  4. I personally don't think A3 is that bad, and some DLCs like the helo, and Marksman were good, and I like playing it still, and when A4 comes out I'll be moving to that depending on how it works out, but good to know.

  6. Well my gaming laptop handles SF2 fine. I mean it's a bit wonky with some things but it runs fine as it comes, even with newer mods and bigger textures. Like I said upgrading would only fix the issue if it's a memory problem, regardless of card or whatnot. I can understand money issues but yeah, a 4GB card needs to be upgraded, regardless of how old it is. I honestly can't suggest otherwise with very old hardware, and upgrading it would solve the issue.
  7. I mean as mods come by more and more the larger the textures will be, so upgrading your video card will probably be needed at the minimum. I mean you can only hold on to it for so long before newer mods wreck it.
  8. Anything that TK decides to work on this game would bring anything sort of a fresh life into it. I gotta admit for a sixteen-year old game it still works and such, but expecting TK to get off his ass and actually implement (as well as a patch) would be nice, but don't get your hopes up. You're honestly better off playing on the mobile version if you want new stuff.

    Right now things are again at a dull roar. I've been dealing with some family issues at home so been somewhat busy as can be, but it's not too bad and things are going okay. Anyway, BradMick from the Project Hatchet should hopefully give up the HeliSim profile for the Kiowa, so I'll be learning how to integrate it into the helicopter. I'm thinking of just basic texturing the gun pod with the closest coloration that it had. As for the GAU-19 I'll get to it sometime pending reference shots and whatnot. Wiki shows no use of the ATAS so I may not do it. In a future update I'll be removing the BIS pylon weaponry and stick to operational use weapons, which will be pretty soon after this post probably, just to wean players off of it, unless there is a desire to keep it. Other helicopter news just doing some minor tweaks for the UH-92s, and adding some wire strike stuff to the MH-92s, so not much on that front. I did submit (and it's live) a Pilot UH-1Y mission to the Workshop, so if you enjoy that helo and want to fly it SP, then check it out sometime. Other than that not much else going on unless there are of course some requests I can furnish and the like

    EricJ Helicopter Pack RC111 - Added a requested new helicopter, the "S-70 Utility Blackhawk", which is basically a stripped-down civilian version of the Blackhawk chopper.     ADuke Kiowa Warrior Alpha AC16 - Added a "finished" M3P machinegun for the Kiowa. I need feedback on how it feels and if it looks right on the bird. I think I did a good job and in the future will be textured. But it works, and a very much thanks to John Unden on LinkedIn who provided some good reference photos of the pod so I can get it in A3. In the future sometime it will be textured, as I want it to look good.

    For news I've been somewhat hanging out at the Project Hatchet Discord and they're talking about doing a project called HeliSim. It's a way to improve the flight models of the vanilla and 3rd party mods that have helicopters, tilt-rotors, and some other ways of doing things. For now I'm going to implement this into the Kiowa rather than the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I feel that the flight model is good enough and no real complaints, and also I want to test the waters with the Kiowa first, as I may change the mind and work on the EricJ Helicopter Pack. for additional mods it will require the Hatchet Framework and the HeliSim mod to utilize these features. if you're like me and don't have much use for ACE3 it won't require it, so that's a good thing if you look at it that way. Personally, I don't like heavy mod dependencies in the first place, and if I can keep it within a mod that just requires the base game, I'll do it, like some of my work, with the only one so far being the EricJ Weapons Pack, which requires CBA of course, but that's a very common mod and most if not all milsims have it for their use. So the Kiowa first, and if it works out pretty good and not overly complicated I can see about the other helis and so on. But that's when it comes out, whenever that will be. As for everything else again I'm at a little breathing room and now that I'm getting some help with the Kiowa, I can model the gun pod. It's coded and modeled (which isn't finished right now, but it works) more or less, with me finishing up the M3P sometime maybe tomorrow or Friday, or within that timeframe.

  19. Also does anybody know how to adjust the HUD symbology so it looks right? I'm working with Soulfreak on a project, and the HUD symbology is low, and not centered on the HUD as it should be. How do I adjust that?
  20. Indeed Got a PM from dtmdragon, and he enhanced the Block III cockpit a bit. Personally I do like the coloration and how it looks closer to the real thing. It'll go in the next update, which is in two weeks again.
