  2. I recently put into the game one of the Pasko YAK models and one of them, the YAK-28 brewer C exhibits something puzzling. In fact the config files I suspect , they do that puzzling effect. Let me explain: When use the default loadout.ini data for , let's say a strike, there are 4 FAB500 bombs loaded (I chose that load for STRIKES). If I start the game and go into air with the default load...the aircraft bay shows one FAB500 only.(and it is ONLY one when you fire the bom) There is only one , even if on the loading screen says there are 4 loaded. Now comes the interesting and puzzling part: if I flip that loading and MANUALLY load again those FAB500 they are shown correctly in the game (4 FAB500). Does anyone know why is this anomaly present and what would be its explanation ? Is there a solution to this ?
  3. My mistake. After spending some time thorugh the weapondata.ini and comparing the names with loadout.ini I discovered where was the cause. There were two racks with names almost identical , but one was for 250 and one for 500Kg and in loadout ini there was the wrong rack for the load. Thread close.
  4. is tha Is that an ask or a question ? That model was not made by me , I downloaded from this site many years ago because I liked the model in real life and I've seen it. I don't know who made it. If you want the model I can upload it. By the way, recently , Wrench said something about copyright for LODs etc. Now I am confuse if even I can upload something that is not be,longing to me. He said I can be banned from this site. I actually didn't understand much of what he said. His style is as if anyone knows what he is talking about, he uses abreviations etc , it's very confusing to me because I don't understand what is referring to somtimes. I am not American native language speaker and I rarely come here (from three to three years lol).

  6. what do you mean ? I read their policy and I understood that IF I have a user account there and password approved, I CAN download aicraft models etc What blackchannel are you talking about ? Who said anything about this ? If I understood correctly they impose for downloading to have an account only because they were receiving a lot of spam, at least that was what I read in that announce.Bottom line...I don't know what are you talking about. Maybe next time you will be more explicit.
  7. I need it for SF1 series. I noticed that your MI-24 beta file is for SF2 series. Does your MI-24 beta file work in SF1 series , too ? I didn't know about his site, sorry. If I did I woudln't be here , would I ? I sent a request for an account and I wait for reply, Faust_ helped me.
  8. Many thanks for that word file, it really helped. It opened my eyes where the real problem was (stall) and what parameteres were involved. More than that , it helped me learn other tricks , as well. I changed the following parameters in both wings sections (I used the values from Kfir-C2 data.ini file): - AlphaStall - AlphaMax - AlphaDepart - StallMoment - StallDrag - CLmax Aircraft behaves now much better when turns (no more bouncing on Y axis up and down), loses speed slower and AI no more enters into the ground when manouvring close to the ground. Thanks once again for the precious help.

  10. Nope, it's not that. That mod is for contrails on Siberian sky only and it's experimental anyway. There are some shots in gallery where one can see that sun effect at sunset/sunrise etc LoL...well you are not the only one wondering that...

  13. Does anyone here have a HD (a full HD would be great) photo or more than one of a IAI Nesher ? I mean a Nesher with its paint camo, not a Mirage 5. I searched on the net and there are no HD Nesher photos. I want to make full HD loading screen for it so would appreciate your help, thank you.
  14. 1.I added the AGM-65 E Maverick which , as you know, it's a laser guided missile. The WOI weapon pack has two more Mavericks, AGM-65A and AGM-65B. I noticed that A and B you can't fire them unless a target is locked (I know they are not laser missiles) etc. I thought that the E model is the same, you can't fire it if there is no target (target is not lased), but you can fire it and, of course it explodes after 100 meters doing nothing. How can you use efectively a laser guided missile except adding a lasing pod on your aircraft ? 2.At my F-4 Kurnass I managed to make the 65A and 65B to appear into a three missiles rack (they can be chosen this way even if in the loadout.ini is a different scheme/pattern). I also , on the hangar screen can choose 65A and 65B into two displacement for each wing. If I add into loadout.ini the 65E it shows on the three missiles rack, but in all other cases I can't choose that 65E three missiles rack into hangar.( I checked the weight, the pylon can sustain it) Why is that ? What should I do to get three 65E missiles rack when ever I want into hangar screen ? (meaning to be able to choose 2 missiles or 3 missiles into the hangar screen)

    I tried them in WOI and they behave bizarre...to say at least. They kindda going up and then make a circle downwards and then they explode....In rest the skins looks fine....:D
  17. I've got a question about the waternormal.bmp file. The water is not upgraded as in WOI or WOV or even the Persian Gulf map yet. If I add a better bmp for that there is no change. What should I do to make the water as in other maps (its quality I mean) to show up or why it doesn't show up in this map ?

I dug a little further and I found into menu (CAT) folder the hangarnoise.ini file and these into it: Hangar Noise [HangarNoise] MenuItemType=AMBIENTNOISE StartTime=1.0 RepeatInterval=0.5 Randomness=4.0 BackgroundLoop=HangarRadio1.wav SoundName[001]=HangarNoise1.wav SoundName[002]=HangarNoise2.wav SoundName[003]=HangarNoise3.wav WOI doesn't have the hangarradio1.wav file, I've added from WOV into the menu folder as in WOV. I checked the WOV, it has them in the exact this order but they work there...In WOI there is no sound into hangar...so something overrides these settings and I have no idea where to look for the culprit...I need help and luck...:) I'm thinking that TK thought that some hangar music from 60's is inappropriate for Israel theme and maybe he killed the whole sound in the hangar, in WOI, and those files just forgot to erase them...
  19. I found them , they are in sound folder, but they won't work where they should, in the hangar. In WOV they surely work, I heard them years ago when I first played WOV, but in WOI they won't work. I'm thinking that , maybe , those sound must be activated by a line in a file, a config one etc and for WOI simply that line it is not there or it is "closed". Do you know where could be that line which activate the sound in hangar ?
  20. I found the one for loading screen only and it's in the Flight folder but the other ones are not there. I also checked the archive, they are simply not there so this could be the explanation why I don't have sound in hangar. I didn't check yet WOV folders, when I will install it I will take a look. However my presumption was that if all WOX works the same way that means it has to be in some config file that line which enable sound in hangar, because WOV has that sounds, I heard them when I played three years ago. It will help if anyone knows exactly where is that line which enables/disables sounds in hangar.
  21. The gun is jamming at one of the aircraft. I played years ago, when SP2 wasn't yet out and I remember there was a thread, which is not to be found now (I've searched for it ) where someone said that the gun can be unjammed on the spot if you change in aicraftobject.ini to look like this: [GunData] AllowUnjamAttempt=TRUE I looked into default.ini file and the command is there (UNJAM_GUN=K) but it won't work, I don't know why and that it pisses me off. The Viggen has 800 bullets and everytime I fire it stopes after 30 bullet fired or so spoiling everything for me there. Is there a way to fix this please ?
  22. oh I see. Thank you for the input. However , I finally found that thread were Wrench gave a solution. I raised to 99% reliability and now it seems it works without jamming. I know it's not historical accurate but... Thank you once again all !

    the texture have that shimmering "bug" display. It won't go away even if I use that shimmering fix.
