Does Track IR work in that sim?

That looks very intriguing. The smoke and flames; did you model that with stretched out cotton? It looks really cool. Impressive work, thanks for sharing that. I have never seen those WWI miniatures before, kind of reminds me of my old days of D&D and the hours of painting tiny little figures into the wee hours of the morning till I went blind .

I had phase 2 running on Vista 64 with little trouble. Just a bit of tinkering. Phase 3 no problems at all.

I use a 47" monitor so the TIR receiver is a good 15" over my head and slightly to my left, and I have no issues. I just point it towards my self using the swivel on the base. HTH

I enjoy such classic games as Russian Roulette and Hidey Hand Grenade ; so I thought I would take a crack at SP2 for Vista X64 today. I will let you all know how it goes. Not sure if it will be from this machine that I post or my XP box. Cheers!

I have personally shot two moving trucks and saw them explode, I have also destroyed a few tents. Air field attacks are a bugger with all the damn shooting they do at you, I always get chewed up when I attack airfields. I have never been successful at destroying a parked plane, but my guess is it can be done. Oh btw after a mission where I shot a ground target I got a message saying congratulations on you ground targets, but they don't count as kills.

Hi Rooster, It seems to me that if XP installed fine and you had no problems until you loaded up the mobo drivers that there is some issue going on there. These are the things I would try, update xp before installing any hardware drivers, then go to the web and get the lates drivers for anything else, I usally go for the video driver first then sound and so on. If the mobo drivers that you have down loaded still cause you a probelem I would take a look at the bios version and see about possibly flash updating that. Thats me though, some may be very uncomfortable flashing bios. I do it alot for all kinds of hardware and never had problems, just make sure you follow procedure and all should be well. These are things I would try, maybe somone else can ad to that. HTH

Just for the heck of it switch the port that you have your card in. Also I see you have a SB XFi. If your board has onboard sound make sure you disable that in bios.

Sorry I missed that. What other hardware you got going on there? Do you have two AGP ports? Give us some more info on what you have in that rig and maybe we can figure out what is causing that? NM I assume SLI means you have 2 ports. You have 2 cards? If so try switching them. If not switch the one card you do have and see what happens.

I asked that question because I had a similar problem. I tried to install an old copy of XP onto some new hardware and no joy. I had to go out and buy a copy of xp with SP1 already loaded up. That installed no problem. Im not sure how to get around having to buy the upgraded disk though. Maybe somone else will know a work-arround. GL

Is that a service packed version of XP? I would recommend getting XP completely up to date before you install any of the mother board drivers.

I guess I must be thick. I just could not make myself believe that they would actually delete all that great information. Well, I like it over here just fine. I must say the UI here at CA is superb btw.

Not having a virtual pilot in every cockpit. I just find that be a nice touch for me. Also the medals, that is getting 5 of the same thing, and the overall look of them. I believe that is being worked on though.
