  1. Not sure what the issue is, but it is in fact an issue, as I checked it out for myself. I'll let Kowalski/FC know and see if we can't get it fixed soon. I though it was a throttle issue on your stick, but it's repeatable on my end too.
  2. I gotta tweak it anyways, so I'll be sure to put that in the next update or tweak...
  3. Can't find SF2:E? http://www.thirdwire.com Click on "Store"
  4. Whoops! I think I actually may download the RB-57, it just looks cool. Sunset takeoff on my last leg of my unoficcial "Turkey Tour"
  5. Tor-M2E 58 photo's

It's also more than likely a logical development, because there are static versions, as well as if my mind serves right, trailer versions.
  6. RAAF Super Bug!

That's what it was, Four Corners interview that discussed the Super Hornet versus Sukhois.. As for AESA versus non-AESA? While the F-22/Super Hornet/Eagles and maybe later model Sukhoi's.. I doubt any so far can do this: http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2006/...-as-jammer.html So it's more special than most. Even the F-22. Of course that's a matter of tech transfer, but I don't see a Su-30 out radaring a Super Hornet, Raptor, or Eagle anytime soon until they develop their own. So with radars the Super Hornet is the way to go, as a 4++ will have slightly more capability than a fifth generation fighter.
  7. RAAF Super Bug!

Well it is... Carlo Kopp's "influence", however, I've read some articles on the Austrailian views on it and Say What?! is right, compared to a late model Sukhoi... no comparison and no way to say the Supa Bug would come out on top. But if you want to throw it against an MKM I'm sure the Bug will come out on top due to pilot proficiency versus technology, and the AESA is far more capable than any Zhuk out there. But then again the Aussies relied on the Legacy Hornet for interception and the Varks for strike... so I don't see the logic in saying the Super Bug is inferior when a Legacy Hornet doesn't have the legs of a Sukhoi. And the Rafale? Yeah it doesn't look good when the Indians boot it out of the competition and if my mind serves me right, didn't they let it back in?
  8. Oh and due to not checking.. there is the VFA-111 beta skin in the FA-18F directory. It's actually finished pending any recommendations.
  9. True true... those Archers? Why not use the -9X? Far more capable than that thing... And no problem... all you really have to edit on the .tga is the RGB channels, not so much the Alpha layer itself... been doing that for years. Matter of fact I'm going to apply that to my Bug skins..
  10. Strange aircraft sightings

An-124 and either an Afghan Army or Polish Mi-8/24 at Bagram, but then again the cosmopolitan nature of that place...
  11. What patch are you using? That may help, along with what aircraft too... As I've hadn't had too many problems using Sparrows in the rare event I use them..
  12. Heading out and working on the Saeqeh (really it's a WIP shot but it came out so nice I couldn't resist not uploading it).
  13. Like USAFMTL said, the SF2 engine puts more under the hood of the typical third-party addon, save the ones already redone. As known, the ability to have a custom texture for the drop tanks, so you don't need twenty of the same type for one bird, you only need one model, and the texture (as you'll see) in the aircraft texture folder. LOMAC had this capability (not sure how extensive as far as the 3D modelling is concerned) and something I liked, the ability to have squadron textures or if you're making a custom texture for the aircraft, you can actually make it custom textures and it'd actually "work" such as this prototype skin I started a week ago vice a VFA-105 skin, versus the SF1 version that's in my sig pic. Look at the droptanks, and the image above for the download. Same aircraft, just the ability to do things differently. Plus getting more in-depth with the radar functions, RWR is more graphically "newer" etc. Plus now once I get the next update (userlist) it will be limited to certain maps depending on how their setup. And if you look in the KB jomni, updating the Red jets to SF2 standards isn't too hard. May require more research, but this one is built off of that KB, and the results give it a more "fleshed out" feeling. And the changes are explained in the README.
  14. The Afterburner file is in there, in the "Effects" folder, simply copy it to User\Saved Games\Thirdwire\SF2. Sometimes it has a problem displaying it, so simply unzip it again, and copy and paste. Sometimes SF2 has that issue, as for the left side lights, I'll have to find out what texture it is.
  15. Regardless I got it working in SF2:E and it's nice
  16. I will I will! I have a texture issue, which I think is a decal one so I got to hit the KB. Failing that, I'll delete the decal needy skins (VFA-143, VAQ-129, and VFA-103). For the other two squadrons, SidDogg's is a good replacement for them anyways. But less than two weeks
  17. Okay after some INI tweakage... I think I got it good to go for SF2... I think. I got to add a few things, but overall.... it should be okay. Unlike the SF1, since I got a more reliable internet system, I'm going to upload as one big package, SF2 only. Right now as far as SF1/WoX... I still diddle with it, but since I'm now getting SF2 to where I had WoX, I'm going with the flow and going to start moving towards that direction. Have to give a thumbs up to MigBuster and his tutorials in the Knowledge Base, he truly made things work fine for SF2
  18. I was trolling through the SF2 KB for information, and happened upon MigBuster's Excellent postings on How To Get Things Working. Suffice to say, I pinned his topics so users can find the information alot faster, and not with the clutter on how topics get when alot of questions pop up. MigBuster, if needed, get with USAFMTL and see if he can switch topic control back to you so you can edit to your fancy, as I'm sure corrections and addendums will happen, but most impressive work!
  19. MigBuster is the force behind the tutorials, I only made them sticky topics in order to make it more accessible. When he posts his tutorial is when he posts his tutorial mate, I have no control over it.
  20. Well to be honest with you that was going to be a recommendation, more towns, some more stuff. It's a beautiful terrain to fly in, but the more eye candy, the merrier
  21. Hehe I think even with the staggering of dates, it doesn't seem to help... but it's always good to hear that my first campaign is a woozie... Honestly didn't expect it to be... but hey... And again thanks Spectre_USA and malibu43
  22. Unless somebody does it, I'll get it done this afternoon, but it's relatively simple. All somebody really has to do is edit the "CanopyGlass.tga" by opening an F-16 canopy texture and saving it as "CanopyGlass.tga". Only caveat it should look okay, or what you want. BTW nice skin And the F-7G is a pretty decent real world aircraft, far surpassing it's MIG-21 progenitor.
