  1. Nice shelter. IIRC it was invented in 1938 and was used at satellite airfields like RAF Rochford.
  2. Not at all. The recoilless gun is widely used since 1945. The most popular weapons of this weapon type are soviet RPG-7 or german Panzerfaust.
  3. There were soviet combat spacecrafts in reality. Here a footage of Soyuz 7K-VI mockup: It is not widely known, that 3 of 7 launched SALUT space stations were in reality ALMAZ stations. ALMAZ was the military version of SALUT. It was armed with a 23mm gun. IIRC the crew of SALUT 5 trained the space combat with aiming the gun on american SKYLAB space station.
  4. So RAF Biggin Hill will be in game: The camoflaged runways are better to seen in this screenshot.
  5. This is an air footage of Biggin Hill during Battle of Britain. Biggin Hill was camouflaged, so that the runways were difficult to see. I dont know what they used for camouflaging the runways. Perhaps they painted them green or so. The contours of the imaginary fields were made by distribute tar on the meadow. I dont know wheter this kind of camo would be successfull to beat the Mk.1 Eyeball sensor of the bomber pilot, but on black and white footage the result is impressive.
  6. RAF Biggin Hill I had to move the airfields of Kenley, Biggin Hill and Rochford a little bit, to place them on a more or less correct point on the map.
  7. Ha ha, Bazillus gave me a revenge "Dislike". What a ukrainian piece of . If you has the ukraine as ally you need no enemies. LOL.
  8. RAF Kenley, an airfield of the second defence line close to London. Heavy Flak fire over RAF Kenley
  9. RAF Westhampnett, a small reserve airfield during Battle of Britain.
  10. I had not known, that the british side had camouflaged some airfields during Battle of Britain. Here is an air footage from 1940 of RAF Tangmere Thatswhy i have experimented with a camouflaged tile for airfields: RAF Tangmere: What do you think about this airfield tile. Should it stay in terrain or should i use the old (not camo) green version?
  11. After completed mission landing at RAF Tangmere.
  12. RAF Tangmere Fighter Command
  13. Costum inis i made so far for Hawkinge, Lympne and Croydon, the other are modified airfield3 inis with mass take off mod. So i only must adjust the position of parking planes.
  14. I didn't like the area around the airfield yet. Thatswhy i changed the tiles around the airfield, played with the Croydon tile and so it looks now: The TOD houses of the stock London City tiles are still WIP. Dont care that they have windows in the roof.
  15. RAF Croydon Fighter Command, an airfield mid in London. I think i should make a new airfield tile for this airbase, so that it fit better into London.
  16. RAF West Malling Fighter Command
  17. First steps to get a Liaoning
  18. RAF Detling Coastal Command At the moment i make one airbase per day. 38 bases of the RAF are on the map. So you can calculate when the terrain can be finished. I think X-mas this year is realistic. Or in two weeks.
  19. RAF Eastchurch Coastal Command
  20. RAF Manston Fighter Command (as it was in 1940. The big runway came in 1943 as emergency landing place for heavy bombers.)
  21. Hawkinge Airfield of the Fighter Command
