  1. WOFF Mods available

Oh well, at least we know now... thanks for trying
  2. The variable incidence tailplane...

Thanks for the reply... I'll get to it
  3. Flying the Sopwith Triplane I noticed it has an elevator adjustment wheel or 'variable incidence tailplane' on the right hand side of the cockpit... does anyone know if there is a control that can be mapped to this? In real life, this aeroplane could in effect be trimmed to fly hands off and was one of the few WWI aeroplanes that had this feature. (F2B and S.E.5 spring to mind) Screenshot below, trim handwheel on RH side.
  4. I've been trying to alter my d3d8 ini file to increase the steps and speed of my zoom control. I make the adjustments, save the file but when I go into the game nothing has changed... when I check the file again it has reverted to default. Is there a step I have missed? Any help appreciated chaps.
  5. WOFF Mods available

  7. d3d8 ini file adjustments...

Working a treat now... I went into the WOFF folder, then WOFFScenery then Shaders... I found the zoom in/out steps and zoom speed in there. Thanks for the help
  8. d3d8 ini file adjustments...

It's for joystick buttons mate... I was using the one in the main directory. I'll have a dig around and see what I can find :)
  9. Yamamoto...again.

Thank you... Didn't realise they lost a P-38 as well.
  10. Are you sure that tail section isn't made from ''Stalin Wood?''
  11. Map question

I'd forgotten how to do it and had to look it up, lol!
  12. I don't care where I land, so long as I 'land' instead of 'crash'
  13. Sopwith Strutter bomb load

Beat me to it... The 'B' type or single seat Strutter B had an internal bomb bay.
  14. Pick your wings

Camel... not the fastest of aeroplanes but highly manoeuvrable with good firepower.
  15. Yamamoto...again.

Just found this... although I knew of the interception, I didn't know much about the detail. Thanks for posting.
  16. Thanks mate... just got the JSGME utility. Not using mods yet with the BH&H2, but you never know what the mod guru's will come up with
  17. Got my Lewis controls mapped to my joystick... seems to work ok
  18. How Naval aviation and carriers began

That was really interesting stuff!... many thanks.
  19. Just seen this... thanks for posting, enjoyed the video. Always liked the old Frogfoot!
  20. Popped into St-Pol and met some of the Naval chaps, they seem to think it was a good idea for me to take up one of their Tripehounds. What a nimble and sporty little beast it is too! It was a glorious afternoon... such a joy to be up there on such a day. On the way back to their drome I saw a train near the coast and chased it along for awhile... a nice end to an enjoyable flight.
  21. DCS: Mi-24 Hind Pre Order

It looks absolutely awesome... I've seen these things in real life in Sierra Leone in the mid 90's. (Ukrainians piloting them for the then government) they are a menacing thing for sure.
  22. Nice job!... I hope he completes the project :)
  23. The Corona Virus Thread

Managed to avoid it so far (touching wood)... got my second jab next month and it can't come soon enough!
  24. Bloody hell!... Seb managed to get out after all. I thought he had had it!
