Okay just the Legacy or Supers? In either case you may want to look at your video card settings or patch level. I'm assuming its current as I'm sure you just bought it. I mean I need to reinstall it myself but even back a month or three months ago they worked fine.

Yeah all I did was reconfigure the cockpit "lights" to be more around the cockpit (360 degrees if my tired mind serves me right) and activated automatically when it switched to the night cockpit. Wasn't anything special but it helped as much as it could.

One it hits Steam I'll get it that's for sure. Not much you can do with it but a more modern "sport" jet would do good.

I think the main reason I don't fly Red is that you get shot to hell against Blue, or maybe the game didn't like me. Still have memories of taking off in SoCal and bushwacked by some Eagles and was like "Never again"

I could be wrong but I think until the 90s? Or maybe somebody in the USAF can confirm if they're still in the inventory but with stuff like Thermobaric warheads (which I think was the evolution of FAEs) they're pretty much extinct? I mean most of the development I've seen was smart warheads and the like, and Thermobaric weapons just around of some kind of variety. Again I could be wrong but overall in even Afghanistan the only thing remotely close was White Phosphorous fired from artillery but no FAEs or the like.

I really can't say much more personally about FAEs as I just don't use them in any missions (HE has always worked for me ) so no help from me. I can get in the seat sometime but overall again... HE works :)

I think the rare times I actually flew the A-7 as a DACT it wasn't too bad. Given the time period though it was sort of like nothing impressive. Then again it's been so long as well.

Yeah I've noticed the Super can sometimes be a bit more finicky with certain decks so unfortunately that's just beyond my control.

Yeah but as soon as you make a globe everybody wants to go everywhere and given the issues with one area it'll be in the next century (even at the FSX level so I think for a "globe" would be FSX.. But as a shooter? Yeah I'd like that given the fidelity of the DCS terrain mapping, but that's another issue then you get into various areas such as basic gun mods and so on. Overall with the dearth of aircraft able to be brought in it's just a bigger issue rather than just hoping. Then I'd stop playing Arma and go for DCS as I can do what I like, go flying and if I feel like clearing buildings, etc. then it'd be great. But overall it's just not feasible at the current moment in my mind.

That's cool I do a lot of (admittedly rare) mountain warfare training in the Caucascus as it's the only thing I got to play in the mountains with as far as being in the pilot's seat.

Yeah like Stick and Fubar512 said it's not so much a jet issue but a deck issue. Land on a normal runway and taxi you'll see that the jet doesn't "lean" as you say. Decks are a hit and miss as far as collision LODs and such so that's going to happen like they say.

Yeah I think my point came off wrong so yeah I'm also with Dave, its great their modelling it but seriously more area would be nice.
