  1. Widow; I can't get sweetfx to work on my system (AMD 7870). Here are the instructions I followed to a T http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3892224/Re_DirectX_8_to_9_converter_th#Post3892224 and here is my results. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3892271/Re_DirectX_8_to_9_converter_th#Post3892271 Anybody have any ideas if this works with AMD 7870 or what I'm doing wrong.
  2. Widow; I'm a big Camel fan and have a few skins from OFF I would like to bring over to WOFF. I would appreciate knowing what "Tweaks" I should be looking to make for the Camel skins.
  3. Hi Widow; Maybe you could tell us what aircraft types you have been successful with. It might help all who have concern. I suspect the camel is ok.
  4. I have posted this over at SIMGQ with a link back here so hopefully we will all find out soon. UPDATE 2014-01-05 @ 08:12 hrs Winding Man has responded to your ? over a SIMHQ. Here is the link: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3889842/Re_which_craft_models_from_OFF#Post3889842
  5. I probably can't help you with this, but If you have made any hardware or software changes since it last ran successfully, you might want to look into that as the possible problem. It would help to identify anyghing of this nature for anyone who may be able to help you on this. Since you mention it may be memory related, try running a memory integrity check on your system
  6. Wayfarer; Can you answer a few ?'s as I'm not clear about your message. I take it you were running CFS3/OFF before successfully, so did you do a re-install or something? Have you specified "Run as administrator" in the properties for CFS3? This might explain the access violation. (just a hunch).
  7. Last I heard on the WOFF forum on simhq is that the devs have removed the "HA" in one of their patches.
  8. Well with that elucidating reply I will take your advice and check it out with Pol. And now I will go pour myself two fingers of Aberfeldy 12 single malt with a splash of crystal spring water and toast to you for all you have accomplished to date on that map! .
  9. So, with that said Lou, would you say that your map could be scaled to match the ingame map or is there more to it than that, such as the placement of the structures on the map. Oh and by the way, I hope you got that drink at the canteen. Cheers Mate!
  10. Lot's of ?'s and no answers! Lou must be in the canteen having a pint with his mates!
  11. Thanks Lou; I responded to your post on SimHQ. I will repeat my ? here. What font and font size did you use for text in the map?
  12. Folks; I have been flying camel missions with no difficulty keeping up. I have auto mixture turned on. Shiloh, when you have this problem try turning auto pilot on to see if he can catch up. It is worth the experiment. try (Ctrl+Shift+A) to turn it on and off. Let us know your findings. That should identify whether or not it is an FM problem. I suspect it's not FM. Cheers
  13. I can't watch that without tearing up! It's hard to believe that it really happened but we all know it did. To think that if it had happened all along the front and all the soldiers put down their arms for good the war would have been over.
  14. How very moving and appropriate as we approach 2014, 100 years ago the story was a reality and one not to be forgotten!
  15. Wishing you good health in 2014 and a successful pre-emptive surgery. I wish you and all your family a very Merry Christmas as well. KEEP UP THE FAITH MATE!
  16. Gives a whole new emphasis to "fly by" before setting down, doesn't it!
  17. From me to you all ...... the same!
  18. Olham...I thought F12 was for centering your view with TrackIR! Shiloh; Great shots of the night mission. You do have to wonder why they are sending flak bursts up at your SE5. Guess it's because it's dark and they can't decipher if you are friend or foe.
  19. Ah gee...I missed this ritual just when I needed it most... (the free toast rounds). You see...I was WOFF base helping Lou remove a fence post from his as.. (I mean carburetor). You know how Lou loves those farm fences!
  20. Capt, n I wish u and your a very merry Xmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year. I sure hope you get WOFF up and running because it is amazing and so Immerive.
  21. Last I heard, Lothar moved somewhere in Washington State on a new Job and is probably so busy he has no time for the forum I guess. Hopefully he will show up again.
  22. Lou; A rather massive undertaking so I hope it proves useful after all the effort. I rather think you are a glutton for punishment. Oh and don't forget to model those farm fences in it! Olham; I completely agree with you on your points. The in game map is esthetically the weakest link in WOFF. After using Lothars maps in OFF it is hard to adjust to such basic a map as WOFF has and it weakens the immersion. I'm sure th Devs are aware of it and will likely replace it with a mod of fix some time soon. Cheers Mate
  23. Well articulated Javito, and might I add that you could easily burn a tank of gas for the cost of WOFF.
  24. Ahmen to that!! Hate to see such a good thing fade away!! It would be disgusting
