Sorry, but at the moment I'm in love with the Phantom F-4E, Royal Moroccan Air Force, 1984 -
This is what-if, so I may apologize for anything that isn't described the way it really happened. During the Vietnam War, thai troops assisted the US against the Viet Cong, losing more than 1,000 men in the fights. During the many battles in Vietnam, thai soldiers experienced the tremendous power of the US Air Force and Navy aircraft. Especially the F-4 Phantom with her J79-Engines roaring over the battlefields received a special respect from the troops. But not only in Vietnam, also in Thailand itself, where many sorties of the US Army and special forces were initiated from, the Phantom was an impressive and formidable apparition. As for being an important partner, especially in black op matters, the Pentagon granted Thailand the permission to purchase some F-4Js for their Navy, which were of great use during the hasty evacuation of Saigon in 1975, protecting escaping vessels and aircraft against potential threat from northvietnamese armed forces. As reward for their unconditional aid and sacrifice during the War, the Pentagon allowed the selling of 17 previously cancelled F-4E Phantom II (Serials 75-0638 - 75-0655*) to Thailand at a much lower price than eventually stated at the contract. F-4J - Royal Thai Navy, 301st Squadron F-4E - Royal Thai Air Force, 211th Squadron, 2nd Air Division, 21st Wing "Eagles" *http://cgibin.rcn.com/jeremy.k/cgi-bin/gzUsafSearch.pl?target=&content=F-4E

Hello all you great guys from CA! Would it be possible to implement some kind of popup showing the receiver of a PM that he has received one? It sometimes happens that I send PMs and answers take ages (my own impression ) because the guy I sent the PM to did not see it. If it is not possible, then nevermind. -
I wanted to get myself enlisted too, but my parents were not ok with that. At the age of 16, I had my first medical exmaination at the closest consulate with military department and was regarded as able to do service in the air force after my conscription. At the age of 17, life double-crossed me forcing me to wear glasses. My parents didn't want me to enter the army but to get my university-entrance diploma first. And after that, I already had a contract for apprenticeship in the industry. If I could turn back time, I would not listen to my parents and get myself enlisted since I think that I'd have had a great time with my comrads serving for my country. If there is a chance for you to become a pilot, I would do that if I were you. Becoming a pilot was always a wish from me. So I wish you all the best of luck compañero.

Help ME Mod
ValAstur replied to Salvo1o's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Keep your money! A soon as the download section is back online, you'll be able to download all needed files which include all necessary info for how to install and make them run with your game. Just be a bit more patient. -
I think the only way is deleting the entire Thirdwire folder in the program folder, removing this way the patched cat-files and then re-install from the last working build, which was May 2013 I think. The problem is to obtain those installers, since TK automatically updates them as well. After installing, I think that faking to have the most up to date version would be the option. Inside the mod folder is the version.ini. I'm not sure but I think that it would work if you change the installed version build (let's say May 2013) to the most current build (e.g. July 2013). I imagine that by doing this, the game does not update. But it's only speculation. Maybe anybody else has a better idea.

Dassault Mirage F-1O, RAAF, 1983 Used TMF's F-1 for this "temporary" plane. I think that, as soon as the new one is ready, I'll be able to create a better one. This plane was requested by Stratos. Somehow, he always has some great ideas for what-ifs! -

As I already said in another thread: You have my deepest respect and I really really really really... appreciate your effort in getting this site runnin'. I hope you did not feel offended by my last statement since it was never meant to urge things. If it was misunderstood: I apologize for that. Great job Erik! -

Any news on the progress? I don't want to bother or to haste somebody. Just a question. I'm sure Erik's doing his best! -

Don't be offended but just because you didn't have had problems with your hadrware so far does not necessarily mean that they couldn't exist. -

Maybe if you post your specs like CPU and GPU brand, driver version and OS you are running the game on? Some freezes tend to happen using a determined kind of hard- and/or software. Eventually there are more experiencing the same problem using same hard- and/or software. -
Both pilots safe. IAF speaks of engine malfunction. http://www.timesofisrael.com/air-force-jet-crashes-off-gaza-coast/

I also wanted to express my gratitude and respect towards Erik for all the effort he is putting into the renewal of this site which started as a mere download site for SFP1 objects (I mean for me personally - no confusion please) and has evolved to a very important site of my internet life (if we want to call it like that). I hope that this page stays online for a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time for everybodys enjoyment. I will renew my subscription as soon as possible... I promise. And I'm happy that Erik is doing this, otherwise I'm pretty sure that it would take the usual "two weeks"...
