  1. And I thought that only in Portugal would happen all theses craps. This reminds me that our Europe, our economic system, our political system is in the right path to collapse. Our system is far from being ruled by the people to the people. This. And don't look back, Si.
  2. Thanks for sharing, elephant.
  3. At sale in Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/ And Las Vegas with all DLC for 15€. It's quite tempting.
  4. You're not alone, tranquilo. Between modding and playing there's not much time for the rest. We already have some mods avaialable. Namely Afrika Korps mod, new campaigns, cosmetic mods and the Grand Campaign DLC, which when completelly finished it will have around 80 scenarios. Afrika Korps mod:
  5. A happy Thanksgiving day to everyone.
  6. Right as usual, Hasse.
  7. Panzer Corps it's on sale until 8th January. 50% cut in the price. And don't think that the game ends with vanilla campaign. You've multiplayer, mods and now extra DLC. On the third scenario, don't forget to use the Bridge Engineers Unit over the river hexe.
  8. Once you get it, it won't left you anymore. Feel free to ask anything.
  9. It's easy to lose the sense of time. That was the feeling of Panzer General. It's just one more turn, and when you look it's 3 o'clock in the morning. Did you find it hard? At what level did you played? Have you ever played Panzer General?
  10. Next gentleman, please.
  11. Panzer Corps it's a WW2 turn based wargame, in a beer and pretzels style. It's source of inspiration was SSI's Panzer General, which ended up in being a classic PC game. For those who want to try out, there's a demo version, in English and German (that's for you Olham). This is the only game that I've been playing in the last 4 months. It's addictive and funny. Here are some links to download the demo: http://www.patches-scrolls.de/panzer_co ... hp#demo104 http://www.gamershel...oad_82572.shtml http://worthplaying..../21/demo/84173/ http://www.atomicgamer.com/files/94562/ ... demo-v1-04 http://www.slitherin...pic.php?t=29868
  12. Oh, but it is. I don't think it's the second coming of Christ, but surely it's a good game. And really justifies the price. I've been in the first dungeon, and it was really nice. If what they say it's true, that this is not like in DA2, a copy and paste style dungeons, then I can't wait to see more. Only the UI, is still making me crazy after 6 hours of playing. Even my mouse, sometimes, seems to give up, and have to restart the game again. And not being able to redefine all the keys properly, it's unbelievable. I wonder what they will do with next week patch. But I think they won't touch much on UI, unfortunately. Anyway it's worth the price , Olham.
  13. I don't recommend to anybody to buy graphic cards in second hand. We never know how far they were pushed and overclocked. Unless if it comes, from a reliable source.
  14. But yes, of course you're right, almccoyjr. In the good old days, it wasn't a good time. Because people still had some money after Christmas and they would still buy computers. Most of the big brands were out of stock and expecting for new models in January. Also to buy between October and December were the worst months to buy anything related with computers. The prices were naturally inflated. But that was in Portugal and in the good old days. Now I don't have a clue. But because, even with the harder times hitting a lot of people, still there must exist a little more demand then in other seasons of the year.
  15. Anyway the ideal: You can exchange GTX560 for GTX550. Exchange ASUS P8P76 PRO for ASUS P8P67. You can easily overclock this machine if needed. Which can extend PC life in terms of performance. In that case I would stay with PRO version of the board, because, usually are better for oveclock. The budget: No need to go for Corsair PSU, of course, only, it's more reliable than one of those Chinese cheap PSUs. It's a way of protecting your investment. I don't know how much does it cost in UK, but these are just suggestions. I'm an Intel guy, so for AMD I don't know what to suggest.
  16. £500 with OS included?
  17. It seems already someone modded a Death Star.
  18. True. And also, give some power to the user to do most of what he want to do, the way he wants. Easy friendly systems, they just take out that power from the user, and are tuned to the lowest common denominators, which are those with less ability to use their brain cells.
  19. Not in Guru3D or other forums that I mention. They are hardcore PC players. That doesn't mean, of course, that everybody will experience the same stuttering.
  20. Many gamers are reporting bad stuttering and low frame rate. I've seen this mentioned in guru3D and other forums. It seems to be more related with ATI gamers. Maybe the next ATI drivers, help to solve things. It's a pity there's no demo available.
  21. From what I read from other PC players, it wasn't the best port for PC. It suffers from performance issues. It's a shame, because I just love James Ellroy books.
  22. One more for James McCudden.
  23. Ahah. Hellshade, I received the copy only today. I've only opened a few minutes ago. It brings a map. Nice. I'm in no hurry. I've to finish my Panzer Corps mod first. But I'll promise you'll be the first to know.
