Then, maybe modders as yourself, should concentrate more in doing cockpits or at least a part of them (the modders), right ?

How do we establish which proposed model is...obscure , taking into account that it was proposed by YOU (not by me), members of CombaAce community ? :D Who decides what is obscure or not, also ? :D If you are suggesting , correct me if I'm wrong, that you don't want a new plane if there is not a suitable cockpit (in YOUR opinion) for it already, then I think we have a subjective opinion here. BUT...if in the end the community will decide , with a large majority , that this is what it wants, a training plane or a remade one, then I will comply. Actually I was wanting to propose exactly that, in the end, Sunday, to VOTE (you, all who made all the propositions) and let the majority decide, this way I will fulfill my duty , to bring you a plane YOU all wanted and not to be a subjective choice of MINE. The SU-34 plane is an exception because is a project that was almost finished and it's easy to bring it, plus it will be as...A SECOND PLANE., a bonus one for you all, IF I can resurrect it! It won't interfere with the voted one as I explained above.

I guess, in the end you saw it my way :). However I read you and I understand your plea (I, personally like the aestethics of training planes, too), but as I stated, at some point some path must part...because we have to...choose the "greater good". :) Changing the subject my sources told me that revamping MIG23U/UB and MIG21U/UM projects are in current development so part of your wish will be granted. "When" is the only element you have to concentrate about now:)

If there is a majority who sees things different, I would like to hear the arguments. Also paths would part at some point , when we have to choose between "new" planes and "remakes" of older planes. So I suggest you take these factors into consideration when you make a proposition. Just an observation. Also I think it would be a good idea someone to make a current "map" of what type of planes modders, here, are working to, in the present, and what stage are the project in. This way we, all, would have a view of what is created here and what should be next. Just an opinion.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I guess you're right and as I recall there was a "civil war" here long time ago, between a CombatAce senior majority and Capun. Capun being the author, no one can share it here anymore , even if it has it. I see your point now. I will sleep on it and decide after if I should include it into the list or not. Thank you for pointing out this matter. I didn't know that AngelP, my old partner in crime, was working on a X-32, thank you for letting me know that. I will eliminate it from the list.(the plane, not Angel LOL)

Got a question for the F-35 lovers who asked for a new one. Why do you want a new one ? I saw at least two models in the SF2 download section. I never unzip them to take personally a good look to them. I saw that they are from 2009/2011. Do those two models have too many flaws or something or what's the deal with you asking for new ones ? Just curious. I noticed that one of them is made by FastCargo who is a plane guru if I remember him well. Please enlighten me on this matter.

Honestly Kevin what I wish is to have a majority happy with the final decision, so it won't be , for sure, just an arbitrary, subjective one. I will pay attention to CombatAce members and veterans arguments, for each presented case. PS - So far, just to express an opinion (maybe there is someone curious what's on my mind LOL) my favorites in the runners list are Grumman S-2 and Canadair CL-215.

Secondly I trimmed the contestants in 4 big categories: - Civilian/cargo planes - WWII aircraft - Special entries (Thrust SSC and Bloodhound SSC) - the rest of the contestants remained With all regrets, first three categories, after weighing the PRO and CONS arguments (subjective of course nonetheless), would have to go. Maybe they will find a way back with the next project, we'll see. I'll keep them in store until then. Thirdly, I must let you know that THERE IS a OV-1C , in SF1 files section (I checked, I have it on my pc, in SF1 folders). Also TAV-8B Harrier II is out of the competition because Yakarov is already working on a model.
