  1. Trust me man, Dave has something lying around...
  2. Hmmmm... that is strange then.. because I do have Wp3... maybe an init issue, will check again. Nope, the 3D models are not there. It's for all the variants, not the KAB-500S.
  3. Double checked the zip file... the KAB-500 models are not there, just so you know
  4. Ahh gotcha. Open the Weapon Editor, then go to the WoI/Objects/Weapons folder (navigate through the weapons editor), and then it will only open the Weapondata.ini file. If you navigated right, a whole lot of weapons will be listed. Just click "Save", and as Specter_USA mentioned, the "Save" creates a new weapondata.dat file, close the weapon editor, and you should have a lot of weapons for your various aircraft. Note, that WoX series allocates weapons by year, so if I have a weapon that existed from 1963 to say... 2020 (for argument's sake), then whatever aircraft existed in that time period, the weapon will be available. It's a nice system, but you can always "what if" for various planes, like if you wanted a JDAM for a Vietnam-era aircraft, you'd have to double click the weapon name in the editor, and manually adjust the days so your fav plane could use it. Due to the way the Weapon Editor is setup, when you first start the WE, it'll create it's own folder, so if you want it in a specific place, then it'll be "set" there. Or wherever you first open it, it doesn't matter, as long as you know how to navigate to your Weapons directory.
  5. Actually.. having an issue... I'll redownload it but maybe something because when I first had it I had no problems, now just the KAB-500 series aren't working.
  6. What exactly do you mean? As far as the files for the tanks go? Or? Yes the Weapon Editor works with all four. TK does one thing right, is that despite the name.. all are virtually the same, so if you get one of the four, you can use all your mod tools for all four. Not sure about SF2, but that remains to be seen.

  8. Nice, just nice. I'd vote that for end of the year award
  9. You have to open the Weapon Editor, then save. Don't know why but that's how you get them, as you can see in the sig image.
  10. Bleagh, I bring him along for SEAD, CAS, and that's about it. The rest I can do myself. Danger Bering Straits where I do bring him for ANY mission, but then again he's good as a A2A platform, and not good since he can't use AMRAAMs (yeah I know, gonna have re-install WingWiner's AIM-120C, it's a beautious missile model). Hell before I hit the "Wall" in AmericaNW, I went low and fast, was being chased (I think) by MIG-23s. I managed to plaster two into the ground, and I hit a real bad part of the Wall and got myself. It was nice, a "five wet" A Hornet being chased by four Migs... yeah I went Winchester at the recon objective (had to get them off my back, so I feel you column5.... ) but man I had to move out of that place!
  11. Shoot it feels good to splash anything that's trying to shoot you down . One addendum though Lt. Carter. Fly DBS and you need to carry AAMs. That's the only map where AAMs balance out A2G ordnance. There's just no other way to get past that one though, and I don't try and dogfight it out, and quite honestly where I get most of my A2A kills anyways. And that's just doing Strike, Reconnaissance, or CAS missions. That I think is where the argument can be changed though...
  12. Agreed man, everybody thinks the "life" is flying around looking for planes to shoot down. Fact is right, if you're loaded for bear and about to drop alot of ordnance, the last thing you need is Blue/Red Air. I dodge the jokers like crazy. I managed to slip past four MIG-31s (thankfully I didn't add the AA-9s until afterwards), but everybody envisions a nasty dogfight when dropping ordnance. Not me bro, I drop and split. Which often times I carry one self defense AAM, ONE. Therefore I'm not in the mood to slug it out, and AMRAAMs in mountainous terrain just don't worky. So I slip in, drop and jet out of there. Okay if I reattack for a bad drop, natch, but after I get a mission successful I'm boogie nights my friend
  13. And on that note... is it me or just the Air Force A-7s had Mavericks? And not the Navy ones?
  14. SLUF. Dogfighting ability goes out the window when you're low and fast in a valley anyways. The Scooter just doesn't do it for me because you can't load the scooter up without sacrificing self defense AAMs. With the SLUF, I can load up ordinance to level a city, and still have something to defend myself with. Besides, if you do it right, you can sneak by most defenses if you terrain mask. I routinely fly (not the SLUF, never thought of it yet) in ANW, BlackSea and always snuck past or evaded SAM/AAA defenses. Sure okay, I've gotten sawed in an F-35 by AAA, but that's not very often So I would go with skill and knowing how to push the aircraft. And as far as the woman issue goes... the jury's out on that one, damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  15. Maybe too close for letting this go, but wasn't going to hang around either..
  16. http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-13.htm But I agree with zmatt, the onboard ECM on Erwin_Hans's F/A-18F seems to work when properly done right. But burn through does happen on occasion and always doesn't work. However, I too have noticed how AAA tends to fire at me alot more in the F-35 than in most other aircraft. And the only thing to do about the fuel issue is to bring tanks. I carry two at the minimum. For the Black Sea terrain I bring five for long distance runs. Still need to get that refueller mod though.
  17. Yep, that answered a question... gonna have to wait and see how this develops. May switch over, but not yet..
  18. I'm really not sure if Steamer visits this place anymore, due to the lack of MP with the Third Wire series of sims, so I'm going to just close this topic. However, he does AFAIK work with the VNAO team, http://www.carrierpilots.com
  19. I definitely had to approve this one, great work man
  20. Well if the skinning process doesn't take forever, then it could be less than two weeks.
