I downloaded the A-12 Avenger II ( Flying Dorito ) from here: http://www.checksix-fr.com/bibliotheque/index.php?Fichier=5367 Is a pretty cool aircraft once you use the F-15E cockpit and avionics ( or any other modern Strike A/C cokcpit ) but it have some problems, for example as you can see in the pic, weapons shadow is visible when plane shadow is not, it also flyes strangely, you need to keep your speed high, and that sounds strange to me, as the Avenger II was planned to be a carrier based aircraft!! Will be cool If someone can check this problems and fix them. P.S. No working lights either.

I'm spanish and all this sounds a bit away from our every day problems. BUT I feel every word on this post as I apreciatte that American soldiers ( together with spanish, british, french and a bunch of other nations ) are defending MY country and MY freedom too. We will never thank this guys enough for his sacrifices. So My deepest respects! S!

Read on a spanish article what the plane was projected to do and the problems that caused his cancellation, couldn't resist to take her on a spin. Very cool aircraft, a great addition for a Military Flight Sim. Hint Hint ;)

You're right, the A-12 is available here: http://www.checksix-fr.com/bibliotheque/index.php?page=list&r_categorie=S.F. Project 1&r_type=all&p=4 It have some control, skin and cockpit problems, but looks pretty cool, a nice companion for the Advanced Tomcat!!

Some time ago discovered some pics of a strange F-15 variant with angled vertical Stabs ( ala F/A-18 ), but I can't find this planes on the download section, can someone tell me If this plane is already released or If is still a WIP please? Thanks BTW, is that thing a ficitonal plane?

Hello! I bought the game back when it was released ( OFF ), I enjoyed but I miss something, and thats the customizable quick missions. I have no time to fly campaigns and will like to create things like, take off, fly a patrol over the front and find the enemy, or take off, attack a enemy airfield and get back! Is that possible? or am I stucked with the campaign and the enemy flying directly over my airbase?

Feel that the torque is a bit exagerated, I'm using the Peter new FM, all set to HARD, so, is possible to turn down the torque for the planes and still use the rest of the HARD features? Hope is possible to qut the torque effect editing something in the DATA file. Possible?

What is the blip switch? I'm learning to fly Light Sport aircraft ( under 450kg ) and Torque is not a serious issue of course you fell it when accelerating or decelarating, but nothing really serious

Yes, but you can't fly an entire mission, take off, patrol the front and back, you alwyas find the enemy flying over your head :(

Really? And how you take off? Even with Peter01's FM I'm having serious problems during the take off runs, my plane always try to kill me during the take off, the wing dropping to the ground and the plane flying in every possible direction but the one I want. Ok, maybe is a problem of training lack, will continue a bit with this torque. Thanks!

Got it working, the only problem is that only Dogfight missions are possible, I can't program intercepts, or ground attacks... can you confirm If I'm right?

Really looking forward to this great improvement!! Hope is ready for the weekend. BTW, maybe a terrain guru can move the Germans to the west and the "allies" to the east so with a good texture set we can have a Eastern theatre for WW1??

I'm just reinstalling FE and the expansion, should I wait for your release of the terrain? Will be out in a "real" week??

I'm getting this error If I try to fly in Quick Combat: Error Updating Config Override Settings- File does not exist - Reinstall OFF! C:\Documents and Settings\Jordi\Datos de programa\Microsoft\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\ConfigOverrides.xml And is true, this file is not there. Can soemone upload his file somewhere so I don't need to do the complete reinstall please?

Got bit by the WW1 fever and will like to know which are the best mods for FE game. I have the original game plus the expansion and will like specially more terrain options, something like Stary works for SF series but on the WW1 terrain Thanks in advance!
