Now we just need a Super Hornet + Growler module... -
Hey admin/admins; I would like a clear notification somehow when a file is updated in SF2. Especially since I had to get lucky to find the Super Hornet package was updated. Many thanks!

Custom Aircraft Sounds Info
JosefK replied to Menrva's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Knowledge Base
For those of us with too many RL or Real Life problems to manage, can you guys please boil this down to an executive summary to get to the proper 44100 Hz sounds for all jets? Thank you all for your hard work, especially @Menrva on this. -

Swing-Wing Saturday (Caturday?)
JosefK replied to kblomkvist's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Screen Shots
OK my turn... night fighting Fencers in a Tomcat a while ago, saving up the screenies for the forum) (I know not real-life as the Libyans didn't like flying at night...) -
IAI Lavi
JosefK replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
Looks like you got Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) to display correctly? How did you guys do that... Also @Stratos did you guys ever release a beta? There's a book on the Lavi I want to read and obviously when done I want to throw the Lavi around! -
Nice boats nicely modeled, but the Type 90 Ship-to-Ship Missiles have been found to attack land targets quite well not just ships. Also worth noting the gun isn't terribly effective against air targets either. Just feel there's a bit of room for improvement between the two. Attached are some in-action screenshots.

Phantom Phriday. (READ RULES IN FIRST POST)
JosefK replied to yakarov79's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Screen Shots
Some of that Marine Corps Phantom action... Heading into the DMZ as Death Rattlers... Dropping the CBUs... A wingman drops napalm. Making a gun pass to take out a PT-17... Dropping my first napalm and loving it. Making another strafing pass on a PT-17. Final score. -

Any chance you could please do these tails from Miramar Airshow 2019 of the Vikings (F/A-18D) and Red Devils (F/A-18C): Thanks! I will have at least one more request but am downloading photos from a small warbird event today as I type... -

No joy on carrier-based single missions

Like the general concept of a modern Okinawa map. This is close to the Senkaku Islands dispute. Do very much see a flashpoint down thereabouts... -
Help fund the Strike Fighters 2 Windows 10 update!
JosefK replied to MigBuster's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters Series News
Really appreciate ThirdWire giving the SF2 complete to all donors. After my Nihon Hitori campaign is packaged and posted here, I'm going to spend a lotta flight sim time (which isn't much per week) on it.- 139 replies

A Raptor F-22 Campaign concept
JosefK replied to FETCH2015's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mission & Campaign Building Discussion
Not exactly realistic as pilots go from the trainer directly to the combat airframe they're assigned - F-15C, F-15E, F-16, F-22 or F-35 or First Assignment Instructor Pilot. But sounds like fun. -

Help fund the Strike Fighters 2 Windows 10 update!
JosefK replied to MigBuster's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters Series News
This is an opinion I share also. I'd be willing to pay $50 for SF2, especially if it was made clear purchase of SF2 on GOG or Steam helped pay for SF3 development costs, full Flanker series inclusion, a good F-35 series, and more dogfights.- 139 replies

Sukhoi Sunday
JosefK replied to allenjb42's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Screen Shots
It's Sukhoi Sunday!!! Today we celebrate all the jets of Sukhoi... especially the Flanker family! Yes, the Su-27 can still lob bombs - in this case anti-runway bombs... Yup, the Flanker's a pretty decent fighter-bomber for those sunset raids...
