  1. I've had a weird love affair with this skin, I've always liked it despite it being USMC...
  2. To add to the above most games don't recognize the stick if you plug it in after starting the game.
  3. The Hawk is nice, and the startup sequence isn't hard to learn either. Overall it's a nice plane.
  4. I've noticed that with the SF2 versions, and doing a DACT with the Su-27/33 at least against a Sabre that while probably the same, is no joke either.
  5. I honestly haven;t touched it in a month or two, Korean War and prior don't interest me that much anymore, I'm a bit spoiled with modern-era stuff
  6. That's beautiful... makes me think I texture in crayons...
  7. Well, I'm sure somebody will come along and be impressed.
  8. DCS: World, it has the Su-25T for FREE as a "bonus" and is a fairly good aircraft. Not as cool as the A-10C, but it packs a punch.

I can't say I disagree with you on their quality, as while the Hawk is a nice plane it needs to be fixed and improved. But I don't see the post as unreasonable but the first thing to try is deal with the community and do any sort of popular mod, such as bringing an aircraft into DCS, or Arma 3 (create a really good mod) and you'll see how vociferous people can get. I mean I have to be real assertive all the time in some cases in order to shut people up. And to be honest with you I thought the Falcon 4 community was rabid, i guess it's DCS now. Hell I've been doing mods for nearly 15 years and I don't want to go back on the ED Forums again because of that factor.

Tha's one thing as a modder sometimes hates and really hated about the ED Forums. People telling you what you already know, offering sensitive material when it's clearly stated you're not going to do so, or your project won't due to it being sensitive material. People constantly offering "help" when you know it's not, they just want to be part of the "action" but doesn't want to do any of the work. The list is endless.
  11. If you check the Downloads section there might be a template available. If not then maybe somebody can help you, as you'll need a specific template given the various versions available.
  12. DCS JFO/JTAC-Pilot Guide: http://562.50megs.com/562nd/DCS-JFO-JTAC-Pilot-Guide.pdf DCS Ironhand Guide http://562.50megs.com/562nd/DCS%20Ironhand%20Guide.pdf DCS Skinning Guide TBA
  13. Once its approved, added Interpretation to the DCS Skinning Guide.
  14. Okay in light of recent events and not so much a dig on people, but right now I'm not keen on allowing the Super Hornet Package for Strike Fighters 2 to be on the CombatAce Freeware License Agreement anymore. Yeah ED spooked the shit out me I'll admit but I don't need people sending me stuff and contain Things That Don't Belong In It, namely sensitive, classified information. I live a fairly lame life, and I'm not preferring to spend the rest of it in jail. While I can't control End User modification overall I can't trust people anymore to modify work that my name is under. I do appreciate the help here and there, but if I'm seeing stuff that doesn't agree with me, breaks stuff that works (Use the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rule, i.e. if the shit works, then don't fucking mess with it) then I can't let people "Feel the need" to help out. Yes I know there is good intentions and I respect that, but I just don't have the time or inclination to have to always fix shit that worked for years. Is the data correct? No of course not but I don't have any desire in people messing with stuff that worked before. So if you're going to recommend modifying my shit, send the appropriate files, NOT THE WHOLE MOD for my review in hopes of shit falling through the cracks. I don't have time for stuff like this. Some stuff yes, is my fault but overall I shouldn't have to redo shit that worked for years. I just don't see any logic in that approach anymore.
  15. Okay cool (took it from my EPE version, which shows that I don't use the gun that much) I'm sure people can figure it out, such as open the appropriate data.ini: //MinExtentPosition=-20.0,-11.632,-19.716 //MaxExtentPosition=20.0,28.368,20.284 But I'll upload a fixed version later.
  16. Before the demise of the Super Hornet project it was communicated to me that License Agreements will not be given do to the sensitive nature of that aircraft (all three versions) as well as things like the F-35, F-22, etc. due to that "sticky" issue of classified systems that DCS can model. So they're just trying to legally cover their ass so to speak from anybody injecting sensitive information and causing unnecessary drama. I'm sure the F1 may be a bit "safer" due to it being older. Sure you can go on WikiLeaks and find that information but do you want to be liable for a government knocking down your door? No neither do I. So overall if they get a License Agreement it would be deemed "okay" for them to go ahead on the project as well as sell it (for the SUper project I couldn't sell it due to no License Agreement, etc.). I'm sure there are more reasons other than just that of course but that's what I'm aware of anyway.
  17. Okay looks like tomorrow I'll upload the fixed files, or I'll try tonight and hopefully it'll upload fine... Failing that tomorrow for sure. Colmack started on the VFA-111 and I'll start PMing you stuff soon, at least by tomorrow.
  18. No problem man, I'll upload the ini fixes later on to the main pack that's in the Downloads section though.
  19. Fixed, again... Colmack give me a day or two and I'll get to that, eventually. Super Hornet INI Update Package 4.7z
