  1. That's odd. Check for "F-16A Luftwaffe". Do you have SF2 Israel?
  2. F/A-16DM - Brazilian Air Force Maybe our brazilian friends can tell me, if the planename would be written with a dash or without, since I have no knowledge about it.
  3. View File [Fictional] General Dynamics F-16A Luftwaffe Fictional mod of the stock F-16A Netz to make it look like a fictional fighter plane for the west german air forces. It shall depict a bird that could have entered service in the german air forces if the military had not had the "double-engine doctrine" caused by the high losses inflicted by the Starfighter (or "Widowmaker"; nickname from the german pilots). YOU WILL NEED SF2:I AT LEAST TO GET THIS PLANE RUNNING! INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the folders into your Objects folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes. The bavarian flag from the JBG 32 can be removed by just deleting the entries in the "decals.ini" in the folder "JBG 32". Just delete "bavarianflag" or you won't see the subsequent decals! CREDITS Big Thanks to Thirdwire for the games and the superb models they have. I also have to thank PraetorH for his help in modelling this unlikely but at least a bit realistic plane. Also thanks to Spinners. Without his help the decaling of the serial numbers would have taken ages. Kindest regards ValAstur Submitter ValAstur Submitted 03/26/2013 Category What If Hangar

  6. Yeah... All I can say is, that this "spring" how you call it definetely sucks. I work outside and this cold completely ruins everything. First of all my hands, then my mood. The only thing I could do now with this "spring" is: :minigun: @Gepard From which part of Germany are those pics? Just to be curious. In the Ruhrarea where I live we, fortunately, don't suffer from iced roads and masses of snow.
  7. F-16A - Marinefliegergeschwader 2 - German Navy I'm still thinking of adding some orange to the wingtips and the fuel tanks to give it a more similar appearance to the Marine Starfighters.
  8. Yep... otherwise our work would be futile...
  9. I created a full set of decals with the number 47 ranging from 47+01 to 47+99, which means that the plane will be introduced after the Tornado. Same means that the Norm 71 will be dropped and replaced by the upcoming Marineflieger skin in basaltgrau and lichtgrau
  10. Thanks my friend. Since it was a project only, I simply took the decals that already existed. But now I put so much time and effort in this baby that I think that I will release it. I'm even thinking of a Marineflieger skin for the MFG 2. Since you seem to be the prime source for german military aviation, you can maybe tell me the correct colors to use. Furthermore, I think I keep the Sparrows equipped. It adds some more firepower to the Falcon. But didn't the Phantoms use Sparrows?
  11. This one is really looking awesome! Hope there will be some nice templates...
  12. Hey Praetor I gave it a try painting the F-16 in Norm 81B camo for the JG 74. Hope you like the result. As stated before, the Falcon is "flat" compared to the Phantom, thats why there are no brighter surfaces on the upper side.
  13. Absolutely yes! Looking forward to it!
  15. Hmmm...don't understand that. The western german air force had several single engined fighter planes in her brief history: F-86 Sabre, F-104 Starfighter G-91 Gina... so why not the F-16? And... this is still a "what-if" section
  17. @PraetorH I'll give it a try. When the skin is finished, I'll post some pics then.
  18. What camo would you especially recommend then? I would create another skin for a third JBG or JG using your recommendation then. The problem is, that the Falcon does not have the shape of the Phantom such as upper intakes and so on.
  19. F/A-16DZ - South African Air Force - 2nd Squadron With the enormous success the F/A-16 is having in usually non-Viper using countries, some of the nations using them decided to upgrade their Vipers... such as the Netherlands F/A-16D - Royal Netherlands Air Force - 312 Squadron
  20. Thanks for the advice. So the first camo would be the correct one then, right? Nevertheless I think that the Falcon is looking nice in Norm 83...
  21. F/A-16D - Spanish Air Force - Ala 14 Finally I got the ol' lizard skin prepped. Hope you like it. F/A-16FJ - 501st Hikotai
