  1. And main files updated and cleaned up as well.
  2. And another fix, apparently I forgot to add the G-Limiter on the jets.... fixed as well for the Super Hornets. INI Update 8.7z
  3. Usually the best way to get that is to request specifically what you're looking for and hope somebody will help you with what you're looking for. We've all got projects to do keeping us busy so that's usually why people like me don't do such things. I'd like to do more Super Hornet skins but I have enough on the plate already.
  4. Okay here's the ini updates to fix the loadouts back to normal, as well as the gun fixes. Sorry for being a bit late on this but.... here you go. I'll upload the main files tomorrow. INI Update 7.7z
  5. No video but a few screenies. Mel EF2000 Typhoon with 4 x AIM-132, 4 x AIM-120C, gun Opposition: F/A-18F Block II with 2x AIM-9X, tank, gun The Super's loadout sure shows that letting other people muck with your shit produces bad results but should have caught it anyway, which I'll re-fix, again. Anyway, the fight was fairly standard, i started from the top and let him take off and nearly had a mid-air collision and after that turned and burned and pretty much blacked out when dealing with a highly maneuverable opponent. As they say "Lose sight, lose the fight" and for about nearly three minutes I nearly did, blacking out with every pull of the stick, so after keeping him from shooting at me (his radar had me for a second but I pulled up and he lost it). I came over the top and I got a lock tone on my ASRAAMs and fired, not totally feeling confident in the shot but he was coming up and took the missile in his face, ending the fight. Takeaways: The settings I have to re-adjust so that I don't black out at every pull of the stick which really annoyed me given i hadn't done a DACT in a long time. Fortunately the ASRAAM tracked and killed the Super Hornet or I probably would have taken a 9X. The Typhoon as the videos show, can pull real tight and it makes the Typhoon a very tough customer in the knife fight, and fairly competent in the BVR arena as well. Though after tweaking the G limit I'll probably be more focused on engaging rather than blacking out.
  6. That's what's good (and hellacious when against it) is the turning ability of the EF2000, very tight and stable, may motivate me to fly again, nice vid too.
  7. Nice, again man it's worth the money, even though its still a beta.
  8. View File F/A-18C Fight's On Modeled on the F/A-18C, this livery from the USMC VMFA-312 is one of the more unique schemes devised based on Heather Ferris’s work. To use for the AI simply copy and paste the “Fights On” folder into the fa-18c folder, and let the AI go fly (or until the DCS: Hornet module comes out). 10. And after a "vacation" yesterday doing the finishing touches:
  11. More work, the triangles for the most part have been troublesome but they look decent enough now...
  12. True, though the CO schemes are changing, where NE101 used to be like NE100 now it's "old school" and same with the CO bird, totally different.
  13. That and also the US Navy allows one "show bird" for each squadron, even though squadrons like VFA-213 and -102 have two (CAG and "102" and "213"). Again it's a big change over from Vietnam-era days where all tactical (Line) jets were just the same color as CAG aircraft (Gull Grey and White, etc). Maybe in an actual war (other than OEF/OIF) they'll tone the paint down but overall given that OEF/OIF wasn't WWIII it didn't matter. And on that note CAG schemes do change when they change CAGs, with one notable exception of VFA-102, which has had the same scheme for nearly a decade or so, but keeping up is a real pain in the ass sometimes. Like you just get done with finding and skinning one, and next thing you know you see a new CAG scheme from the same squadron....
  14. BTW clarification on the above... I really don't care about textures for the aircraft if done by somebody else... modification of the original files I do care about. So skin away....
  15. I've had a weird love affair with this skin, I've always liked it despite it being USMC...
  16. To add to the above most games don't recognize the stick if you plug it in after starting the game.
  17. The Hawk is nice, and the startup sequence isn't hard to learn either. Overall it's a nice plane.
  18. I've noticed that with the SF2 versions, and doing a DACT with the Su-27/33 at least against a Sabre that while probably the same, is no joke either.
  19. I honestly haven;t touched it in a month or two, Korean War and prior don't interest me that much anymore, I'm a bit spoiled with modern-era stuff
