for those that might be wondering, yes the Ds retained the abiltiy to carry 4 B28 multi yield devices right up to the end. conventional bombing was the main menu, but instant sunshine was always available on request -

SF2 not well optimized for newer systems?
daddyairplanes replied to JamesWilson's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
the main time i experience crashes is after running 3-4 unique missions back to back. but these are hard, system killing (not just CTD) crashes run three then quit is what i usually do. also i forget specifics (other than it being designed for and therefore better on dual core rather than quad core systems), but yes it was optimized for systems from a decade ago- 12 replies

daddyairplanes replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
you know i dont ever keep it simple that said, if i can get a HSAB similar to the Hound Dog pylon, i'll need to ask you about GBU-15s. thats teh main reason why im interested in HSABs all of a sudden -
HSAB pylon request
daddyairplanes posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
looking for an existing Heavy Stores Adapter Beam pylon that i might have overlooked, or requesting a new one i know it's part of the model for the G and H models that are in game, but not so much the stock D model however. not looking for ravenclaw007 level of a model (unless he has one up his sleeve ), just looking for something to better work on a late 70s/early 80s bomber can also do texture and ini work. just needing a model any assistance would be greatly appreciated -

i stand corrected. never got that much info on non US weapons only point debated is the Skyhawk, since carrying a Mk7 was practicaly a design point and i think more likely for the nuclear related avionics to get missed in shipping. look at teh stink when the Israelis asked for the same to be included in their F-4Es; why would they think to ask? but if French based, it would make sense to arm the Mirages first -

all of this is forgetting that you'd need some ecm entries, if ground vehicles can have that did TK not add ADAMANTIUM or VIBRIANIUM as options? -

gonna say, i still think thats wrong for a nuke. the israelis were playing that close to the chest through the 80s, and didnt want to show off they were a nuclear power. so i alwaysl felt a first gen nuclear bomb for them would look as much like a fuel tank as possible think on the book Sum of All Fears; the nuke gets lost because it was mistaken for a fuel tank and they had no time to download it before launching the strike (something happened tothe weapons guard iirc so no one to mention its not a fuel tank) one wouldnt make that mistake with an AN-52 clone -

one panel and 2000 rivets down 4/98000 to go would have been interesting to see how the last D models wouldve handled going down low
