    G. W. Bush

Vietnam, perhaps? It seems like learning it the first time (Korea) was asking too much from politicians.
  2. If they were willing to stop playing around, I don't think they'd be politicians.
  3. Well, telling the basic story in a different way is one thing (Río Bravo and El Dorado), but when you start messing with the characters too... well, that's different. Problem is: you don't want to make an A-team style movie? OK, then be honest and tell that story with other name and characters, otherwise people might think (and I'm not sure they'd be wrong) you are offering one thing and actually giving other.
  4. "re-interpret" as in "turn the hero into the villain" you mean? I'm not sure fans of "Mission:Impossible" or "SWAT" liked that idea either (as SWAT fan I didn't like it at all). Anyway, I think they should keep the original timeline (Vietnam veterans in the middle/late 80's).
  5. Perhaps that was their plan all along. That or they were a gang of daltonic pirates and they didn't see it was a grey ship. I mean, except color, it doesn't look so different from any other cargo ship (I think)
  6. Probably to make people think "This is not a console game"

    OFF TOPIC

  8. I think we should ask wether the USAF configuration improved something, since Phantom was developed by US Navy. Btw, Iam not so sure about all USAF Phantoms having double command I think only F4C and F4D had it. About RAF Phantoms, they were based on US Navy Phantoms, so I think they had the US Navy configuration.
  9. That's not only an american problem, it happens to all air forces. Remember that, in the Battle of Britain, Luftwaffe pilots claimed more british fighters than RAF actually had. Of course, there are also the opposite, planes that are shot down and not claimed because the pilot didn't see them crash.
  10. E2C Hawkeye Jet?
  11. Something with longer range might be needed. I mean, How many AMRAAMs can you really lock and shoot since the targets enter shooting range (40-50 miles) until they reach your position? Btw, speaking of big interceptors, I forgot YF-12.
  12. Tornado F3 is a bomber interceptor, so I think high manouverability was'nt very important in its design. With that in mind, what about an interceptor version of the TSR? It may sound a little ludicrous, but I've read about plans for an interceptor B-58, and, of course, there was the Tupolev 128 (bigger than both, TSR and Aardvark if my memory is not fooling me)
  13. Finally downloaded. Now the problem is finding time to ptry it, but it looks good .
  14. Make it two trolls then, because I totally agree with Unknown pilot on that. My country was part of the front line for almost 800 years, you know.
  15. Only problem for me right now is downloading it. Anyone else?
  16. I have problems downloading this file. Something wrong with the server?
  17. Shut up, man. Our politicians are dangerous enough without anyone giving them ideas :suicide2:
  18. ¡The russians are coming!. And of course i'm downloading it ASAP
  19. Look at the bright side. Koreans have never started a war for something like this (AFAIK)
  20. You've forgotten the funniest part. You know, when you buy the "whatever movie" DVD and one of the trailers wasting your time is the... "whatever movie" trailer. (Ok, only happened to me once with a VHS movie, but why not with DVD too? )
  23. I have 2 Windows installations First windows desktop: Second Windows desktop background
  24. The millenium Falcon, of course.
