  1. Looking good actually. Are you planning on doing current and future Vipers? There's this article about the new electronics suite: https://theaviationist.com/2024/10/29/f-16-ivews-first-flight/

EricJ Weapons Pack RC111 - Fixed a missed CfgPatches error https://drive.google.com/file/d/10HYXDvpM_aGA_ddOzWJnd9btP7d2D3B3/view?usp=sharing
  3. According to some people the images were off, but for one project I did for somebody he approved of it, so there's that. But I hate creating new topics because I have my own topic and feel it's better to ask there as somebody will see it. But as DA suggested, finding modeling sites and color profiles will work, or even some of the birds here as the scheme appears to be the same overall.
  4. It's a good thing you're a moderator Stratos, as Wrench would chime in on "why are you necrothreading" lol

ADuke Kiowa Warrior Alpha AC21 - Shells now eject from the M3P - Shadow LODs fixed

Just a note, for some reason I deleted the "m468_co.paa" file in some way or other. It's a known issue that the Barrett M468 in the mod (I think it's cursed now), the main texture is missing. I checked all of my files on my external and nothing, so I emailed ADuke (who did the base texture) and hopefully he'll have one on hand to make it "work" again. But then again if somebody could texture it and so on, then I'm open to anybody who can reliably do it. It can be remapped so there's that.

EricJ Weapons Pack RC110 - Requires game version 2.18 - Fixed a slew of CfgPatches errors stemming from some wrong entries, problem should be fixed. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10Gh0hQXMS3t38jtdvxmVLEWsQ66YBv7I/view?usp=sharing
  8. I think with the success of the DACT reports a little more can be centered on the mud moving aspect of the series. Like the DACT reports, actual techniques/evaluations of weapon systems can be done as well... it's against threat systems but there's little ground covered by the mud mover side of the house. Like the DACT reports, it is not year specific but since this is A2G it'd fit in more and maybe help the novice mud mover in trying to figure out a particular weapon or system in order to understand it better.

Just so you know, I did try to do an autonomous UH-60, given the program that is being worked on. I don't know what utility it may have, but I did try it with it able to carry passengers. Apparently BIS doesn't like that, so I stopped working on it. I could just make it a regular UAV (if anybody is interested I can do that) with better cargo lifting weight, but as far as an autonomous troop carrier, no bueno. Other than some small things, work on the EricJ Helicopter Pack is something I'm finding less and less to think of and do. Work on the Kiowa is still sporadic, and I think I need to make the brass fall out when it fires, as I noticed the muzzle smoke just forward of the canopy when I fired it, or at least change the cartridge to better reflect the actual as close as possible shell size so it looks believable. Mostly the Need To Do work is on the Gatling barrels for the M197 and M134 pods for the MQ-17, that's about all I need to work on and figure out. If you know how to make the barrels rotate in the model.cfg for pod weapons, please let me know as I need to get those working, as everything is more or less working. There is an FM issue with the Kiowa, as a user found out that you can flip the helo backward and so on and various other settings. Overall, the flight model for the Kiowa is still WIP, and not a final form as I'm waiting on BradMick to release it so I can figure out how to implement it and no more issues. For now just take it easy while flying it, and you shouldn't have many issues doing anything. I'm also waiting on a texture PSD from ADuke (I found the original PSDs for the bird, so that's good), and hopefully, I can reliably get the color right in the future. Nothing else is planned and of course any requests either contact me here (I don't mind too many), through Discord or Steam, or carrier pigeon.

  16. I personally don't think A3 is that bad, and some DLCs like the helo, and Marksman were good, and I like playing it still, and when A4 comes out I'll be moving to that depending on how it works out, but good to know.
  17. Aside, I'm waiting for Arma 4 instead. As a modder I like some stability when modding
  18. Well my gaming laptop handles SF2 fine. I mean it's a bit wonky with some things but it runs fine as it comes, even with newer mods and bigger textures. Like I said upgrading would only fix the issue if it's a memory problem, regardless of card or whatnot. I can understand money issues but yeah, a 4GB card needs to be upgraded, regardless of how old it is. I honestly can't suggest otherwise with very old hardware, and upgrading it would solve the issue.
  19. I mean as mods come by more and more the larger the textures will be, so upgrading your video card will probably be needed at the minimum. I mean you can only hold on to it for so long before newer mods wreck it.
  20. Anything that TK decides to work on this game would bring anything sort of a fresh life into it. I gotta admit for a sixteen-year old game it still works and such, but expecting TK to get off his ass and actually implement (as well as a patch) would be nice, but don't get your hopes up. You're honestly better off playing on the mobile version if you want new stuff.

ADuke Kiowa Warrior Alpha AC17 - Removed access to BIS weaponry, limited to the weaponry it used in real-life
  22. EricJ Release Thread

Right now things are again at a dull roar. I've been dealing with some family issues at home so been somewhat busy as can be, but it's not too bad and things are going okay. Anyway, BradMick from the Project Hatchet should hopefully give up the HeliSim profile for the Kiowa, so I'll be learning how to integrate it into the helicopter. I'm thinking of just basic texturing the gun pod with the closest coloration that it had. As for the GAU-19 I'll get to it sometime pending reference shots and whatnot. Wiki shows no use of the ATAS so I may not do it. In a future update I'll be removing the BIS pylon weaponry and stick to operational use weapons, which will be pretty soon after this post probably, just to wean players off of it, unless there is a desire to keep it. Other helicopter news just doing some minor tweaks for the UH-92s, and adding some wire strike stuff to the MH-92s, so not much on that front. I did submit (and it's live) a Pilot UH-1Y mission to the Workshop, so if you enjoy that helo and want to fly it SP, then check it out sometime. Other than that not much else going on unless there are of course some requests I can furnish and the like
