please. couldnt find much on color names (and therefore a hex value) so i used color picker on the middle range of each color from pictures (not the lightest, not the darkest) post coffee edit: take a look at the one in the screenshot thread. i realized the grey was abit too light and darkened it up some. but any FS number or local name for Nato camos would be appreciated -

several air arms had a good bit of success with this fighter. the USN didnt because the armor, heavier weapons (50 cal vs 30 cal) and radios put in after it was designed overloaded it and made it a dog. even Pappy Boyington allegedly said it was a hot little ship "until the Navy threw all that crap in" -
M-978 Oshkosh fuel truck
daddyairplanes replied to GKABS's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
you askin me for some tga or showing what you have to work with? im actually cool either way if you work it yourself, i use the USAAF_Stencil font for alot of my stuff, and it matches what you have there. you would just need to type in all caps for the cross cuts in the letters. (or its how i would do it). use the decal sheet for the guide on WHAT to write, but scratch build the actual tga the data plates (black and white stencils on bottom) and flammable placards would be better pulled from the internet individually. decal sheets are actually good for reference imo, but i dont usually use much other than doors and windows (even then with modification) -
M-978 Oshkosh fuel truck
daddyairplanes replied to GKABS's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
i appreciate it, and depending on how much rework you do, you could work the whole HEMMT family of vehicles. the 978 was the common fueler for the Army's trucks, didnt realize the air force used em too its funny for me as the last two times i recall seeing the fuelers, one had a deer in the windshield, and the other was upside down. aside from the deer, no one hurt in either incident -

had a question that just couldnt wait for tomorrow what about formation flying is easy. just take baby steps -
because regardless of what party is overall in charge of the government, this isnt Full Metal Jacket in the 1960s or even how life was in the 1990s (where yours truly started thinking his name might be shithead 3 weeks in. Actually got called by my last name after qualifying expert on the range). the Army (and all the branches really) are struggling to get new bodies in the door. so, yeah make it not so intimidating on the front end which is what the 99% that doesnt serve primarily thinks of. meanwhile trust me, all "new Army is weak" comments aside, the drills still have plenty of methods to put some stress on the young recruits. might prep them bettter for the real Army, since that is the slick BS corrective trainings. outside Basic and AIT, you either really have to fuck up or have a dickhead leader to get yelled at. Most NCOs are much much more ....... creative. i always liked the one attributed to some German officer (even though we all know its a false attribution) "The American Army excels at war because war is chaos, and the Americans practice chaos everyday" last part sums up working for Uncle Sam perfectly.

Coast Guard ships?
daddyairplanes replied to dsawan's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
it would be nice for the Texas and American South west terrains, as well as Cuba. but then you would need to add some narco boats for them to intercept in addition to the missile boats most would have in those terrains -
from what i hear yes. the actual translation on that is that the folks that work in an office(clerks, higher level command staff) will wear it all the time, the folks that work in a shop (mechanics, cooks) hardly at all and those that have reason to be in a motor pool (damn near everyone else) not very often, but with inspections of the uniforms more often than i like. even more than all the time, i hope they make this mandatory for official travel and public appearances. being on The Price is Right in ACUs is just tacky........... oh and by all the time i mean the Class B version. the full dress As as you have shown will be for travel, inspection, ceremonies or court martials. example of Class Bs below, although i find it hard to believe Dept of the Army actually kept it simple
