It was actually the oopossit with tanks. allies had the best tank (T-34) and the numbers (by far) while the germans had the skill. About the planes, I think late war allied planes were as good as those used by the germans. The allies had the advantage of numbers and (at least the western allies, I'm not so sure about the soviets) training

I think there are 14 buttons+2 rotary controls+1 slide control+mouse controls (ministick+wheel+mouse buttons)+3 hat sitchs (max 8 positions each switch. One of them is usually the POW control, so we can count just 2, unles you have TrackIR). And there are 6 modes for each one. So just imagine. Only problem is who needs all those functions and who can remember them all? (unles you want to keep several configurations in a single profile or something like that)

This kind of disasters are usually "forgotten" when they happen in wartime. Very much like the Leoppoldville (a belgian ship that sunk with nearly 800 american soldiers).

Unfortunatelly the "powers that be" (referees) seem to enjoy this kind of game. That or (as I have suspected for a long time) they are simply football player wannabes who suffer a case of extreme jealousy to actual players and take their revenge by allowing them to be kicked time after time by martial artists disguised as football players. Think of it: players who usually hit rival players more time than they kick the ball, can commit a lot of fouls (and I mean fouls the ref saw and signaled) without being punished; but as soon as a good player commits a foul he gets a yellow card (at least). If that happens we should try to scare the dutch by wearing shirts with the face od The Great Duke of Alba on them.

I think they were lucky. They were dead until Brazil self scored a goal. Then it suddenly looked like the brazilian players were the dead ones.
