  1. Came across some EA-18G decals, and the resolution is good enough to work with. First is the replacement of the old VAQ-130 skin that was "default" for the download:
  2. Nice work though I'll take the hookers instead of blackjack, never was good at cards.
  3. View File EA-18G VAQ-134 CAG May 2020 This represents the VAQ-134 "Garudas" CAG bird in May 2020. Unzip the file to a folder and then drop in your EA-18G folder and go fly. Select VAQ-134 CAG May 2020 from the drop down list and go fly. Submitter EricJ Submitted 05/18/2023 Category F-18

  5. Finished, uploading and waiting for authorization:
  6. Next up is a WIP VAQ-134 CAG in May 2020:
  7. As Svetlin said it's the US Navy Test Pilot School, where they train people to be test pilots. It's actually here: https://www.navair.navy.mil/nawcad/usntps No problem!
  8. Nah I have the USN letters, but it didn't look right. I used a British (I think it was) to get the font at least looking close to it, and seems good enough for government work.
  9. View File F/A-18F Block II USNTPS skin This is just a skin of 00 of the US Navy Test Pilots School. Simply drop in your FA-18F_BlkII folder and go fly. It can be found under USNTPS in the drop-down menu. Submitter EricJ Submitted 05/17/2023 Category F-18

  11. Found a close enough font to work with the USNTPS. Next is the numbering and then uploading it.
  12. Yeah, though we'll see as I don't know the font offhand. I doubt NAVAIR would tell me.
  13. Agreed, I think the hardest thing to do now is the "USNTPS", I think I may Times New Roman for the font as it's not LongbeachUSN
  14. Work so far. I may not be able to show the process but this is what you get with good, efficient mapping of a model. It was relatively painless getting it done too:
  15. Starting it. Since my computer doesn't have a print screen button (you know right? Amazing) I finally figured out how to use LODviewer to refresh the skin so I don't have to get back into the game and back again. Anyway here's an initial lay of the orange line:
  16. Yeah, you give it a transparent texture on the mesh to make it transparent. That's the only way I know how.
  17. Honestly I didn't know it existed and I'm sure I can do one.
  18. I didn't think to load another map and fly around that one, just created one and it blacked out on me, but loaded fine (I would think) so I don't think the map likes me or I just gotta go somewhere else first, but will try that though, thanks!
  19. Yeah me neither. Maybe it was just how I was making the mission that caused that graphics glitch. I'll look into it sometime in the future and hopefully it won't happen again.
  20. I have this model on hand, this is a decent 2S6 model (here: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3ds-sa19-tunguska-vehicle/609893) that I bought and years ago had somebody implement it into SF2. I have it setup for game use, it works except for the missiles, which I found out today don't work because it only moved the guns. Can somebody look over this and see what the issue is? I have the original files (Max or 3DS) so there's no issue of finding the original 3D model which is now exported to .LOD format. If anybody is interested let me know so they can look at it.
  21. Install the game then run compatibility mode
  22. I don't run it in compatibility mode but it may help with your laptop. Once you get it working it works fine with Win11.
  23. Yeah I have a few days ago. He's alive and apparently well, just on Facebook more than here Down and dirty
  24. Thanks for this as it'll help with Modex and the like :)
