Ya the mig-29 sound is pretty cool! Speaking of I like how in the mig 29 cockpit when you pull some G's the cockpit moves! Like a pilots head moving around I guess It makes it feel really cool when flying the Fulcrum... how is that effect done? and or why is that not implemented into other cockpits? Is it feasible? -

Just a quick thing Napalm/Firebombs are usually dropped a lot lower than 5000 feet if that helps any... just watch any vietnam/Iran Iraq war documentary youll see A-4's/F-4's screaming just above the tree tops when they release napalm canisters. This is partially due to close proximity to friendly troops needing a more accurate delivery and also because napalm canisters usually tumble and from high altitudes the tumbling effect makes them very inaccurate. In game whenever I drop napes Im always on the deck dropping them fairly close to the enemy troops/trucks etc if you watch your wingman drop napalm they ususally do the same thing low flat approach to target! An odd bug/problem I found today in the IR terrain

So I was playing around with the Iranian F-4's on their home turf the Iran/Iraq terrain... and I kept getting HUGE drops in framerates when selecting and or firing any PGM's (LGB's on the F-4D and AGM-65B's on F-4E's) I tried flying an american F-4 with the exact same result, Im surprised there wasnt as CTD. I tried lots of variations of thing but keep getting the same result so i have narrowed the issue down to it being something in the IR terrain... I have never seen this happen on any other terrain i even tried redownloading the IR terrain to no avail... anyone have any ideas? -

Hey CA! I have always liked the fictional Dhimar Paran conflicts... I have Desert 4 and LOVE IT! I also have the campaigns for the terrain.... Does anyone know how to make dhimar flyable in campaigns? I have the country in My nations ini and is flyable in singlemission just cant figure out how to make the campaign flyable. Ive searched for an answer and came up empty :-( -

Hey! I saw in a WIP thread awhile ago that there was a South African terrain in the works.... is that still going? Cause I would love to fly in a border war scenario considering I am south African! Haha anyone have any info on that? -

Which ground objects packs are required for most terrains?

Hey all, I was playing around with different mods and I accidentally messed up my ground objects folder and so I started from scratch with my ground objects and this has led to a rash of very annoying crashes... I have downloaded the standard AAA, Tanks, SAMS, Transport and even Paskos desert objects pack but to no avail what do you guys recommend for a slew of ground objects to stop these constant crashes -

hey everyone! I have two quick questions 1st what is the best Israel ME terrain/remake? 2nd I'm not a fan of the stock desert tiles but I really like Wrench's Libya terrain but I cant seem to find a tileset that works without holes around airbases and ports etc... any suggestions? -

Hey CA! Does anyone know how to adjust a nations pilot training level by terrain? Specifically I was hoping to make the IRIAF and IqAF skill levels higher but specifically for the IR terrain to get more interesting dogfights past the merge, while keeping them a lower skill level for other terrains IE IR2003 and Desert Storm. Ive looked around and the only thing I tried led to a single mission crash everytime... any ideas? -

Runway Tiles bmp/jpg file callouts

Hey CA! Does anyone know where the file callouts are for runway tiles in the terrain Ini files? I have always had crashes with the Desert 3 and 4 maps and I think I have traced it to the MASSIVE runway tile file sizes. These files are bigger than the runway files of any other terrain I have, and when starting a flight in air there are no crashes... I'm wondering if changing these tiles to JPGs will fix this, or if someone has a non super high res version of the desert 4 runway tiles, I have no need for hugely high quality runway tiles and desert 3/4 account for at least 90% of all my game crashes. Any help would be great!! -

Hey all! I tried to follow the instructions for updating the AmericanNW all seaons included pack to SF2 following the instructions in the Knowlege section posted by Wrench, I still just blow up on the runway, all the aircraft seem to "Spawn" on top of each other and then blow up as a result... any ideas? or has someone already updated the terrain? -

Certain types of aircraft IE the F-15E with its APG-70 can in a sense target ground objects, however this feature is not in the game's coding, to direct LGB, EOGB, and JDAM,s you select the targets visually to aim the seeker heads of the various weapons -

Hey CA! I recently upgraded to windows 10... however the new drivers that were installed makes everything go crazy at unlimited effects option on... everything seems fine when it comes to using SF2 with effects at high or lower. So this makes me think its an issue with the FX files... Does anyone know where to get old drivers for Intel GPU's? I specifically need intel hd 5500 version 10.18.14.4038. I'm not that savvy when It comes to this stuff so any help would be appreciated! Here is a screenshot of what it looks like on unlimited effects- -
