the terrain accidently, beyond repair.
  9. Paris Orly (WIP), run- and taxiway layout made after an air photo from 1956. I had to make the airport a little bit smaller, so that it fit into the 2 x 2 km tile.
  10. RIP Snook

Get a new one. It brings happiness back.
  11. And the french called one of their helicopters Panther.
  12. Panther is a name of german tanks. This is the newest one: KF-51 Panther It's in the test phase since last year. It's expected to be combat ready in 2025.
  13. 1940. Battle of Britain. "Bis endlich der Feind am Boden liegt, und England, und England und Engeland besiegt!" ( Until the enemy finally lies on the ground, and England, and England and England defeated down!)
  14. Some say, that France is about to deliver Mirage 2000 to Ukraine.
  15. Aerodom Creil, as could have been in the 1960th. (Parking planes are not yet at their correct positions.) Google Earth gives sat pictures from 1985, which is washed, and then from mid 1990th. So i had to guess which dispersal areas would have been active in the 1960th.
  16. The Battle of the Bzura (or the Battle of Kutno) was the largest Polish counter-attack of the German invasion of Poland and was fought from 9 to 19 September 1939. The battle took place west of Warsaw, near the Bzura River. It began as a Polish counter-offensive, which gained initial success, but the Germans outflanked the Polish forces with a concentrated counter-attack. Finally the Polish forces were completly destroyed.
