Also thanks to the Flight leaders today. I know everyone just wants to be the fighter jock. But someone's gotta lead the dogs around.

Before you lift off from the field its always a good idea to look for your flight leader. If you're in a Dr1, Alby or Pfalz find out who is leading that group and stick with them. Today I let RedDog do all the navigation and just followed tucked under his wing. It "IS" very difficult to regroup with the flight once you get lost, most of the flight is spent simply following the leader. But well worth it if you run into the enemy to be with friends than all alone. Even if you could overcome 5-1 odds, no one is around to confirm your scores. As for the FPS thing. Last week I had similar issues with lower fps. I just dropped all of my sliders 1 notch and my fps went up by about 15 today. Thats a start anyway, tough to fly and be combat effective with fps i know. If you can swing it, try to hook up with the group on tuesday for some formation flying and nav training. I'll be there for sure. S!

Thanks again to Vasco for hosting another great campaign Sunday. I got a frozen screen (as did a few others) on the first mission, but more than likely saved me from myself geting low and slow with all those neuports on the deck. For me the second mission was smooth as silk. Great FPS throughout and managed an rtb! (campaign first!) And the flight knocking down 10 enemy craft with the loss of only one of ours (flak or bug? not sure what was the final word on axe's plane) was icing on the cake. Vasco mentioned ealier in the afternoon that the Pfalz crew were of the top scoring pilots of the sqn so I winged up with RedDog and Dudly for the second go around and what do ya know! We ran into a flight of unescorted RE8s. And while flying top cover as they knocked out observation balloons I ran into another flight of 3 more RE8s that the triplanes were chasing down. I will most definitely be hangin around with you Pfalz chaps for our next mission. Also the patience of the bunch today was fantastic. We had a few people needing tech support(including me with mismatch planes DOH!) and ya'll were johnny on the spot with the help as always! I think we managed to get EVERYONE in after some quck tweaks and patches. Most fun i've had flying OFF so far. And I fly alot. S! Mack-

I second that Kingkat! Great missions today. With the second mission being a total waxing of the allied air. 10 enemy aircraft shot down at the end of the tally I believe! Excellent work and more fun than a couple barrel of monkeys named Bubbles.

I have yet to fly a mission i didnt enjoy online. Although i must say i do prefer the ones that start out on the field. I tend to shed a wing or two on the "in air" starts.

Ill be there on Sunday to be sure Axe! It's tuesday ill miss. I need some practice still in those bosche scouts. Going to take the week to practice my DVa skills. As it stands, 1v1 I'm fodder in the alby. At least I can say that i didnt get "Shot down" in either mission though hehe.

I ended both missions yesterday by collision. I need to learn to give the enemy thier personal space.

Fire up TS. Connect to the blackhaze ts. (its the one we use) click on the "Over flanders fields briefing" channel. and there should be a link in the info box to the right.

Maybe just one more small patch for all the individual pilot skins. The boys have done a fantastic job in skinning these crates and cracking the code to allow each pilot to fly his own personal plane. But thats a really small file that is DL and installed in a few seconds. Should be good to go otherwise.

Heya fellas. Just wanted to ask a quick question about the campaign missions ya'll do on sundays. I flew a couple missions with axe and company using the skins from your online jasta and it seems that everyone pretty much has an assigned craft. As far as the new recruits go what bird would I be goin up in? I'm very unfamilar with the german crates and would love to get some practice. Thanks in advance and will be seein ya on sunday!

GREAT fun tonight ! Thanx axe for hosting. Some cool missions, and some firsts for me. Had never flown the EIII before, and i might not ever again. Grumpy and myself straffing enemy destroyers, what a hoot!
