  1. Well whenever Coretex gets the Super released I'll get it for sure, but hands down I do like DCS over SF2, but given the lack of attention I've let it fall by the wayside since it's only fun for DACTs. I haven't touched it as much lately (Arma 3 has my focus, along with DCS again, had too much going on to focus on two at once) or thought about it, but it's still installed.
  2. Having done a lot of DACTs I just assume they're trying to force an overshoot while doing that. I've seen the same plane porpoise (on porpoise) and fly normal given different flight regimes, or during different states. It really could be something but that's how I approach it anyway.
  3. Yeah having been on the inside the stuff has to be declassified or not classified. Anything with even a Confidential level (or foreign equivalent) is not touched. At the least they may have access but realistically its not a military simulator, so no classified material, which is the reason why some projects can't be done to their true capability. Even for my JTAC manual I had to make sure the Laser Cone was publicly described in order for me to put it. Suffice to say if you can find the material without going to WikiLeaks or equivalent, you're safe.
  4. My sig? Thanks! It does look awesome really, the sun effects on the ramp is one of things that sold me, looks real as hell.
  5. As they say SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
  6. File Name: Su-25 United Nations [Fictional] File Submitter: EricJ File Submitted: 21 January 2015 File Category: Su-25 Skins This was a request and he said it was okay to make it public. Nothing too special as the aircraft is all white with some weathering to break up the color. Other than that it's fairly simple, and with the Su-25 select "Su-25 UN" in the drop down menu for the Paint scheme. Click here to download this file
  7. I guess, I like and prefer the -25T more than the normal Frogfoot, I'm a precision weapons kind of guy and suck with visual targeting and engagement, one of the reasons I don't fly the Su-33 much anymore. It doesn't have that capability so not interested.

  9. Yeah even the PM conversation (SkateZilla) I've had with him he's been real busy himself. Now that my personal life will settle down hopefully I can refocus back on doing stuff again.
  10. Fair enough I guess but still it's able to be done. I mean SkateZilla was able to program the electrical system. There's little documentation but i do have a linky if anybody's interested, but overall it won't be too hard to implement avionics, but the issue is of course classification which is of course a major issue with any modern aircraft.
  11. I've been talking to SkateZilla about me possibly getting a team for a Super Hornet since Coretex is dragging serious ass on it. I got the requirements and honestly a Falcon has crossed the mind but then again the F4 guys would have aneurysms once that was ever announced. "WHAT!?!?!?!? IT'S NOT BETTER THAN OURS!" I mean even at the Flaming Cliffs level it still would be enough to keep people happy. The Su-25T while nowhere near capable, does have enough functionality tor it to be flown and operate a targeting pod even with that lower level of capability compared to a 6DOF jet.
  12. I didn't release it because you requested it. So if you want me to I can, but I sent you the link so you could download it last week.
  13. Still stuck with some personal issues. I want to do another What If for the -25T, based on the "Peanut" scheme for that aircraft. Sometime though...
  14. Coretex is doing the E for DCS, and the VRS Super Bug isn't "combat" or as high fidelity as any real combat sim, but overall its going to be done... sometime (DCS F/A-18E).
  15. File Name: Su-25 European 1 Blank File Submitter: EricJ File Submitted: 14 January 2015 File Category: Su-25 Skins Su-25 European 1 Blank Skin A blank skin for you to modify and at the minimum credit me of my work and that’ll be good for me. To install extract the folder to the DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries\Su-25 and in the Su-25 Payload Scheme (set for Russia by default) and select “European 1” Click here to download this file
  16. Okay... I was a Valued Member earlier today, now Senior Member, and now Elite... weird but not complaining either. Managed to get the nose area sorted out (4096 x 2048!!!!) to a decent condition given the different mapping:
  17. Okay more work on the tail area, adapting it for the specific frame as opposed to the -25T:
  18. Okay more work, and showing the difference in mapping as opposed to the -25T:
  19. And beginning work on the Su-25. So far it's easier due to the general similarities between the 25T and the reg'lar Su-25.
  20. I've had some personal issues come up which not bad, is distracting me from doing any kind of modding in general. So I'm just planning on riding out the change until I can refocus back, which more or less will be tomorrow or so. It's been a very interesting weekend so tomorrow I hope to get back to the European 1 Su-25.
  21. For those who have downloaded the above, I noticed an issue with the "true" and "false" statements with the description.lua for these entries as they need to be set to true (as in below): {"su25t-gear-metal", 0, "SU39-PAINT7-USAFFT", true}, {"Su-25t-gear-steel", 0, "SU39-PAINT7-USAFFT", true}, {"Su-25t-gear-rubber", 0, "SU39-PAINT7-USAFFT", true},
  22. I use Shadow Play and it's been fairly reliable in the past. I tried FRAPS but it kept not working with Movie Maker that Shadow Play is my choice.
  23. Yeah because I rarely get an FPS hit (I don't go ultra but I like my jets as high as possible, they ALL have to look good ) with SF2 and quite frankly could use more tweaking but overall still good enough for producer work
