Not too bad a movie, esp when one turns the mind off and remembers its just a movie. Read somewhere the last working Tiger tank is featured in the film. The planes and tracers are CGI'd in, but the tanks were certainly real

daddyairplanes replied to MigBuster's topic in Military and General Aviation
lmao Viggen. reminds me of Kosovo back around 2000. one of the batteries (twas in Field Artillery land at the time) moved sites and decided to ford a river as the fastest way. good pics in the Stars and Stripes LTC's all happy. was working with Bn Maint that deployment and looking at the pics in the paper while getting the call in on just how many of their vehicles went NMC........................... thats how you tell the vets folks. we dont look at teh video saying how cool. we look at it judging how badly things are now effed up due to what happened in the cool video -

How to change VPAF Number?
daddyairplanes replied to HuuTungNguyen's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Welcome! what i did not notice in your descriptions of what you did is addition of new decals. the number list has to match up with what is in the decal folder. it wont match 5121 to 5121 exactly. rather it matches the first number in your list to the first decal in the folder and so on down the line. if you did do this from a mod excuse my nosiness. if you editted it yourself, take a look in the SF1 Knowledge base. it has a couple of tutorials on how to make and adjust your own decals -

SF2NA does not want to merge instal
daddyairplanes replied to Veltro2k's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
also how seperate are your patches? had similar issue loading from my external when SF2E and V were patched form back in 2010 and NA was patched from 13. wound up just dl'ing everything from my TW account onto that comp to get it right but NA was the culprit because it didnt want to play with the older patched exes -

that did the trick sir. thank you i do as best as i can on my own, but to let you know reskins on your birds are the bulk of my planned projects through years end. 141A and B, Galaxy reskin in full swing, and want to apply the same treatment to the 767 (and 737 if released) as i did to the DC-10. many airlines, one skin. but again, thank you for your help -

worked for left but not for right. left was originally on fuselage to get placement down, why it probaably didnt show last time. all other stats in the decal ini match left except facing and meshname....... -

Zipper tactics without heavy modding would be simple. 1 dont stray too far from home, or at least a friendly airstrip 2 hit whats in front of you. they weren't known as the tightest turners and even transitioning from the horizontal to the vertical has proven interesting. buuuuut....... 3 boom and zoom! gawd they go fast when they want to, so after the engagement (what ever teh results) best to beat feat and let the enemy wonder wha teh hell happened. of course my assessment is mud mover driven, but if a Mig is in my area in the Phantom or even the SLUF i might just add to my A2A score. but the Zipper and the Thud, hit the deck with your hair on fire (unless you are fortunate to be blessed by rule 2)
